I only just read through the Harry Potter series last year.
I was put off from reading a lot growing up because I would get weird remarks for being a slow reader. Now I'm wishing I read the books as they came out so I could've been a part of the nerdy fans going to the midnight release of the movies.

I am also a slow reader , and sometimes i get caught up on other stuff and forget to go back to what i am reading 3nodding

Cookie is currently on Chapter 2 of Stephen King's IT. I've seen the movies, both old and new, but never read the book. My aunt is an avid S.K. fan and she let me borrow her copy to read. I'm sure it will take some time to get through all of the 1000 plus pages. lol

There is an audio book that i find hilarious called "The Log" voiced by the notorious Craig Charles, written while in character of david lister, about being the last human alive and lost in space of the TV show "Red Dwarf". 3nodding if youre interested, let me know and ill help you find it. its kind of buried in the internet a little bit.

Ok well, my reading history is a bit strange to most I guess. sweatdrop
I do call myself a book lover. Other then books for school, I only read Redwall by Brian Jaques. It's a series of 21 books+cookbook, available on Amazon. I only read a few other non school books. HP, Caddie Woodlawn, and The Lunar Chronicles.
It didn't take me long to discover I was afraid of new books. I still am. I have a reading comprehension issue so some just don't make sense. I am now re reading the Redwall books, but now am on to the books I never got to before. But I am kind getting sick of it a little, so I'll need a new set of books to read. I've got a giant list of TBR so I'll just look over that.
as far as HP goes, I think it's a wonderful series to grow up on, but now I've outgrown it. Sorry I guess.
Oh. Also Lisa See.

Try out Little Thieves by Margret Owen. I'm on the second book, Painted Devils. It gets complicated, but it's amazing. It gets a bit on the sexual side of things...
TBR
Red Queen + series Daughter of the Moon Goddess + Heart of the Sun Warrior Song of Achilles + Circe The Cruel Prince + series Lore Six of Crows + Crooked Kingdom Caraval + series
