This time of year is unnaturally clear and it’s incredibly easy to see the stars. Most meteor fragments appear to be little white or yellow lights streaming across the sky, but if you watch closely enough you may find that some of them seem to be a whole rainbow of colors. The scientists have reported that it’s just different components burning up as they enter the atmosphere, but there’s something undeniably magical about it. Sachio was leaning up against a tree in the park that he had asked Eunkyung to meet him at. Tonight was supposed to be the meteor shower and considering that it had been a bit since they had gone on another date, he suggested watching it with her on a blanket in the grass, a bit away from where everyone else was gathering. It wasn't an original idea, but it sounded romantic if not at the very least interesting to look at. It wasn't often one got to see such a sight. And he wanted to enjoy it just as Sachio and Eunkyung. While he had been neglecting his magical duties in favor of his civilian studies, this wouldn't have been the night to go out and power up anyway. The Negaverse usually didn't attack during the summer, so he decided to take the chance and just enjoy the night with his girlfriend.

Life had gotten away from her as she'd been busy, undeniably so, with university and working the part time job she had. She hadn't had much time to power up, a shame really, nor had she had a lot of time for her relationship with Sachio though he thankfully did understand things. Tonight though she was done with her classes for the semester, and she wasn't taking anything for the summer, so she was free to meet him for a date, something they hadn't had in a while.
The excitment of spending time with Sachio, especially for a meteor shower, had Eunkyung gathering what she needed to meet him out in the park to watch the heavenly show. She had packed some food, light things to nibble on, and drinks as well as a blanket incase it got cold. It wasn't the warmest of nights so she had a scarf and light sweater on along with a skirt that was on the warmer side. She'd come prepared as she arrived and started her search for the other.

Sachio could have sworn that even without his powers he could sense her prescence and began looking around to see if he could find her. In short order he managed to recognize her and moved away from his tree to meet with her. "Eunkyung!" He said, briefly jogging over to her with a grin on his face. "You look amazing." He said. Even if they were both casually dressed, he still thought she glowed in the moonlight. "I think I found a good spot for us." He said as he offered to take a few things from her hands so that he could hold one of hers. Soon he led them to a spot on the grass that didn't have anyone else in sight but had a clear view of the sky all around with just a few trees here and there. He made sure that the blanket was properly laid out before he held his hand out to her to join him on it. "I'm glad that we can just be together without anything else going on for once." He said with a chuckle.

Offering him the basket, while she still held onto a blanket, Eunkyung was happy when he took hold of her now freed up hand. "Thank you, you look good as well." He always did though, Sachio always looked handsome, and she was lucky for the relationship they had. "Show me where you found." Motioning with her head for him to lead the way, loose curls brushing along her shoulders and her back with the motion, as she let the other lead her to the place he'd found for them.
"You got lucky, I'm shocked no one else is aorund." Since so many people came to places like this to view the meteor shower. To find a place like this, with open space and an open view of the sky, it was shocking that no one else was here. She knew a lot of places were packed tonight. "I'm glad as well. There always seems to be something going on." So it was nice to find time to just enjoy, without having to power up or do any fighting, it was perfect like this. Setting her own blanket to the side as she sat down, waiting for Sachio to join her. "I brought this blanket incase we get cold." So they could keep warm and enjoy the show; it was big enough for three or four people.

Sachio grinned. "I hope we're able to use it." He said laughing a bit. He moved to sit down next to her, putting his hand on hers, moving so that one leg was out and the other had his knee pulled closer to him. He wanted to say something about finding the spot, but suddenly a thought of hope this place isn't filled with mosquitoes or something which is why everyone didn't come here entered his mind and he decided not to say anything about it. Time would only tell if they started to feel itchy. He nodded. "It's almost like a second job. I do feel that being a Senshi is "me" but also when it's like this, I also feel like I'm more true to myself. Like the Senshi part is a duty rather than something I truly am. Kind of silly considering I'm an Eternal already." He sighed and looked at her. "Not that I dislike it, and it certainly gives us more reasons to be with each other but it just seems strange still, you know? Or perhaps I'm just saying silly things." He gave her a sad smile as he moved closer to her, putting his arm around her shoulders. "I'm still glad we can be together though."

Feeling her cheeks warm Hamal couldn't help it really, as there were some implications to sharing a blanket when no one else was around, and in an effort to perhaps hide her flush cheeks she leaned over to kiss one of the others cheeks. "You did wonderful finding this place." No worries of people being loud or children running around; it would be peaceful.
"I think I understand what you mean. We might be senshi but that doesn't mean we have to be fighting all the time. I doubt that's what happened in the past anyway. We're also still human so fighting isn't something we should be comfortable doing, it's because we have to, so taking on a powered form and not having to fight is the best of both worlds." At least that's how she was understanding what Sachio was saying, and if that was it than it certainly made sense to her.
Leaning into his side, resting her head on his shoulder, the super senshi reached up and gently poked one of his cheeks. "Don't look like that; you look sad. We're here together, there isn't anything to be sad about. Maybe it's strange to be powered up and not having to fight, or be out on patrol, but it shouldn't be strange...even though it it. We should normalize it." Perhaps more dates while powered up to help with that. "We should spend more time together, powered and not."

