Akiliano had brought up the prospect of making a trip to the city of Noelani for a father-daughter mini vacation. The poor girl was starting to get a little bored being around Matori so he decided to switch it up and take her on a mini-trip to a different island. Not to mention and the same girl was stressing over the pressure of having to decide on a career path.

When her dad approached her about making a mini trip to the City of Noelani and she was more than eager to go, she needed a change in the scenery because she was getting a little bored of the same view in Matori over and over again. She was excited and a little anxious about going somewhere different but she knew it would benefit her at some point so she was all for it. So here she was in the settlement of Noelani with her father as a mini father-daughter trip.

He looked over at his daughter at the excitement of her visiting something new and different from what she was used to. He grinned at her as he watched her eagerly look around at the different environment, he chuckled lightly and walked over to her gently putting a hand on her shoulder "Settle down, Auali'i, we will get to see what the city has to offer" he said trying to settle his daughter down.

She stopped bouncing around once her dad had set his hand on her shoulder "I'm sorry...I'm just soo excited to be somewhere different" she told him eagerly, she still had her childlike wonder when it came to discovering something new and different. She guessed that her dad had suggested this trip because she was having issues deciding what she wanted to do and going away would help her clear her mind.

He chuckled lightly as she settled down "all right, lets figure out where we should start first" he said before scanning around. Perhaps, they should start with getting something to eat so they have the energy to explore everything or at least a part of what the City of Noelani had to offer. He was pretty certain they wouldn't get to everything but he was hopeful they would be able to go see most of it. He hummed thoughtfully "How about we go find something to eat first, and then we can figure it out from there" he suggested.

She nodded her head at her father's suggestion "I think that is a good idea" she said and looked around to see if there were any good places to eat. This was ultimately hers and her father's first time here so they didn't know where the best spots were, so they would have to ask one of the locals to see if they have any suggestions of where they could go eat.

He hummed thoughtfully he didn't know his way around the Noelani settlement itself so he would need to ask one of the locals. Hopefully one of them would be able to help them figure out where the best spots were to grab a meal. He took Auali'i's hand and started to walk away from where they had arrived. His blue eyes scanned around to see if there were some indications that there was a place to grab a bite to eat.

When she had finally settled down from her excitement, she scanned around also with her eyes to see if there were any obvious places to eat. In places like these there was always an obvious indication where they could find food, most either had like eating symbol or a bowl and cutlery symbol on their signs. "Dad, should we ask a local to see if they have any recommendations for us?" she asked him.

"I think you might be right," he said before stopping a local and speaking with them to see if they had any recommendations for them. He nodded his head as the local spoke and listed off some recommendations for them to explore. One of the places the locals suggested they go visit in the Noelani Settlement was the Noelani Cliff top spring but was told that would be difficult as it was a sacred place for all Kaha'ikos. He walked back over to where Auli'i was waiting for him.

She blinked as her dad came back from conversing with one of the locals "What did they say?" she asked him. As she waited for the answer she took the time to really take in her surroundings, it was almost like time slowed here because everyone was enjoying themselves with so few worries and stresses. It was welcoming to her convoluted mind of figuring out her career. She took a big breath in and let it out, letting an air of tranquillity settle her mind.

"Well, they said that there should be a good place to eat up this way and then suggested we go visit the springs here because it was one of the most popular sights to go to for visitors to Noelani and it might help you clear your head," he told her, taking a bit time to inhale a breath and then exhaling it, feeling an air of calm settle on his shoulders. He looked around and steered them in the direction of the restaurant mentioned. He hummed to himself as they made their way over.

She nodded her head at her father's answer "Okay, that sounds like a good idea" she said as she let him steer her in the direction of the restaurant that was recommended to them. As she was steered she managed to sneak glances at the surrounding area and she was enjoying how calm it made her feel.

Once they had arrived at the restaurant they looked around for an empty table and made their way over sitting down. As they sat down a server came around with their menus and handed them to them before going to attend to their other patrons and giving him and Auali'i a few minutes with the menu. He looked at the menu and scanned to see what they had, as he read the descriptions they all sounded tasty but also the flavours were probably going to be different from what the two of them were used to in Matori.
He looked up from his menu and across at Auali'i "Do you know what you want to get?" he asked her gently. He was already starting to see a shift in her mood, and he was grateful for it.

She hummed thoughtfully as she scanned the menu, and after a few minutes, she decided on her meal. It was some sort of dish with Pale’iko's staple food with veggies and from what she had read it sounded delicious. She paused and looked up from her menu across to her father "Yes, I have decided; I'm going to go with this, it's some sort of dish with Pale’iko's staple food and veggies" She told him "Do you know what you want to get?" she asked him in return.

He nodded his head at her question "I do, I might just go with a dessert I'am not all that hungry" he said they had eaten before they had left so he was still full from that meal. He looked at the menu and pointed out a dessert garnished with deep red berries. It sounded like it was a delicious dessert, he waited for the server to come back around to their table.
