Jishui had made her mind up to find the Mauvian and when she began walking towards the aura, she wondered if she would know them. Most likely not, but as long as they had answers…she would be content.
Where was she. When was it. What was going on and why were there so many awful feeling auras around? That simply wasn’t natural.
She hadn’t understood what she was feeling, but she could tell that something was just…wrong.
Glancing from left to right, Jishui searched for the Mauvian that had the aura she was feeling but, she couldn’t see one…and she wasn’t looking down so she didn’t notice the fact that the Mauvian she was looking for was literally under her feet.
Gasping in surprise, the Senshi stumbled and tried to hop and ended up falling onto the ground, swiveling around to look at the black fluffy animal in front of her.
“...You are the Mauvian that I sensed. I am Jishui, can you please tell me where this is? It is not my planet…and what is the date? How long was I in stasis for? What are those awful auras that I was sensing? I do not understand what is happening.”
He would know. She was confident in that, he would know and be able to instruct her and all would be well.
Jishui’s softly glowing eyes focused for a moment on the skull he wore and she nodded in some approval. “I am going to assume you made that kill on your own. Good for you.”

Faust did not react to the near-miss that could have reduced him to a furry pancake. He said nothing when she first declared that he was the Mauvian she was looking for. In fact, he lay motionless on the sidewalk.
Then he stretched, meyawned, and grunted as he shook the sleep from his mind. He licked his lips. Then he blinked up at her, slowly, with no intention of moving from his spot or even shifting to a more presentable position. What stood before him looked like a normal a** senshi, from head to toe — some basic b***h awoken by some other Mauvian who damn near tripped over him and was probably asking him directions that the other Mau couldn't be asked to explain.
But when he actually started to listen to what she was saying, it sounded straight up batshit crazy. Just, the most lunatic-a** nonsense that he could've dreamt up after a three-day catnip bender. But she said it all with such conviction that Faust figured she was like Taiyi — one of those senshi from outer space.
Legit outer space. Not the poor assholes who were born here and inherited a planet. This b***h came from some other star and didn't know her a** from a barnyard right now.
So he yawned again. Then he answered, "You can call me Faust." He knew she meant to ask.
"An' this is Earth, capital E. Yanno, birthplace of Knights and that s**t. Year's 2023, but I dunno what kinda calendar you followed before or if that'll mean a damn thing to you." Finally Faust roused himself to his feet and stretched — first his front legs, then his back, and his tail nub twitched as if there was more to his spine than that. "An' what you're feelin'? All that nasty unwashed a** in the air? That's the Negaverse, and those damn sons of bitches keep tryna ******** people up n' steal their starseeds. So you got my permission to hand out a fresh asskickin' on sight.
"But I ain't got any idea how long you were in stasis for, Kid. You gotta gimme your story."

Jishui stared at the Mauvian, her eyebrows coming together in what was obviously something close to disdain. “I had been under the impressions that Muavians were something close to all knowing, I see that such has changed in my time…away.”
Still. This. “Faust” had some answers. She was on Earth, so that was different. Obviously she had heard of it but…the need to visit had never arisen. “So, this is Earth, and there is something called the Negaverse who is working to steal starseeds?”
That…was an alarming thought, and she looked at Faust, almost hoping that he would say that he was telling a joke. He seemed like the type who would tell a joke, at any rate.
“...Have…they been doing this for long? What purpose do they have by taking lives like that?” A fresh asskicking? Yes…that did seem most appropriate for dealing with…whatever this was. “If they are a problem, then they must be solved, yes. My story?”
What was her story. Why did it matter, honestly.
“My story is my planet was wiped out. I was put into a shoddy stasis and my body remained as it was, but I was awake for long stretches. I am very tired of sitting still and am glad to be out of there. Even if it is to war with Starseed Snatchers on a remote planet.”

"The hell makes you think I'mma tell you everything I know up front?" The Mauvian chuffed. "Do I gotta remind you that you woke me up from a nap? And that I ain't never met you before in my life? I don't owe you s**t."
Faust had half a mind to get up and leave, but he instead settled for rolling over so his back was to this offensive new girl. He didn't even respond when she asked a clarifying question. If her ears were working, then she wouldn't need to clarify. Besides, it sounded like this b***h didn't think he knew anything. The nerve of these damn aliens!
Faust was stewing in his thoughts when she kept asking for follow-up. "Thinkin' I don't know any-damn-thing…
"Tell you what then, why don't you think about it for a damn second? Now, what would the Negaverse need all that energy for? Obviously they got a big damn evil abomination in their basement, and they're trying to power it up for ******** knows why. Prolly to sic it on the planet n' murder everyone who don't get in line with Negaverse ideals or some s**t like that. Hell, most of 'em don't seem to know why they need all that energy…" At least, none of the ones that Thraen bothered to ask.
Thankfully, they stopped asking.
"Sorry 'bout your beauty sleep, Sparkle Motion, but if you got the time to spare? Then we need you n' people like you to fight."

“If you weren’t so reluctant with your information, I wouldn’t have that misconception. Though I must say, I don’t truly think that there is any misconceptions, and I think you simply don’t have the answers, which is fine but just tell me and don’t waste my time. I will find another Mauvian to do their duty correctly.”
Was this what things had come to? Chaos? This…Negaverse. She needed to fight, but he neglected to give any reasons other than speculations and that…simply wasn’t how Jishui enjoyed spending her time. Speculations did nothing.
“I would rather have proof than the rumors and ideas that you have come up with. Tell me, where can I find the Senshi of this world? I would like to meet with them and offer my support.”
There…was a Senshi for this planet, was there not? She hoped so.

If she wanted to write off his answers, he didn't give a damn. He had all the answers he needed to continue kicking Negaverse a**. If she wanted to bounce off into hiding or whatever the hell sounded most comfortable, then at least Faust knew she wasn't a real warrior.
"There ain't no senshi o' this planet. We got senshi from all over the universe instead, all parked here, all reborn here — 'cept the ones like you — tryin' to kick a** n' stay alive. Far as I'm concerned? They all senshi o' this planet. So if you wanna go off to one o' them instead? Knock yourself out. But you best be offerin' them your support."

Scowling slightly, the Senshi shook her head. “Very well. I will find one of them. I will figure things out on my own.”
This Mauvian was…so temperamental, and she just…didn’t have the time nor patience to keep trying.
This wasn’t what she was used to, and this wasn’t the help and reassurance that she was expecting. But. She had made it so far on her own….she could keep going alone. “I appreciate you talking with me, but I will go and find one of this planet’s Senshi. I hope that life treats you well.”
It wasn’t an insult...but it wasn’t a compliment either, and Jishui turned on her heal and walked off, unwilling to continue the conversation.
