It was a beautiful day for fishing and he had some time on shore to enjoy what charms the land brought as well. He looked proudly at the basket of veggies he had bought off Kylaelya who had a new family of his own. Kellye was happy for him. But for now, he wanted fish. Fishing was life, or at least his life. He carried a rod and a shiny new tackle box that Kechiri had given him as a signing bonus. He waved to everyone he saw in a great mood.

Hummed to himself as he strode along the shores, he had some fishing knowledge but not a lot hopefully he would run into someone that would teach him the trades of fishing. He knew how hunt and shoot an arrow on land but not when it came to fishing, that was a whole another skill.

He found a secluded warf and sat himself down with his lunch kit, tackle box and let his line out. Today was going to be a great day, he could tell. Life was just beautiful especially when you got to go fishing. He adored fishing in every form but there was something so personal about a rod and line like you were connected to the fish deeper.

He hummed thoughtfully and tilted his head to the side; as he noticed a figure in the distance, curious. He made his way closer to the figure and as he got closer he couldn’t recognize the race of the other, he stopped and thoughtfully thought he did need some friends. After all it was just Akea for the longest time, maybe it was time to make a new friend.

He was focusing on his line, waiting for that tell tale nibble that would start the fight sequence. Fishing was both exciting and meditative in turns. There was all this peace punctuated by excited chaos culminating in the fish being brought in or not. But just being outside was most of the fun. The line tightened and he felt that there was a fish idly nibbling the bait. His whole concentration was now focused there.

He was about to say something but he looked really focused on trying to reel in his rod that he assumed had caught a fish. He didn’t want to break the other’s concentration so he just opted for waiting patiently until he was done with his task before speaking up. He squished his toes in the sand as he waited patiently.

He fought the fish back and forth. He could tell it wasn't a very big one but even a small fish could be used as bait to catch a bigger fish. And if it was too small or a rare species he could always put it back where it had come from. He brought the little fish up and out of the water it was flopping on the dock when he looked up and startled a bit. "Oh hello! "

"Its no problem, er do you want the fish? Its not very big but well I'm trying to do more nice things for people to raise my vibration." More like he had gotten in trouble and this was Kechiri's way of clensing his soul.

He shook his head at his offer of the fish “maybe see if you can catch something bigger with it” he told him gesturing to the empty spot beside “may I?” He asked him politely.

He grinned, "By all means, fishing is better with friends or aquintances, though I hope we get to be friends, I don't have enough of them and you seem like a more than pleasant fellow." He thought he had seen that bright blue hair around town at some point.

“Thank you” he said and sat down beside him “i don’t have enough friends either, its just been my fiancée for the longest time” he said thinking about it. It was true though since Akea and him got together its just been Akea, so it was time to make some friends.

"Sometimes it happens. I was fortunate that my friend has a huge family but other than that, I don't have many that I haven't stolen from her. He did have an aquaintance in Oba who he would very much like to see again. "Sometimes depending on your job and family you don't get a lot of time to socialize and do the stuff that gets you new friends. Glad you are getting out now though.

He nodded his head agreeing with him “i don’t have a huge family just my fiancée and my two girls” he said thinking about them thoughtfully. But also, he was also helping Akea raise their girls and they kept them on their toes for sure.

"Even two young ones can feel like 8. We have a lot on the ranch at any given time and its like looking after baby dragons. They get into everything..and ride everything that they shouldn't but they sure make you feel young again just from being around them!"
