Genevieve looked so…different. The bracelet that hid her ‘alien’ features was working as intended but…she looked so…wrong. Her ears were on the side of her head while she looked like this, and her tail and horn were just…gone. It wasn’t ideal, that was for sure but…if it would keep her safer and make sure that she could blend in. It…was important to blend in while in this Earth…people weren’t used to those who looked different, as sad as that seemed…but.

With a sigh, Genevieve reached her hands up and placed them on her ears. They were just so wrong and she hated it. Tears filled her eyes as they always seemed to nowadays but…she ignored them and went on taking a look at this new…everything she had to deal with. Honestly…it was all just too much. Everything that she was going through was too much, and though she had the help of Ganymede and those friends of Ganymede…she felt so lost.

Utterly lost.

Finally, Genevieve turned away from the mirror and wiped her eyes again, walking towards the door of her room. She looked human, now she just had to go and act human, which…was harder than it looked, but…she had some money and it would do her good to take a walk around the city. Maybe she’d find something tasty…it was worth a try at least. Honestly, it was only the lure of something delicious that made her venture out of the house and into the city…not that she didn’t have nice things to eat here, but…

That was the one thing she liked about this Earth. The foods were…interesting. Most of the time that was a good thing, but then there were a lot of questionable decisions made when it came to vegetables though…she supposed if the human’s liked it that way…

Yuck.

It was dark outside, and for a moment, Genevieve hesitated, remembering that it was always more dangerous to go out in the dark than it was in the daytime…but…she would be okay, if something bad happened…she had the phone…and she could make a call and get help! Easy enough.

So, with those thoughts in mind, Genevieve set out on her very first solo adventure into the city, excited to see what she could find…and even more excited to see what delicious foods she could come across. There had to be something…and when it was in her grasp, perhaps she could start to forgive Earth for being so strange…for making her look so strange. For making her have to hide herself…

Swallowing hard, Genevieve shook her head harshly and began walking. There was no need to think. Thinking only brought unhappiness…and right now, all she wanted was some sugar. She had no idea where to look but…she had all the time in the world, honestly. It wasn’t as though anyone was waiting on her to come home or…even cared if she did so.
