Recently, an old power plant has been renovated and updated and just opened for business–but now people have been claiming dizziness or fatigue when in the area. Not to mention the animals. So far one shady, blurry video has been posted online of a strange bear-shaped humanoid ‘monster’ in the area. It’s difficult to tell if it’s a hoax or not, but whether or not you believe it, it might be a good idea to keep your eye out if you’re in the area. Especially because if you pass through, you feel like something’s watching you. It doesn’t have an aura so it can’t be a youma, but if you poke around too late at night you might find a strange creature that's built like a bear, covered in fur, but which has a strangely human presence. Something about it is just off--or, maybe it’s just your imagination. Maybe it’s just someone in a costume having a bit of fun at your expense. Still, its claws are sharp and it’s fast. When it runs through the forests, the trees seem to crack upon impact, and if you explore during the daytime you might find strange scratches and odd markings in the grass. The longer you’re in the area, the dizzier you get. Note: If you choose to encounter the strange creature, your character will recognize that it is not a youma. The creature seems smart enough to understand human words but does not respond and does not seem to listen. It will always disappear before it can be caught or gravely injured. This RP can be used as a battle requirement for a character, separate from your ‘one youma battle’ per stage if there are two powered characters involved; you cannot write a solo and count this as a battle, and your character must be powered and interacting with another player’s powered character for it to count. This can only be used as a battle requirement once per character, but there is no limitation for how many times a player can use this prompt.

Coco had heard about problems from a power plant dizziness, fatigue sounded a lot like nega meddling to her so she decided to go investigate. After all if it was radiation poisoning she would think they would be a lot sicker and then there was the creature that sounded very much like a youma to her. As soon as she entered the woods she felt like something was watching her. She was careful with her movements she didn't want to get herself killed while investigating this situation. She felt funny being in the area so she knew she couldn't stay long.

Bellalunae was out exploring the old power plant. She had heard it had been renovated and since then people had been claiming fatigue and dizziness. Now she didn't really care to much about others problems. But this situation screamed haunting and her imagination was reeling. She needed all the inspiration for her new horror book she was writing. She pressed on, determined to find the source of the mysterious symptoms. As she reached the entrance, a chill ran up her spine. She was sure that she was going to find something that would make a great ending for her book. As she walked along she didn't notice anything too special just power plant stuff. This inspiration hunt was not going how she planned. "Well this is boring," she thought as she turned the corner and heard something growl. So of course she ran straight towards the growl, not even thinking it might get her into trouble. All she cared about was the story. She rounded the corner and saw what looked to be a huge black bear at least at first sight. It was a magnificent sight and she was mesmerized. Maybe she had found some inspiration after all unknowingly.

Coco was shocked when she found Bellalunae with some sort of mutated black bear, it wasn't a youma she was able to tell that right away despite what the stories had said. They only had their one use a day star power as far as Coco knew they had to be careful so they wouldn't be killed by this bear. "Careful Belle that thing is huge!!" Coco called out and then she went to climb a tree she figured she would be in a better position to jump on the bear and scratch it than trying to fight it on the ground. "Perhaps if we hit it with the star blast together it will run away and we can get out of here?" She suggested. She hadn't been expecting something like this. She thought she would figure out what the thing was and then go find a knight or senshi to help her defeat the creature. She was now worried since Belle was in danger and this was no longer a scouting mission. They would have to fight there way out of here. Since Coco didn't want to risk running and failing to be faster than the bear. That would not be a good situation.

Bellalunae nodded as she listened to Coco and thought her plan was good for her. Now she may use a different attack, but as long as they attacked at the same time they should be good. She quickly turned and ran a little bit. As soon as she got far enough back she ran right back to the beast. "Mauvian Claws," she yelled as she quickly attacked the hairy beast. She hoped her claws plus Coco would be enough. Since honestly she wasn't prepared for a battle today, but she refused to allow her or her friend to get hurt today. Plus if this was the beast that was lurking around this area who knew what it might do if she left it here. Quote: Mauvian claws alone are generally stronger than cat claws, this enhancement gives them a little extra to fight with a small magical effect that activates when their claws come in contact with a target; the effects can last for ten seconds if the Mauvian is in their natural form

Coco jumped down and clawed the bear as well, she thought this was a crazy idea she thought it would be better for them to use their star attack but it seemed that Bella disagreed and there wasn't time to argue about this. She did her attack and then she jumped back narrowly dodging a claw swipe. "We need to get out of here this is too dangerous for us, this is a real bear not a youma." So it wasn't going to turn to dust and there was no way she could think of that they would be strong enough to kill a mutant bear. They needed to run away and fight another day. She huffed a breath and used her star attack so they could run away. She hoped Belle would listen to her and they could escape together. She was really worried since the other guardian seemed like they were very brave and a little foolish at times. She hope they wouldn't be too foolish in this moment since this wasn't like the fireflies this was really dangerous. Certain not just a little shock if they got hit by those claws.

Bellalunae noticed that thanks to both their attacks they dazed the beast. This would give them time to run away. As much as she felt the urge to destroy this beast she knew that may not be the smartest idea. If they stayed to fight it, they didn't know what other beasts may be attracted by the sound of their battle. This could lead to a much more difficult fight and put them in even more danger. This decision to run away was not made easily, and she hated doing it. But she wasn't willing to risk getting her friend injured. She watched Coco do her star attack and then she turned and ran. "Let's go. If we head this way while they are dazed we should be able to get out of here quickly!" She yelled at Coco as she hurried away. She ran as fast as they could, not looking back until they were a safe distance away. She wasn't even paying attention to the time she was running, but before long she noticed the hairy beast was nowhere in sight. Not only that but her small legs were starting to ache. She took a moment to catch her breath and stopped to look around. "Well that was close," she said as she turned to speak to her friend "Thank you for your help, and are you okay?"

Coco ran off with Belle and she sighed when they were safe "Yes I am fine, that was close." She said with a nervous laugh. She spotted a star charm on the ground she decided to collect. "Are you alright?"

Bellalunae was glad they had both gotten out of harm's way in time. She was relieved they were safe, but something about that beast still tugged at her. "I'm glad you are okay, and I'm alright too," she said with her mind lost in thought. That beast gave her some creative ideas for her horror story. The ideas were flowing so vividly she needed to get home right away to write it all down. As she turned to leave she noticed a star charm and picked it up. "Well thank you for your help with that beast, and hopefully next time we meet it won't be under crazy circumstances." She smiled and said goodbye before walking away. As she walked away, she looked up at the sky, the star charm still in her hand. She smiled to herself, grateful for the small reminder that sometimes friends could help her.
