Taaffe jumped onto the roof and grinned, running up to her best friend and jumping on her back. She didn't worry about surprising her, it was rather hard with the whole aura thing. “I’m here now, time to turn me into a mean, lean, fighting machine.” She wanted to be able to really hold her own and not call on someone to back her up though watching people crumble due to Villon’s attack amused her to no end.
“What’s first?” She gave her best friend a squeeze before she hopped down.
Pezz could definitely feel the signature of her best friend the moment she came in range, instantly carrying her piggyback style the moment she jumped on her back. While carrying her around, Pezz was trying to think of how she wanted to start. “Yes, I think we should starrrrt with your form.” She let her friend down, and pulled a bit of chalk from her pocket, drawing a line. “Alright! So I need you to go to that line and place one foot on either side.”
“Bestie, I love you, but it's weird that you have a random piece of chalk.” She moved to stand like Pez asked, grinning at her best friend. She wasn't much for fighting, if she was honest because she was 100 pounds soaking wet, nothing but limbs and more interested in verbally wounding someone.
“Now what Pez?”
“I love you too, but I brought the chalk from home. Now I need you to watch me as I demonstrate for you.” Pezz went through the motions of basic boxing, moving her bestie in place to correct her posture when necessary. “Alright, I want you to try and hit me as fast and hard as you can, using what I taught you so far.”
Taaffe follows the motions her best friend was showing her trying not to get frustrated at the corrections. She felt kind of stiff at time and didn't think it was supposed to be that way. She shook her arms out when they finished the basics and wondered if her best friend really expected her to be able to recall that so quickly, but also not wanting to use all her strength. It was different than her normal self and she honestly didn't want to hurt her bestie.
“You sure about that,” she said with a raised brow, taking the best stance she could before throwing a punch.
Pezz nodded, “Yes I'm sure Taf, just hit me, I can take it.” She readied herself in a defensive stance, preparing herself to take the hit as planned. She was not aware of the enhanced strength otherwise she would have told Taff to hold back. “Show me whatcha got bestie~”
Taaffe barely heard her friends respond, as she tossed her punch putting as much of her strength behind it as possible. Her fist connect and she watched as he friend stumbled clumsily. Maybe she used a bit too much of her strength.
“Sorry Pez, thankfully we’re bit a little tougher this way? How was that though?”
She wasn't expecting the stumble, but damn that was a hard hit.
Pezz giggled, shaking her head, “That was amazing! Let’s try one more time, I'll be more prepared this time.” She adjusted her stance once more, a wide grin on her face.
Taaffe nodded and tried to reposition herself as best as she could. She figured it would take some getting used to just like when she was learning to skateboard. She raised her fist and with a nod to her friend went to throw another punch. She didn't use as much strength as the first punch, wanting to practice the motion more than hit her friend. She also didn't want to unbalance herself less her friend actually hit her back.
Pezz took the hit with a grunt, relaxing, “That was much better than the first!” she walked up to her bestie with a thumbs up. “I Think we could call it a night for now and go practice on some unsuspecting victims for energy taking~” Or they could also fight a senshi, because that would be nice. “Want a piggy back right for a bit?”
Taffee nodded and smirked at her friend. “Yes, definitely have to keep up with the energy quota, worst thing about the nightlife.” Taaffe shook her head and proceeded to pull her board out of a negaspace pocket. “Ill board this time, maybe next time.”
She jumped down knowing Pez would following before dropping her board and jumping on.
She grinned and kicked off, not going to fast but gliding, “lets go bestie”
Pezz shook her head, stretching for the start of her jog. She was not about to ride a skateboard, that was the one thing she did not have confidence in. “Maybe I might have to have you carry me one day!” She laughed, jogging to keep up at the side of her bestie. Being a negaverser wasn't as hard as she originally thought it would be now that she had her best friend with her and one of the best teachers/guides on the planet in the form of Wither. Yep, life was good.
Taaffe skated along while her best friend jogged beside her. “I have a long board, we could try to skate together. It might take some practice, but man it would be amusing. Can you image, the double team. Riding in on a skateboard and surprising the heck out of some order fool.”
She chuckled and turned into an alleyway, “Their is a club up this way. We can drain some dunkards leaving for the night.”
