A battle breaks out between the United States' Alliance and the Nazi German remnant to defend the orphanage farms: .

The Winter Prince stabs his zanpakutou sword's blade into the ground, getting down into a kneel, and the battlefield is hit with a freezing winter, which doesn't touch the crops, though it does send the farm animals running indoors. Immediately, the Nazi Germans begin to be shivering, and hugging themselves. There's a "Bamf!" And, Azazel is pushed back in a flash by The Winter Prince's blade against his blades. Azazel attacks again as The Winter Prince flashsteps away in a blurred spin, then strikes through both of Azazel's swords, icing them into brittlety and slashing through them. Azazel then tries to teleport behind him, but he turns to face his teleportation to attacking from behind again, and flash-slides-on-ice out of reach, and kicks up against Azazel's chest, holding his blade close to Azazel's throat, it's chill nearly freezing him, before Azazel retreats, teleporting away with the other super and non-super soldiers. Azazel makes several attempts to kill The Winter Prince by surprise, but he's too predictable, and The Winter Prince is too fast, and too cold, so the Nazi's seem to give up. They make one last try, but The Winter Prince hits Azazel so hard with chill that he collapses onto his knees shivering uncontrollably despite being bundled up. The Winter Prince grabs the back of Azazel's collar, and drags him over an ice path he's forming to the house, keeping him cold. Once Azazel is inside, Diamond tells the Nazis, "I can't reach him. It's electrified."
Azazel cries by a fireplace while William Stryker is on the phone nearby, ordering arctic gear for the troops at Scarborough. Stryker tells the Winter Prince, "That was very effective." The Winter Prince: "But, did we finally save our ruler, or is it another of his guards?" The tall red bamf that looks to be Azazel says, "A guard."

The electricity goes out in the orphanage, and flashsteppers race around opening curtains and blinds while fighting. The Winter Prince does his best to disarm everyone attacking for the Nazis he can, using the martial arts he's been learning from school, while the United States soldiers do what they can to capture them. At that same time, Deadpool does his best to deflect gunfire from kids: . Eventually, most of those serving the Nazi German remnant are captured, with very few serious injuries, mostly of the Nazis.
More battling breaks out shortly after, with more teleporters to defeat in the mix, most failing to teleport inside from never having seen inside the building. The Winter Prince ends up back outside, chilling the area more severely than before because they're dressed more warmly. The Winter Prince surrounds the orphanage lands with a giant wall of ice while fighting. Ultimately, he has to choose to kill some crops by the outskirts.
Eventually, Tobago gets secured by the United States military against the onslaught.
The United States military go around, removing holograms from the enemy soldiers, looking for if people seem to be citizens on devil's breath, or if they're from Europe. Hazel melts the snow and ice around the orphanage grounds, making the place wet.

The Winter Prince is taken through a gate into Valefor Academy. He's handed his class schedule, and a school map, "We're a little late, but they'll know you were busy." The Winter Prince shortly after enters his first class, to smiles at his presence. They applaud him for a moment before the martial arts instructor speaks, "Alright, let's get to our lessons. But, you did very well for a severely injured beginner. You even managed to stay alive in your battle between heal factor and Draino poisoning." The Winter Prince smiles, and takes his place in class. They begin ninjutsu lessons.
The Winter Prince awakens in battle, and immediately starts fighting back, trying yet again not to kill the enemies, aiming to capture them: . The area gets blanketed in snow and freezing temperatures.
The Winter Prince flashsteps around, freeze-cutting weapons of the enemy and anyone supporting the enemy even if they're on devil's breath: .
