Midway through the King of the Canvas PPV, the people at home are greeted with a rather unusual scene for a pro wrestling show. It shows four men dressed in various and vibrantly coloured robes, sitting around a large wooden table. In front of each of them are collections of dice trays with different shaped and coloured dice, sheets of paper with pencils, and one of the sitting at the head of this table.
The man heading the table wore green attire, and was looking over some of his notes. He looked at each of the men at the table, then breathed in deep and spoke.
"Zayliss, the Soaring Dragon swoops in with his men and takes down the hero, Nuke Fusion. You watch as Hiro tries to come to his aid, but is taken out as well. Drako stands over all, showing his dominance."
Aeyre turned to Zayliss, who was deep in thought. The wizard, dressed in robes, queried something.
"Dungeon Master, Aeyre.. when Drako faced Hiro, what happened to his men? Did they stay and fight?"
Aeyre looked at his notes and then back to the group, relaying information.
"The Soaring Dragon's men, known as The Syndicate, went off on their own. They battled another group, named Power, and defeated them in battle. It looks like they line up against The Savage Sons next."
The largest man at the table then spoke, slamming his fist on to the table and almost knocking things everywhere.
"Savage Sons are strong, they will defeat The Syndicate."
Zayliss replied back to him, "Whilst we cannot discount the Savage Sons, The Syndicate are looking unbeatable at the moment. It would take a force of enormous power and strategy to bring them down. It may even take an allied faction to really get to them. What do you think, Noko? Can they be defeated?"
The camera pans to Noko, the monk dressed in hues of bright orange, followed by darker brown and black colours. He looks at his allies, and then shakes his head.
Gruk stands up at this point and goes to punch the table, but holds back at the last moment, showing some restraint.
"Gruk smash Syndicate. Gruk easily smash Soaring Dragon. But Gruk believes in Nuke, believes in Drako's enemies. They will win."
Aeyre speaks up again, he almost had to get up to stop Gruk from destroying the table.
"It would seem as if these Dragons are running rampant, and what better than for a group of adventurers to join the battle?
Gruk, Noko, Zayliss.. you find yourself in this Dungeon, ready for battle, and prepared for whatever comes your way. After defeat to The Syndicate previously, stay resolute and things may change.
At Vengeance, we will return. We will face whoever steps in front of us, and begin our journey towards defeating the Dragons."
The camera panned out as their voices muted whilst they talk amongst themselves. They were seen rolling dice, cheering, and putting their hands on their heads, really getting in to a game.
The camera pans left to show a sign in the background.
