Some of these connect back to the lake, but others rapidly plunge into darkness. It wouldn't be hard to get lost in here, but thankfully there are some very odd lights to help guide you out. If you turn off your light down some of these dark paths, you may find yourself surrounded by glowing pastel lights. A closer inspection reveals that you seem to be looking at some sort of glowing caterpillars. An internet search will reveal that Destiny City scientists have been researching the strange, unnamed creatures, but the articles are very limited. If you take them out of the cave they seem to shrivel up almost immediately. They’re neat, but clearly meant to be stay in their natural habitat. Issy had been with her family at the reservoir and she had almost been drowned by a creature in the water, after all that she was done with the water for the moment so she decided to go and check out the cave. She didn't have a flashlight on her so she quickly noticed the glowing lights on the cave walls, looking closely she could see the caterpillars leaving the trails. The cave was very dark so she would be pretty much impossible to see in the darkness. She was engrossed in looking at the lights and watching the caterpillars she wasn't paying attention to anyone else entering the cave.

Nemu had been playing by the reservoir together with Sato, an outing to the beach that Mama and Papa had taken the day off from their busy lives to take the twins out to. Unfortunately, the ball they had been playing with had gotten away from them and rolled off into the unknown, somewhere in the direction of the caves, and Nemu, unaware of just how dark the caves could be, had gone after it. In hindsight, she should have let Mama or Papa go look for it, but she wanted to be brave, and it didn't seem like it could have rolled that far away. Also, she was a senshi if anything came up? What Nemu didn't account for was the bugs. If there was anything Nemu was the most afraid of, it was insects, in part because of her twin's love of both bug catching and playing pranks. Glowy caterpillars, while probably pretty to other people, only served to spook the poor child as she accidentally brushed up against one, and she started to panic. "Eeek! Stay away! H-Help!" If one wasn't right there with her, it probably sounded like she was being attacked by a great monster, or being stalked by some sort of creep, but no, she just... was panicking over the insects.

Issy got hit by someone who seemed to be having a panic attack she grabbed for their arms and she frowned "Calm down they are only caterpillars they won't hurt you you fool." She said her voice filled with annoyance. She couldn't get to her flashlight so she could show them there was nothing to be afraid of. "Calm down and then I can show you what they are, or you could just look at the trails they leave." She was grumpy she had her quiet time interrupted by this fool. She had just wanted to watch the caterpillars going about their lives not worry about this person squishing the poor things. They didn't deserve to be murdered by this nut case.

Someone grabbed her, an older girl that Nemu didn’t recognize, who seemed to be angry at her for some reason. Unfortunately, it was difficult to explain at the moment that she had a particular fear of insects, that bordered on an actual phobia, and even if they were harmless caterpillars to this other girl, it was all the same to Nemu, who was very much on the verge of tears at the moment. If she was squishing any of the caterpillars in her flailing, it was purely unintentional, but she was in the midst of panic... "I-I'm sorry...!!!" was all the girl could manage, unsure of what she had done to offend to the other girl, but apologetic all the same.

Issy took a deep breath and she sighed out "It's ok, it's ok just calm down and I can show them to you." Issy turned out her flashlight and shined it on the caterpillars. "Look they are harmless. They make the trails of rainbow color across the cave they won't hurt you I promise." She said in a more gentle tone now that she had calmed down and hoped she could get the other girl to calm down as well so they could enjoy this part of nature instead of being afraid of it. "I'm Issy by the way." She turned to look at the girl maybe talking calmly would also help to defuse the situation so they would both stop freaking out and so panicking. She moved the flashlight slowly around the cave to show the other girl there was no slimy scary bugs in the cavern. "See nothing to be afraid of, if you want to head out of here I can guide you and we can go back outside so you can get some fresh air." She also figured if all else failed she could get ride of the girl and go back to enjoying the cave by herself. She loved these creatures she was also curious to see what they would become when they changed since all caterpillars became either butterflies or moths. She thought since they were nesting in a cave perhaps they were moths that would come out of the cave in a rush of color when they hatched from cocoons after a time. She smiled at the thought she wanted to see that.

“Um… I-I’m Nemu…” the girl stammered out, with a mixture of fear and confusion to her voice… though perhaps it wasn’t wise to give her name out to someone who possibly went to the same school as the twins. She’d have to ask Sato about if she knew an ‘Issy’ later, but for now, getting out of the caves seemed like a wonderful idea. The ball she had lost wasn’t quite forgotten, but she would ask Mama or Papa to look for it… or Sato, since she was the one that liked (and caught) bugs. She supposed if there was one good thing about these being bugs and not a monster was that she would have had to power up, which. Hokkaido had no offensive magic whatsoever (she just made people feel well-rested!), and she would have revealed her identity to a girl that she had no idea if they were a senshi… or perhaps a Nega?

Issy lead the way out of the cave and she sighed "Well I guess I'll see you later." She said standing there waiting for the other girl to leave. She picked up a star charm laying on the ground. She cleaned it off while she waited.

"T-thank you..." Nemuri managed, because being polite was the least she could do, to this strange girl who both was mad at her but also willing to help her out, as she was led out of the cave. She still didn't know who Issy was, and 'see you later' sounded ominous, but that was something to worry about for later, hopefully. Issy looked older, so maybe she went to a different school, and not Knightside! Or at least, if she was truly older and went to Knightside, they wouldn't see each other at school, because of being in different grades! Hopefully. Maybe. Feeling ashamed of herself but less anxious now that she had been removed from the bug-filled cave, Nemu headed back to where her family was to rejoin them, making sure her own emerald star charm was still in the pocket of her sundress, as she had seen Issy pick up a star charm of her own, and briefly panicked as to if she had dropped hers in the confusion. No, it was very thankfully still there, which meant she could go back to Mama and Papa, and not have to bother this older girl anymore, who probably was still annoyed with her, even if she did help her out of the cave. What an exhausting turn of events!
