Since he was gonna be going on a trip to look at some beasts he figured he might as well take his little sister along with him. Of course he’d gotten permission from his parents to take her along. It wouldn’t do to just kidnap his own sibling. Though the thought was a funny one he wasn’t too keen on the consequences that would have with his mother.

She clung to her brother’s pant leg as they walked through the streets. Her head was like a swivel, going left and right to try and take in all the sights. Of course when the crowd got thicker her grip on her brother tightened. Ryshanion wasn’t as outgoing as her older siblings were.

He felt the grip on his pants tighten, mostly because the fabric pulled a little more. So he looked down at his sister with a raised brow. “What’s wrong?” He figured that she might have seen something that scared her or there was something making her uncomfortable.

When her brother’s voice reached her she looked up at him with a confused look at first, but then she realized what she’d done. “Nothing. Just.. there’s lots of people.” Her head went back down so she could look around without straining her neck to do so. “Why is there so many?” She asked. Was it some sort of festival or event that she didn’t know about?

He hummed and nodded his head. So that was it. The amount of people bothered her. He smiled a bit and looked around. There were a good number out. But to him this was normal. “They are all out shopping. They need or want something from the shops so they come out to get them.” He answered her as best as he could. After all it wasn’t like he knew the individual needs of each person around them.

She pressed her lips together in a straight line, clearly not impressed with people needing to shop. “Do they all need something at once?” In her opinion there were too many people out. Why did they all decide that they needed to go to the shop right now? Why not wait or go earlier? Ry shifted so that she could be closer to her brother’s leg.

Seeing that she didn’t like the crowd and was moving in closer to him he slowed down before fully stopping, looking around them to make sure they were in no one’s way. Then he looked at her and offered both of his arms for her. “Do you want me to carry you? Would that be easier?” He wasn’t above spoiling his little siblings. Just because Iexa got picked on didn’t mean the little ones did.

When her brother stopped she looked up at him, worried that something was wrong. But as he offered his arms she was quick to reach up before he spoke. Of course she nodded her head at his question. “Yes.” Who wouldn’t want to be carried around?

He lifted her up into his arms and adjusted her so that she was sitting on his left hip. Once she was there he looked around at the crowd before he decided which way he was going. With having to stop he got turned around a little but it was easy to figure out where the beast pens were.

She instantly held on, her arms going around his neck until she was situated. When he started to walk she moved her arms from his neck to his shoulders, which was more comfortable for him and easier for her. It also allowed her to look around a bit better. “What are we looking for?” She was curious as to why her brother wanted to go shopping.

“Well, I wanted to see what new beasts they brought to the market.” Of course he knew there was the usual animals that were brought in but he’d caught wind that there might be some uncommon ones to be seen. Lynx was actually hoping that he could find a rare coloring that would be nice to have.

“Why?” As far as she knew her brother had plenty of animals. He was really good at training them too. All the ones he had were nice and would play with her and her twin brother. “Do you not have enough?”

He chuckled a little. “I have enough, yeah. But no one said I couldn’t have more.” He glanced at her as he continued to walk. “You like all of them right? What if I got a little one for you?” He had thought about getting his younger siblings beast companions, though he needed to know how they felt about it.

She thought about it. She supposed he could have more. There was no rule against it. At least not one she knew of. Their mother certainly hadn’t said as much and everyone knew what she said was law in the house. As Lynx asked about getting one for her she frowned a little. “I don’t want a big one though.” She’d seen his Janarim and the thing was huge compared to her.

“Noted.” So no big beastie for his little sister. He supposed that made sense. She wasn’t all that keen on the bigger animals anyways. She’d always been more into the smaller, cute ones. “What if we look for a little one that is cute and maybe fluffy?” Or at the very least snuggable.
