The glimmer of a beautiful costumed figure fluttering through the park has been passed around as rumor, and no matter what anyone claims to see, no one can take a picture of it. As if simply seeing some magical figure isn’t mysterious enough, there are also reports of mischief and small pranks being played at the same time this figure seems to appear.

Acteae was out and about she was getting used to her life and she was happy now, she was the corrupt senshi of the harvest and she was fine with that. She had a whole group supporting and guiding her so she was good. Well not good but she was chaotic and that was fine with her. She was wandering the star festival looking around at the booths and things going on. She leaned down to pick up a star charm she spotted on the ground. The park had set up fairy houses and she was walking around looking at them minding her own business.

Acteae may have been out minding her own business, but Beta Leporis, as usual, was not. Since the scavenger hunt with her friend, and since the magic of the city giving her the much needed second wind, Beta Leporis was out and about and looking for answers again. Someone had to have seen her sister, right? Someone had to have had contact with a three foot tall bunny girl monster, right? Right? That was just a matter of numbers. If she kicked in enough doors and demanded enough answers someone would have to have something for her.

Right?

So no, Beta Leporis was decidedly not minding her own business that night nor would she be doing so any night in the foreseeable future. Which was why, upon feeling the prickling of chaos on the very edges of her senses, Beta made a beeline for that feeling and planted herself within the corrupted senshi's line of sight. And if that was where Beta's plan ended, then well... the other senshi didn't need to be aware of that.

"Bold of you to be out and about," Beta challenged, her arms crossed over her chest in a show of defiance.

Acteae cocked her hip and smiled at the figure "Oh why thank you I thought my outfit was rather bold as well." She spun around showing it off and she smirked at the senshi and said "Is there a problem officer?" She asked with a smirk on her face she hadn't been doing anything wrong, she hadn't been draining anyone she had no plans to do that at the moment. She preferred to collect small amounts of energy that no one noticed would be missing. Like the food drive she did.

She thought it was very clever and it did hurt anyone. "So what reason do you have to be bothering me sweetheart?" She said leaning forward and putting her hands on her chin. "It's a festival and you can't just beat up a helpless woman during a festival can you?" She made a tisking sound and she waved her finger at the senshi. "That doesn't sound very orderly to me." She paused "Shouldn't it be your mission to help all the poor corrupt senshi souls and bring that back to the pretty light?" Actaea taunted. She didn't remember her life before she was a corrupt senshi she had this life and that was all she knew.

She has once thought that the negaverse would hurt her family but at this point she was just ready for a new character in her life. She had a team that loved and supported her and she was part of this world. The nega world was strange and beautiful. The order senshi didn't understand that. Perhaps they never would. She was fine where she was. She didn't remember her time as an order senshi. She had decided to let go of her human family this was the life she had decided to build and this was the senshi she had decided to make fun of.

Helpless.

The poor, corrupt senshi.

Honestly, the arrogance of this senshi before her surprised Beta. It wasn't often that she encountered a senshi or officer who was so brazen and sure of themselves, but sometimes... sometimes... And didn't that just get under Beta's skin? Because what did they have to be so pompous about? What reason had they to be so certain of themselves when they reeked of evil and chaos and every vile thing the universe could concoct? It made Beta was to puke. Make her want to spit and sneer and scream. Made her call her magic to her lips alongside acid and vitriol.

"My mission," she spat as she took a step forward. "is to find my sister, you presumptuous little hag. Rice Powder, Dust."

The wind kicked up as soon as the words left her lips, bringing dust in its wake. Beta stepped easily through it, raising her voice above the torrent of sound and debris.

"Your kind took her from me. And maybe, had that not happened, I might consider a different path. As it stands, however, my mission is to her, and to her alone. And I will bring down anyone who stands in my way."

Rice Powder, Dust
Beta Leporis calls the name of her attack and instantly a whirlwind begins to whip around her. A moment later, the air begins to grow thick with fine rice powder. This powder conceals her and any other order-aligned allies from by reducing or eliminating the vision of any chaos-aligned opponents. Along with diminished or eliminated visibility, the rice dust also causes irritation in the lungs resulting in coughing if it is breathed in. Order-aligned allies are spared from this effect as well and are able to move around freely. If a chaos-aligned opponent is wearing a mask or something that covers the nose and mouth or if they are wearing goggles they may experience lessened or no effects based on the amount of coverage. For instance, a scarf around the mouth may diminish the effect, but a gas mask will eliminate it altogether. The dust-filled whirlwind has a 15-foot radius and lasts for 30 seconds. Beta Leporis can use this attack three times per battle.

Acataea could hardly stand in her way in this position with the rice power clouding her vision making it so she couldn't attack and the irritation in her lungs, she wanted to be stubborn and stand and fight but she wasn't stupid. This was not a good spot for her she was going to have to retreat she didn't have a choice. Since she most certainly didn't want that rice power in her lungs a second time. She also didn't want to speak and allow more rice power into her lungs to make so sassy exit. This was one senshi she did not want to deal with again.

The corrupted senshi had been arrogant, but in the end that didn't matter. Like so many of her kind, she had been all bluster with no venom to back it up. Beta didn't even botther to hide the smug smile that cracked across her lips as she watched the other senshi's back vanish while the rice powder settled around her. Despite the difference is power level, she had won. Victory settled sweetly on her tongue for a moment before it soured.

She was, despite her victory, no closer to finding her sister.

Maybe... maybe she should be doing less attacking and more talking. After all, senshi in retreat could not speak to her...
