Kya 1
It was a fine summer day, he had finished the garden chores and stopped to admire the large house they had built, it was still somewhat coze because that was the asethetic he liked but it was now large enough to hold them and their children when they happened to come along. He was loving this year and his time with Fajra so much.

Fajra 1
After they had finished their house extension she had found herself more exhausted hen normal and had slept in after it was finished. She usually wasn’t one to sleep in to late but recently she had noticed a change and she wasn’t sure what it was. She blinked as Kya emerged from the sea “hm..,sorry..I’m a little distracted” she told him, she was trying to figure out what was going on with her. “Anything is good, I’m not picky, just hungry” she told him.

Kya 2
He felt her forhead which felt fine. "Okay I'll make scrambled eggs." He kept a small flock of poultry for this purpose and he enjoyed looking after them as well as eating the ones they didn't need. He got breakfast going and came back to sit with her. "If you are not sick, perhaps...perhaps our extracurricular activities may have born fruit? Not that I know all that much about it but well it is possible by now."

She thought back on their extracurricular activities and smiled fondly at it before looking at Kya. She thought about it some more and mentally listed what she was experiencing and if it was anything different from what she felt before. It was her first time feeling different and she wasn’t all to familiar with what one would go through if they were. After a few extra seconds of thinking and then letting out a surprised gasp of realization “I think you may be right” she said before smiling more at the prospect that their extracurricular activities may have bore fruit.

He grinned like a sunrise after the longest night of the year. "I guess we are going to a healer to confirm then?" He dug into his breakfast with gusto after he had given her hers. "I am so very excited. Can you believe it? We might be parents soon! " He wanted to dance but that wasn't such a good idea on a full stomach.

She beamed and placed her hands on her belly before looking at Kya “it looks like it” she said before smiling at Kya and then starting to eat the breakfast he had prepared for her. If that was the case that would explain why she was more tired and more hungry then usual. “I am excited too, and I’m looking forward to that journey with you and watching our kids grow up.” She wondered if there was a healer nearby that they could go see to confirm what both of them were thinking.

“I think there is a local lady not too far from here in the village we could go to.” She was old bit more than wffective still. “She has lots of experience or we could trek all the way to the ranch but they specialize more in critters than people.” Though they had collectively had enough kids they could probably tell just by looking now.

She nodded her head “we should go see her after we eat” she told him as she ate another serving of her scrambled eggs in front of her. She hummed thoughtfully “but, if it is what we think it is, we will be parents” she squealed happily.

Breakfast went well and then they were off at the healer. Ky wasnt allowed inside with her so he paced outside like any good potantially expectant father and nearly wore a hole in the ground as he did so. He hoped it was what they thought. He hoped she wasnt sock either though besides tiredness and increased apetite nothing else was wrong.

She sat down and waited for the healer to finish with the person before her. She lightly placed her hands on her belly as she waited a soft smile graced her features. She was both excited and nervous at the same time; just as the emotions appeared the healer called her in, she took a deep breath now was the moment of truth and she followed the healer.
After a few minutes passed she was sent out by the healer and confirmed what they were both thinking they were expecting and she couldn’t wait to tell Kya and she was eager to tell him so she rushed out to meet him and took a few seconds to watch him pace.

He looked up with a most hopeful expression on his face. "Fajra?" He asked, hoping she wasn't punking him with the hopeful look on her face as well. The wind blew and it felt like an eternity passed before she spoke. He felt balanced on a knife edge. Though if it was a false alarm they had all the time to try again. "Love?"

She looked at him once he got her attention before rushing to him to give him a hug “the healer confirmed what we were both thinking” she said and took both his hands and put them on her belly “Congratz! Handsome you are going to be a father!” She squealed excitedly.

He picked her up gently and twirled them both. His eyes were instantly watering and he buried his face in her neck. "I am just so excited. I can't believe it! We are going to be parents!" He looked at his hands resting there on her belly. "There is a baby in there." It felt like gravity had shifted, she had become his entire world. Then he felt a bit dizzy but still he was excited. "Congrats to you! You are going to be a Mom!"

She giggled lightly as he picked her up and twirled them. She beamed “I’m excited too” she told him before giving him a sweet kiss. “There is” she said thinking about the journey they were about to go on together with raising kids. She grinned “that i’am, I hope i do okay as a mother” she said a little worried.

"The secret is, as a Mom there is not one better to raise our kids than us, as they are a part of us and we know us really well. The important part so I'm told is to only take advice when you ask for it not when people intrude. Kids don't come with a manual, we will oft feel like we are doing it wrong but so far as we always chose the path we think out it is likely the right one."
"I'm worried too, but as I understand that part just never goes away."
