Xariy had obtained the spitorog from the market like Linnea had begged for, though she still wasn't sure why. The little creature was....odd. More than odd. Bizarre really. But as long as it made her happy she wasn't too bothered by it.
"Linnea? I've brought the offered pet! Come and see it won't you?" Xariy called, trying to locate the small girl.

"Here mama!!! Surprise!" Linnea called out, rushing over to her mama and holding up the poscuta she'd put in a doll's dress. It's okay though, Rawn liked it!! :Look how pretty he is!"

"Oh very pretty indeed, my love. But did he agree to it? Or did you do something he didn't like?" She questioned, petting her head as she placed the spitorog down in front of her. "And look a new friend for you."

Linnea glanced guiltily at Rawn before gently placing him down and laughing as he rushed off. She then turned to the newest arrival and squealed in delight, running over and gently poking it. "Ohhhh thank you mama!"

Xariy chuckled as the little creature gurgled up at Linnea, glad that she'd bought a guide on how to care for the thing as well. Just in case Linnea was unsure on what to do with the thing. It hopped toward her and Xariy took a step back, glancing over to her daughter.
"What did you want to name it then, love?"

"Uhhh......" she stared at the tiny creature, laying down on the ground until she could see eye level with it. It made a soft croaking noise and Linnea clapped her hands together. "Princess Bubbles. That's its name."

"Princess Bubbles. Got it. But if it's name is Princess Bubbles there must be a prince then, and a king and queen. Where are they at? Is there a kingdom they belong?" Xariy asked, not judging the name one bit. She was thrilled to have both of her children so excited for different things.

"Oh mama you're so very smart! Of course they have a kingdom! But the prince, well, I think Rawn should be the prince. He's the best at being prince and princess, but since Princess Bubbles is the princess they should be married."

Eager to continue her explanations, Linnea grabbed hold of Princess Bubbles and held the creature up to her mama's face. "Princess Bubbles is very important to her family. She's the next leader after all. But prince Rawn doesn't care about that so there's lots and lots of problems."

"So then how are they going to fix this issue? It seems very serious. I would hate for the kingdoms to go to war with each other because prince Rawn refused to marry," Xariy smiled, sitting down next to Linnea and taking more notes.

"But mama that is why I am here! I have to negoti-negotiate? Yes that word. I have to do that to make sure there is peace! It couldn't be anyone else," Linnea explained, crossing her arms over her chest. "Not even Layn could do it!"

"Well love, I don't think Layn would want to do that so I think you're very safe. Both kingdom's wellbeing are entirely in your small hands. Very safe hands, indeed! Princess Bubbles is surely safe in her marriage now," Xariy reassured, grinning wide.

"Yes mama! I accept my position with great honor! Do I get a fancy title or a sash? Don't some of the nobles get sashes?" She questioned, looking around for anything to wear. She would be so very excited to get a sash like the fun things she saw the fancy people wear!

"Of course my love every important position requires a sash," Xariy agreed, getting up to grab one of her scarves and pinning it together to create a sash. "How is this, a good important sash for a good important girl then?"
She would do anything to make sure her daughter had the best she could give after all.
