Hobbies:
"It's so sweet, isn't it?" -- Baking Pastries -- Perhaps it’s unfair to call this her hobby these days with her working on making it her full-time work, but Anming is pursuing her love as work and she thinks it’s a beautiful thing. Pastries, cute little frosted designs, and delicious filled sweets are all things that almost universally bring smiles to people’s faces, and that is really all she wants to do. She has a considerable collection of cookbooks, and her bookmarks of recipes in her browser are a bit... excessive, perhaps. Anming thinks her father is proud.
"You were listening?" -- Piano -- Anming has been interested in the piano since she was little, fascinated with watching her father play and also the famous pianists on television. She did enroll in lessons, and she took well to the instrument, but her stage fright and self-consciousness prevented her from going any further with it. As a way to calm her nerves and self-soothe, she has taken it back up, but... primarily on her own. If anyone caught her, she’d probably freeze!
"Be careful with those, okay?" -- Glass Figurines -- She has a display case (or two) in her bedroom filled with the little figurines she finds at craft shops, at local artisan shops, at the mall, at amusement parks, and even one or two abandoned in a thrift shop. Anming loves them and how colorful and ornate finely crafted glass can be. While she does have all sorts in her collection, the graceful and delicate--but not fragile--butterflies and hummingbirds take up a significant portion of her collection.
Virtues:
"Mind Your Manners." -- Polite -- Anming was brought up to be mindful of her manners, and to be respectful to her elders. She does her best to uphold these lessons when interacting with others, not just in saying her ‘pleases’ and ‘thank yous’, but in the way she presents herself and goes about her day-to-day life. She believes in the concept of treating others the way she would want to be treated and tends to go out of her way to avoid acting in a way or saying anything that could be construed as being impolite, or rude.
"Anyone Could Have Done That..." -- Modest -- Anming tends to be humble, not accepting praise or compliments for her actions or words. If one insists, she'll just downplay them. She was just doing what should have been done, after all. She wasn't the one who made this hair tie, no need to compliment that. Anming does her best to direct the attention off herself, happy to do everything she can to help, but politeness has ingrained in her to at least thank people for their compliments.
"I Can Help With That!" -- Helpful -- Anming feels a strong sense of duty to assist others and help them in any way she can. It may simply be born out of a desire to make herself useful, but she dislikes seeing others struggle alone. Whether it’s a subject in her element, such as baking, or related instead to her multilingual-ness, like helping with translating things for the international students studying abroad at DCU, Anming always does her best to assist to the greatest extent possible.
Flaws:
"Oh, I, uh--" -- Self-Conscious -- Anming worries a lot about what other people think of her. While she's a bit more confident in her life path now, she still feels like an imposter--are her pastries good enough for the attention? She tends toward insecurity as a rule even if she never voices those things aloud. Anming can sometimes be overbearing and insistent on helping others even if they don't necessarily need it; it's a way for her to show that she can be useful, even if she doesn't need to prove that. It's easy to fluster her, too; Anming does not take compliments well and will tend to deflect them, even if she does say thanks. Thanking, after all, does not require personal belief.
"... Can't We All Get Along?" -- Conflict Averse -- Anming, and therefore Minkowski, does not like conflict in any part of her life. She doesn’t want to fight, not wanting to hurt anyone, and doesn’t want anyone to get hurt as a result of her actions, whether that be physically, emotionally, or mentally. She rarely powers up in general as a result, and would much prefer there not be any kind of war. It does, also, leak into an inability to stand her ground and stand up for herself or even for others in a tense situation with conflict. What if she says something wrong? What if she makes the situation worse? What if--
"That's Where That went!" -- Disorganised/Distractable -- Don't let the sweet mask fool you, she is arguably a hot mess. Anming spends a lot more time than she'd like to admit even doing things like relocating her cell phone, which might make her late to respond to a colleague or a friend when they needed her help, and oh no was she just proving that she was unreliable and-- It can lead to an anxious spiral if she's not careful, and in all honesty that just makes it worse as she grows more flustered. It is also rather hard to get her to sit down and focus. Like the butterflies she loves, she's just as flighty.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Dark brown, monolid and slightly slanted
Hair: Dark brown, hip length and usually kept in a simple updo or braid! Makes it easier to stick in a hair net if needed, too...
Face: Thin face, with a round facial structure
Skin Tone: Pale
Body Type: Petite, lithe, and short in stature at 4’11”. She thinks she takes up about as much space as needed, really...
Clothes: She primarily wears skirts and dresses, though she can be caught in capris and flowy pants on warmer days. Blue and grey are her favorite! Accessories aren’t something she bothers with too much, though she does love a cute decorative hair tie.o3

Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: "Butterfly Kisses!"
Summons a swirl of ethereal butterflies around herself or an ally, healing minor damages, such as shallow cuts and bruises, relieving the pain associated with these injuries as well. The butterflies last for around twenty-five seconds, and Minkowski can call them up to three times per battle.
(Usage: Thrice per battle
Duration: 25 seconds
Range: 5ft radius around target)
Super Sailor Scout Attack: "Butterfly Healing!"
An upgrade of her first attack, the butterflies are able to heal up to moderate wounds, such as deep bruising or some cuts, but it cannot heal anything serious or life threatening. They relieve the pain associated with these injuries as well. The butterflies last for up to thirty seconds, Minkowski can call upon them for up to twice per battle.
(Usage: Twice per battle
Duration: 30 seconds
Range: 10ft radius around target)
Eternal Sailor Attack: "Restoring Cocoon!"
Minkowski summons the butterflies one last time, who come together to create a magical silk cocoon, which encases an ally or Minkowski, that has the potential to heal even further than her first two attacks, though it cannot heal anything life-threatening or otherwise fatal; it can only speed up the healing process enough to where the subject in question can survive long enough to seek medical help. The cocoon is thick enough to where any attacks from enemies can’t reach through it, but, while the cocoon is in place, the person being healed cannot move or attack. Additionally, while the person inside is protected from attack, the cocoon itself can still take damage and fall apart prematurely, before the magic can reach its full healing potential. Otherwise, the cocoon lasts for forty-five seconds, and Minkowski can use this once per battle.
