[ Suria 1 ] It had been a few weeks since Suria had arrived in Baun, and she couldn't stop thinking about the wayward Radaku. Last she heard, the traders had given up their hunt, accepting the creature had disappeared into the wilderness never to return. Clearly they were upset as they wandered to their next spot, but she herself was eager to take advantage of the situation. She knew from experience that this was an opportunity. An opportunity to catch a creature many hadn't seen. And a pretty one at that. Nuri would be proud at her ambition, though if she were honest she just thought it was pretty and hoped it would be easy to capture. However, she needed a guide, a professional. And so she posted on the local community board what she was looking for. If they didn't show up, she might just go on her own. But today, she was waiting on a bench lounging in the sun.

Normally Lynx didn't respond to board postings since he could find plenty of work in towns but this one had caught his attention. It seemed like an honest plea for help in finding a beast so he figured he would check it out before deciding. Worse came to worse he could always turn them down if he thought the job too dangerous or not worth his time. Since he might be going after another beast he only brought two of his own with him, his Janarim to carry his bags and his Loatoa for tracking. Of course the two had other uses as well but those were the most relevant for the current situation. He made his way toward the place mentioned on the posting and looked around for the person he was supposed to speak with.

[ Suria 2 ] The day was still young, but Suria was impatient and she wasn't sure how much longer she would wait. Maybe it was the heat, or just the desire to keep busy, but the Oban hybrid found herself preparing to stand up and move away from her place. That was until she caught sight of a man unfamiliar to the area. He was a hybrid much like herself, with dark skin and brighter hair, and had a few beasts at his disposal. She found herself hopeful at the sight of him, curious too and wondering if someone was finally answering her posting.

When he spotted another hybrid with a darker complexion like him he felt his eyes drawn to them. Mostly because he'd mistaken her for his own family member out of the corner of his eye, though that thought was rectified once he focused on her. A slight tilt of his head to the left had him pausing to think before he patted his Janarim on the neck and murmured for him to stop. The beast easily obeyed and stood tall and still, waiting for farther instructions. With the larger of his two beast companions stationary he made his way over to the girl. "Excuse me.. are you the one who posted looking for help in taming a beast?" He hoped he had the right person otherwise this may turn out to be a slightly awkward conversation.

[ Suria 2 ] As he finally approached her smirk became a beaming smile, and she nodded at his question. "Yes, I'm so glad someone finally responded. Not too mean tamers in this part of Matori..." She murmered the last part, bright eyes considering a moment before shaking her head, "Thank you so much, the name is Suria." She took a moment to appraise him before her, deciding he did seem legitimate at least considering his Janarim, "That's a beautiful beast you've got there."

He had caught the last bit of what she'd murmured, though only just barely. Lynx was used to his siblings saying stuff under their breath to avoid being in trouble with their parents. It made his mouth twitch into a slight smile. "I'm Lynx, nice to meet you." At the mention of his Janarim he turned his head to look back at the creature. Said best was simply standing patiently with a bored look on his face. "Thank you." As he turned back to Suri he took a second to look her over before he decided to ask some questions. "Would you mind telling me a bit more about the beast you are looking for? Possibly where you last saw it?" If he had more information then he would be able to tell her a definite yes or no on whether it was doable. Not to mention he could make some kind of game plan.

[ Suria 3 ] She nodded once at his request, considering the last time she had seen the Radaku. " I was traveling from Oba with a group of sellers. They had caught a few Radaku back in Jauhar, but underestimated the difficulty of taming an adult beast. Right when I arrived, one got out and went into the bush." She paused as she recalled the event, " It was near the entrance of the village, where most come in from Oba..." It was a wild creature, but a seasoned tamer understood what was needed with such an act. Hopefully he was experienced enough to be willing to take on the task.

He listened to her as she explained the situation in full to him. Knowing that it was an adult radaku that she was after made a difference. Usually they were set in their ways but most could be calmed down with a bit of kindness. "Can you tell me a bit about it's disposition? Was it pacing and growling? Was it quiet and watching? Was it alright with someone getting close to it?" All of those questions would determine how he handled it. "Catching the beast won't be too much of an issue. I just need to know which approach to take as far as taming it goes." Some were easy enough with a snack or two. Show that you were willing to provide for it and it settled. Others needed to be shown that you weren't a threat and were more like pack. He'd learned that over the years.

[ Suria 4 ] Her bright eyes were focused as he asked his questions, excited to see someone who was a seasoned tamer at work. He reminded her a bit of her father with his thoughtfulness, and the questions he asked were reassuring. She found someone who had a good connection with the animals, and wasn't one who saw them as a means to an end. Her shoulders relaxed now that she was confident he could help her save this creature. " Oh hum..." He paused a moment to consider. " It really just seemed keen to get out and away. It had been in a cage for so long, it was spooked and just wanted to get some freedom. It didn't help the traders were screaming and yelling as it raced off."

Well that told him a bit about what to expect when he got near the beast. As well as how to handle it when taming. Lynx turned toward his janarim and reached for one of the many packs it had on its back. He rummaged for a short period of time before pulling out a treat that most beasts liked. He pulled a small piece off and offered it to Banshee, grinning as the animal took it after a sniff. When he looked back at the girl he nodded his head in the direction the radaku had gone. "I take it you want this creature for yourself?" Lynx was curious to know if she planned to keep it or if she was going to gift it to someone else. As he waited for her answer he grabbed a bit of other gear as well so he'd be able to capture the beast. Once he had that in hand he looked toward where she said she had last spotted it. Tracking it would be the hardest part really.