He couldn't help but blush himself when she kissed his cheek. He was surprised though at what she was saying. She got exactly what he was thinking. He thought he fell in love with her more just hearing that. "Yeah, that's it. It's like attempting to be a fighter, live your own life, but then having to be a life that you don't know anything about that the majority aren't doing and you can't tell them." He sighed. "And I wish we could do more with our Homeworlds. It's sad to be the... latest? and only person that's there. But we can't even sustain ourselves for that long on them. Or at least I can't on mine." He let out a chuckle. "Just kind of this big responsibility that's always hanging in the background."He couldn't help but laugh when she poked his cheek. "You're right, you're right. I think that's part of it. We need to get together more, whether it's just doing normal activities or attempting to help save the world." Getting together with others would be good too. He was sure that part of the loneliness so many Senshi felt was from barely interacting with others. "I need to start patrolling again anyway, even if my schedule is busier than usual. I can't let that stop me though. And we can watch out for each other while we do so." He grabbed her hand with his and put his head on hers, as much as was possible. "It's a big respnsibility but it also feels hopeless. Like we'll never see life again, like there once was, we'll never see living people it feels like." That society there would never reform and rebuild. Yet it was a burden on their shoulders for them to try and push towards that while also living here - as people on Earth. This was where they'd been born and they needed to live their lives...otherwise they'd get so lost in rebilding and fighting that they'd age and die alone and having never really enjoyed life. It was a balance and one she didn't always enjoy walking.
Sometimes she honestly wanted to hide from the senshi side of things, and than she felt shame for it, at least Sachio understood though.
"Yeah, I think you're right and another date night would be good. We should do a few week month, just to help balance tghings a bit better for us both." Because this whole balancing act was not easy and she didn't just want to be a senshi. She wanted to live a normal, happy, fulfilled life on this planet like everyone else. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to talk about these things with someone; with Sachio, because he seemed to understand and she was always best at being honest. She was didn't like to lie and didn't often do that. She was blunt and honest.
"Sometimes, I don't want to do anything powered at all. It feels like all we do and all we try gets us nothing. Like drops in a bucket." Smiling she gave his hand a gentle squeeze and let her eyes drift closed. This was nice though, this was what being human was about. This was what she wanted to live for.

"Yeah... we can only do what little we can. I would just hope that, even if our Homeworlds do not get close to having civilizations like they once did, we can at least kickstart some other life on it." And then he could only hope that they would be reincarnated, that their starseeds would not have been destroyed in some way before that happened. He knew it had already happened to plenty of others. He didn't want to know the number. "Especially for one Senshi. I guess the Royals have it a bit easier in that Knights can help cultivate their Homeworlds." He said with a chuckle. "Good, that will give me motivation to go out and do more besides studying and being a Senshi. We can have fun planning them and when we're out on those dates, we can just... enjoy life." He rubbed her hand a little with one of his fingers. And then he just let the silence rest upon them for a while. Hey may not have known what exactly life was for, but in this instance he was certainly enjoying it. The silence, the surroundings, smells, his girlfriend, everything. They both needed breaks like this. Just to remember that there was a life outside of what they were doing.

"If we can do that, kick start life, than perhaps it won't backslide far between us passing away and someone else being woken to take our place." Such a morbid topic to some but it was the truth and honest. Someone would, hopefully, take their place and she could only hope the time which would pass between both things would not be too long. That some life would still be there and the next Hamal could work on things from there and get the place further along. It might take several generations to get it to human life but she could hope it would happen eventually.
"Do we even assume each following generation, leading up to it being capable of human life, will be born here? We could leave notes and letters to them if so." Because then, with any hope, the languages would be the same or something they could learn and look up - like google translate.
"Yes, even if it's just one part, it does help because more people are involved. It's sad but not all of us, or even most of us, will ever get there. We have to do this on our own." At least this time around. Maybe in a few generations someone named Hamal would become a royal and would have help - would have knights. She knew she'd never get there and she was ok with it, even if the help would be nice.
"Mmm, we can do a few space dates also, to help our homeworlds and visit them." She added softly, giving his hand a light squeeze. It would be a nice idea for a date, in her opinion, as it was something they both had in common and it wasn't fighting or war related, it was more peaceful and easy going. It was a shame that they, the them here and now, wouldn't be there to see their homeworlds attain human life support. Their souls, their starseeds, might be there but not the them who werIt was sad in a way even if a piece of them would be there for it. She just hoep they would both make it there - to see it happen.
"We could even write to those who will come after us, joint letters, we could tell them of our relationship and to work together in the future. We could try and get them to one day form an alliance, once both planets reach the point they'd once been at. We can't do anything now, an alliance doesn't do anything, but in the future it will." It would, with any hope, be ebenfical to both planets and the people living on them both. "We might as well try and help the future while were here trying to build out planets. it'll just be us doing the same thing but from beyong the grave in a way." Plus it was sweet in a way, something she liked the idea of. Their future selves could grow to be friends, maybe more, maybe families would be tied together. All sorts of possabilities.

