Nature’s Boon (10) : Flowers are blooming at an incredible place across the city and sometimes barren patches of grass can be overrun with flowers overnight. There have been heavy showers and a high pollen count but there doesn’t appear to be any other explanation. It is not uncommon to find trees with nearly double the leaves they usually have, with vines twisting up houses, flowers covering the front yard, or local fruits to have doubled in size. This isn't the first time Destiny City has seen such oddities, and there doesn’t seem to be any negative effects to this; scientists are questioning climate change. Or is it radiation??

Cinta generally admired the color flowers bring to the spring season. Spring was one of her favorite seasons, barring the excessive rain, of course. She loved smelling the sweet floral scents that would float throughout the verdant parts of the city. It made her days walking outdoors leisurely a lot more pleasurable. She also enjoyed the warmth and comfortable lengthening of the day. This meant that she would be able to bear witness to more fruitful days. For the past few years, she felt like spring blinked into existence and blinked away just based on how quickly it would come and go. So… to see a mass of flowers and overgrown trees and shrubbery suddenly one day easily took her breath away. Just a mere few minutes ago, she just left her house to pay a visit to the library to return some books and maybe do some studying, but now, her eyes couldn’t turn away from the verdant nature around her. Just how was that possible, and in this season, no less?

“Oh my… this sight is simply beautiful! And quite… unusual at this time of year… hasn’t spring long left already?” she softly uttered to herself while she leisurely strolled on the sidewalk. However, in the back of her mind, she couldn’t help but find this situation rather strange. And, she hoped that nothing strange would entangle her into trouble, which actually hasn’t been much of a problem. Even after having awakened years ago to be a senshi aligned with the Order, Cinta hasn’t engaged in many turbulent events in her life. She has tried to patrol here and there, but due to her seemingly natural avoidance of trouble, she has managed to spare herself from battle or conflict that would jeopardize her life. As a result, her days flew by and now she’s a high school student getting ready for higher education. With that being said, that sort of matter is for later. For now, she would like to enjoy the rest of her stroll.

To that end, Cinta tried to convince herself that nothing was out of the ordinary and that there was nothing to worry about. For one, she was no stranger to walking into strange events. Secondly, it was almost like seeing an old friend again, but it certainly does feel excessive. After all, it seems that the vines that made some residential walls their home have made the rest of the naked wall their territory for the taking. Cinta bit her lip and quickly turned her head away, pretending that she saw nothing of the unusual, but she did wonder if anyone who lived there would have noticed the strange phenomenon by now. Instead, she decided to focus on the noticeably out-of-season flowers such as azaleas on the shrubs ahead.

Wow… these azaleas are definitely as pretty as the ones in spring… if not a bit more larger than what I can recall,’ Cinta thought to herself before freezing. iHuh… are those roses? Wait what... The library is also… covered in roses?

Cinta’s jaw dropped in awe. The building looked very pretty, being covered by a wide array of roses and vines and all that, but really, this was very unusual and utterly strange. Fortunately, the entrance remained available and so are a number of windows, some open for some air, thankfully.

“Well… in the event I get trapped inside the library, maybe my powers will be useful and protect me from harm,” Cinta sighed in the end as she entered the library, ready to complete her objective and self-study.
