Ky 1
He had for once taken a break from gardening and was going for a swim. He traveled the well padded forest trail to the beach and was stunned by who he found there. "We really need to stop bumping into each other like this, but I don't want it to stop." He laughed and approached Fajra. The sun had just risen and it glinted merrily off of the sea.

Fajra 1
It was another beautiful day out for a swim. She blinked as she saw who was coming up the trail and walked towards him meeting him halfway “well, to be fair I wasn’t expecting you to be here either, but its a pleasant surprise” she told him.
She looked him over from head to toe getting slightly distracted “i would have thought you would be in the garden” she told him tilting her head to the side.

"Well occassionaly I come out of the garden, mostly for a swim, or to hunt for fish in the the reef. I do like the ocean I just like the garden a little more, but I never forget my roots."
She looked..well stunning acutally, and he got distracted from what he had been saying..funny he usually had excellent focus. He blinked and returned to the present.

“Ahh yes, you were fishing when we first ran into each other” she said thinking back on it. “They were some tasty fish too” she said before blinking a bit, to be fair it was the first time she had seen him in swim gear. It was maybe his second time seeing her in her swim gear. “So what brings you out to the beach today?” She asked trying her hardest not to stare at him too long..

"That is right, that was the first time." He paused. "I just felt like getting out, and seeing if the sea had any surprises for me and it turns out I ran into you, so I guess it did have a surprise in store. "Would you like to swim with me?" It was hot already and he needed to refresh after a long day yesterday.

She nodded her head “yup, it was” she said smiling fondly at the memory. “I hope I’m a good surprise” she quipped before looking towards the water and then back Kya “sure, i would love to go for a swim with you” she told him before heading towards the water “you coming?”

"I believe you are a great surprise." He had been hoping for an octopus not a friend so this was great. "Much better than I thought." He turned to her and smiled, "Come on lets go!" He took her hand gently and led her to the water. (If she let him anyway XD)

“Well, that is a relief to hear i was a little worried you were disappointed to see me” she letting out soft sigh. She giggled as he took her hand and led her ro the water. When he let her hand go she dove into the water after him. She swam around to get her body acclimated to the water’s temperature before resurfacing with her hair wet. “So refreshing”

"Naw it always makes my day better when I see you." He paused, feeling quite warm and fuzzy inside...maybe he was catching a fever?
"It is! I love the water, I get to enjoy my job and my free time, I don't know how people outside of Matori do it. I don't think I could leave even if I wanted to. Though growing in Jauhar might be fun, their critters terrify me. Besides my radaku who patrols my garden for vermin."
He dunked his head under then came up with a sigh.

She swam closer to him and started to tread water “ is that so? I’m glad to hear it” she said “well, seeing you also makes my day” she replied before a thought ocurred to her she was definitely seeing him in a different way that was new and unfamiliar, she could not put a finger on what it was and she hoped it wasn’t anything serious or to be concerned about. But whatever it was, it was making her feel all sorts of warm fuzzies.
“For me the water makes me feel relaxed and it allows me to get some excercise in. Though running into you made my visit to the beach so much better”

He grinned and swam around her, he had forgotten all about hunting for fish. His heart beat picked up and he didn't know why, but somehow the way she moved seemed to be causing it. "You are very graceful in the water, did you swim often in Tale? That is where you are from right?" He wanted to know more about her, wanted to know how she thought, what she liked to do and what her favorite foods were. He couldn't explain why. He swallowed suddenly nervous kind of? What was even happening?

She watched him swim around her as she treaded water. “Ah…thank you! You could say i did, it was a way to work off some of my high energy which is why i’m really relaxed right now” she told him and nodded her head “yes, that is correct. I’am from Tale” she told him. She tilted her head to side before swimming a tad closer to him “are you okay?” She asked him.
The closer she got to him the more nervous she was and the more flustered she felt, she was grateful she was in the water. She blinked as she started feel certain emotions rising to the surface, why was she suddenly feeling so warm and found herself staring into the yellow hues of his eyes.

Suddenly he blurted, “would you like to uh go on a date with me sometime?” All of a sudden the feelings made sense and before he could do anything about it he had asked her out in a mad rush. “Sorry I er Ive never felt well attracted to anyone before…”

Blinked in surprise as he blurted out his question, she smiled at him but now her emotions made sense “Kya, i would love to go on a date with you” she replied before giggling “ I could say the same for you, I haven’t felt attracted to anyone before either until now” she told him before interlocking her hand with his if he allowed her to.

He blushed dark purple when she took his hand but he bravely squeezed back, "I thought for a moment I was getting sick," he laughed. "But it was something that was completley new for us both. I'm so glad you came to Matori." They had continued to bump into each other, he wondered if it was fate trying to get them to realize what was right in front of them. She was his friend and now they might become even more. He was delighted and it felt like the day could not get better.