Sachio nodded. "Exactly. As much as it feels like we won't be able to do much in our lifetimes, we have a responsibility to at least help those who come after us. Or at least, I believe that we should feel that even a little goes a long way when it comes to restoration. I'm not even sure it would have to be humans that could come back, but leaving clues would be a good idea. Like a Rosetta stone. They probably didn't have time to do it on many Homeworlds before and probably didn't think they would need to. So if we could do it, then it's one step closer to bringing some more life back into the universe." He felt it was morbid too, but they had to face facts that someday they would no longer be there. He looked at her. "You know, for as morbid as this is, it's getting me a bit more excited to go back to my Homeworld. It's giving me motivation at least." He couldn't help but chuckle. He then sighed and looked back out to the sky. "We'll do something. I just know it. We could set little goals for ourselves for them."He paused for a bit. "I wouldn't mind that. We could see if we could give the other ideas or just clean up the place a bit. I know mine could use at least some dusting in some parts. And there are more levels I need to explore. You don't have to do that though. I would like to visit your Homeworld, see if we can't get some plants to grow or some way to sustain ourselves. I think that would be a good goal to strive towards."He squeezed her hand back. "I like your idea. It would give them something to strive towards as well. Start forming alliances and all of that." Suddenly he thought he heard something and for a moment he was silent. And then it appeared that the first firework shot off and he couldn't help but watch as it flew into the sky and burst into colorful light as it exploded. "Looks like the show is starting. Let's make sure to write these ideas down and then we can plan our next Earth date. Something to remind us that life here is good as well."

"I doubt they knew that they'd be reborn much less here. Depending on what happened, and when they died, they might have figured they'd be reborn there and so not need anything. But yes, a rosetta stone of sorts, though I don't know if we should do it in multiple languages." Especially since that could complicate things, especially since that meant using languages neither of them knew and translations being messed up. It would be best to use English and maybe one or two others if they went with that route.
"Yes, little goals. If we aim big it'll hurt when we don't make it. If we are reasonable and pace it, set realistic goals, we'll be good." They'd remain motivated and keep going, and keep doing things. It was, she felt, the only way to approach such a large, and impossible looking, task of bringing life back to their homeworlds. She was aiming for, generations down the line, human life and people being born there. It would happen, as it had once before, but when she didn't know. They had to lay the groundwork though.
"I've never even visited my homeworld...." She admitted after a moments hesitation. "I'm too nervous of what might be there. I just...even if it's nothing bad the idea of empty homes and buildings where people once lived and worked." Where life had once exsisted. The idea it was all gone, no remains even, it was terrible. That nothing living aside from nature remained. She couldn't read whatever might be left behind either. There was no way to find out what had happened.
"Yes, we can try and write ideas for ourselves and for future generations, we can add to the list as time goes on. As we set goals it might change the ideas we have for the future generations as well.
Looking up as the firework went off, lighting the sky in bright color, she turned her dark eyhes onto the light show above them. "Maybe we could leave pictures and notes on events in the pictures as well. I'd say video but I doubt the technology then will work with whatgever we leave that way. But physical pictures should work." Even leaving something like an ipad with photos and information, videos, she didn't think would work because how to charge it and use it. She doubted the tech would be the same, even if theyu included a charge cord. Though it was an idea as well.
Morbid this all was, but under the bright flashing lights, and with Sachiio at her side it didn't feel so bad. it felt like building a future for them both, and for the future generations. It felt like something solid and good. This would work; she was sure of it.

It seemed that the fireworks show was going on full force now, though Sachio made sure to pay attention to what she was saying and hugged her a little more tightly. "If you want, I can accompany you on your trip to your world. You did it for mine, I should return the favor. We'll get there, eventually." He said as he took a moment to admire the display that they were seeing. "Let's get those ideas down later. For now we can just enjoy being in the moment." At least a little while longer, before they had to go back to their lives, whether it was civilian or powered. They could just... be in the moment. Enjoying the sight before them. "We have each other. Together I'm sure we'll be able to do whatever we set our minds on doing."Sleet Tempest Snape Ending post from me!
