It was somewhat earlier than when Iðavöllr normally liked to patrol at this time of year, with the strawberry blonde-haired Page preferring to leave it to at least early evening before powering up–
After all her outfit was something that was better suited for the cooler months of the year. And Iðavöllr found even late afternoon a little bit tooo hot for her liking.
There had been a heavy shower earlier in the day however that had damped the heat somewhat, and that coupled with the fact that she had an earlyish morning start that she would appreciate getting enough sleep for had tilted the scales in favour of her taking a chance at venturing out as Iðavöllr.
There was something nice at the way that in the wake of the showers, flowers seemed to think a good time to spring up from the ground–
Although Iðavöllr was pretty sure that a few of the patches of flowers had actually been barren patches of earth not that long ago.
Still none of the flowers seemed up and about to somehow spirit her away to somewhere where things seemed to want to kill her (as had been the case in previous years) and they were a lot prettier than the giant spider that she had had the misfortune in encountering when she had first powered up back around halloween in 2017 so she was very much going to take that as a ‘win’ as it seemed a lot better than some of the potential alternatives.SSBrosB Apologies for the delay Bros and hope that this works as a start. Larissa had heard about the flowers about the flowers in previous years but had yet to actually go and see them, so when posts about them had started to pop up about an hour ago she had decided to head out and see what pictures she could take of them! Only, it didn't appear that she was the only powered person out here! She had powered up in case she could sense any Agents around causing trouble, and was surprised that she felt the aura of a Page in the same vicinity. "Hello!" She said as she waved when the Page was within view. "Glad to see someone else out here tonight! I came to take some pictures!" She said, holding out a civilian camera. "I'm Larissa, Senshi of Water Lillies." She introduced herself as she got to within speaking distance of the Page. "I don't believe we've met before!"litian Apologies for the late response!

The flare of aura would have been hard to miss, given that it was strong and also felt like it was close enough to be virtually on top of her.
Iðavöllr had actually been contemplating perhaps trying to see if she could track down the source of the other aura, especially when it seemed like it was already moving in her general direction–
But before she could come to any sort of decision a young woman had appeared and headed over to where she was standing.
"Hello," she called back, her hand instinctively rising in an answering wave.
Although she waited until the other was within proper speaking distance to add "I can’t say that we’ve met before either" because Iðavöllr hadn’t really met that many powered people and she thought that she would have at least remembered if she’d met a senshi with such a cute senshi outfit–
Especially as said senshi appeared to be an eternal senshi like her cousin.
"It’s nice to meet you though Larissa - I’m Iðavöllr. Iðavöllr Page of Polaris."

Larissa shook her head. "I don't believe we have met either. But, that just means we now know more people who are a part of Order, and that's always good in my opinion." She said with a small laugh. "Iðavöllr! And a Page of Polaris?! You'll have to meet my boyfriend sometime, Alphubel. He's a Knight of Polaris but he often thinks he should still be a Page. But he would definitely like to meet another Polaris Knight!" It was something that she was trying to help him get over, but she did often wonder if there would be a way to find someone in Order who was a Therapist. Their side probably needed a lot of those. "You wanted to see the flowers too? I brought my camera with me to take pictures." She said, holding up her quite human-looking camera. "I can't help but take pictures of nature, especially when it's this beautiful. I take more pictures of plants than people." She said, giving the Page a small smile.

Iðavöllr laughed in amusement "I guess that’s true" she agreed, because for her part it felt like she’d certainly been meeting more people whilst out and about lately.
Come to think of it, the people that she’d met lately probably outnumbered the amount of people that she’d met prior for the entirety of the time that she’d been a Page–
Although it was hard to tell whether the thought was depressing so Iðavöllr tried her best not to dwell on it.
She couldn’t help but look visibly interested when Larissa mentioned that her boyfriend was a Knight of Polaris, because whilst Iðavöllr had met a few knights, including an Earth one that had had a lot of mistletoe as part of his outfit, for all that it had been February - well at least February last year.
She’d yet to meet a fellow knight from Polaris though.
Her lips curved in a somewhat rueful smile as she said "Would it be strange to admit that I’ve yet to cross paths with another Polaris knight?"
She paused for a moment before adding "And I wasn’t out to see the flowers per se, but I’m kind of glad that I’ve seen them."
Because even though some of them probably shouldn’t been growing as fast as they appeared to, Iðavöllr could still acknowledge that the flowers looked really pretty.

Larissa gave a small smile to the other before shaking her head a little. "No... it's the same thing my boyfriend would tell you. I think he's maybe met only 3 or 4 other Polaris Knights. I'm sure they are out there, but finding them can be... hard." Though really finding any other Senshi or Knights was hard in and of itself, then the odds for finding a Knight the same type as you are was even lower. "So he would be very happy to meet up with you and chat with another Polaris Knight."For a moment, after Iðavöllr said she had come out for a different reason than the flowers, Larissa stared at them and then turned back to the Knight. "I'm glad you can see them too. I don't know anyone who doesn't enjoy at least a bit of nature, especially a sight as beautiful as this one. Even if it is unusual." She said with a small laugh. She moved closer to the Knight. "We can exchange information, and I'll pass yours along to my boyfriend."

Iðavöllr laughed again "Well that’s three or four more than me," she said, before frowning thoughtfully as she was reminded of her ghostly predecessor.
"Well I guess that there’s my predecessor" she admitted, because whilst Ragna was a ghost she was also the former knight of Iðavöllr so maybe that technically counted.
Maybe.
Or maybe not - but it wasn’t something that Iðavöllr had particularly tried to get her head around, especially as there were times when it felt that she was still trying to get her head around basic knighting.
She found herself laughing again at Larissa’s unusual comment, the rueful note back in her voice as she admitted "Unusual is kind of par for course in Destiny City" because she couldn’t think of any other place where flowers would grow so unnaturally fast. "But on the scale of Destiny City weird these particular flowers seem kind of minor" especially since said flowers weren’t trying to kill them.
"Not that I’m complaining" she added quickly, because Iðavöllr really didn’t want to tempt fate.
Her laughter softened into a smile at Larissa’s offer for them to exchange contacts and she nodded "I’d like that" she admitted.SSBrosB Apologies that this took me so long Bros, work has been pretty crazy lately

"I'm sure you'll meet more someday! Then maybe you guys can get some sort of meetup going! Or a chat thread. I'm so glad technology has advanced so far, though I wish we had something like chatrooms for Senshi and Knights on all of our stuff. Maybe if I find a Mauvian I can suggest it to them." She said, frowning slightly at the thought of it not having happened yet. However she handed over the information for the private email for Jason and his powered name so that Iðavöllr could contact him. "I'll let him know that he might be hearing from you! He'll be so excited." She said, giggling at the image. She looked around once again. "Yeah, unusual is pretty usual here, but at least this isn't a bad unusual. I hope." She certainly didn't want to hear about the flowers becoming meat eaters suddenly. "It's getting a bit late, but I'm glad to have met you Iðavöllr. We'll need to meet up again sometime!"
