Tonight was a pretty calm night. All he could see were some lush trees, plants, and swings for children as he walked around the park on patrol. He took a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air. He felt at peace, surrounded by nature and the tranquility of the night.
Which was something Osiris desperately needed - peace. He felt like his brain was swimming with case thoughts after all those law classes today. Maybe he was overdoing it with his course load this semester, especially if it affected his nightly patrols. That was a big problem. He had to focus on the task at hand, so he took a few deep breaths and tried to clear his head.
"I need to focus tonight," he said under his breath. He closed his eyes and took one final deep breath. He started to relax and feel more at ease. His heart rate slowed, and his body felt more comfortable. With that he tried to pay a little more attention to the surrounding area. After all who knew when someone or something could pop out at him.

Siegenite was not exactly intimidated, fleeing the nearby presence of a Senshi a rank lower than him. Generally speaking, he had the advantage in most fights--between his height, his combat skills, and his rank, he was fairly well off.
So he wasn't exactly concerned, as he dropped his draining victim and looked around to see if he could spot the Senshi--no one immediately nearby, so he turned towards the swings and hoped that whoever it was, they could get the silly "making threats" part of the night over with and get back to their respective jobs with a minimum of nonsense.
"If you're out there, Senshi," he called, "I'd suggest you leave."
Osiris felt a presence, and it definitely was not an order one. It was more powerful than he was for sure, but he knew power wasn't always everything. Sometimes it just takes courage to continue fighting even when you know you might lose. Or at least he told himself that anyway.
That was when he heard a voice speak. "Well, this is a first," he whispered under his breath with a slight laugh. Did they really think he would just leave? He was one senshi who would never leave, especially if he knew someone could get hurt in the process. What kind of justice would that be?
Luckily for him they kind of led him right to them with their voice. Made the process of searching much easier for sure. He could hear and discern which direction of the park they were coming from which was nice. He didn't know what he would find when he got to the location, but he knew he had to find out.
He quickly raced towards the voice, and when he arrived, he noticed the victim on the ground next to them. "Hey, thanks for the directions. It made it so much easier to find and stop you." After he spoke those words. He got ready for whatever was coming. He was ready to fight, no matter how much weaker he might be in strength comparison. After all he couldn't let them hurt anyone else.

Alas and alack. Why was it that no one ever listened to perfectly reasonable suggestions? Siegenite wondered, genuinely, if he had been like that while he was a Knight. Tromping into fights he had no business getting into just to feel morally superior. It seemed to be a bit of a thing, so...eugh, probably. But he hoped not.
And the little challenge, that made him pause for a moment and stare into the middle distance. Really? Really? This was really happening to him? Find and stop him?
"You're a bit late on that account," Siegenite said, and he called his weapon to hand, hefting the weighty cane with its heavy topper, "but if you're going to be obnoxious about this."
He was quick on his feet, and there was quite a lot of force he could put behind swinging his cane at the Senshi's gut. Knock the wind out of him, knock him down, get out. Easy. And perhaps if he was lucky, he might get to see some magic and be able to enter it into the database, but that was a secondary objective.
I mean he normally tries to give them the benefit of the doubt, but right now he was on his last nerves. How can someone not care about hurting someone? He could never understand that. His frustration was palpable - how could someone be so apathetic and unrepentant about the consequences of their actions? Maybe it was just all this extra class work, but this guy seemed to be hitting every button.
As soon as he saw the weapon enter the hand of the guy. He looked it over as quickly as possible. The cane-like object looked pretty heavy, definitely something he could never lift. He knew he had to act fast. He was not sure what the man was planning to do with it, but whatever it was he had to act fast.
He kept his eyes on the captain and figured before they started this fight it would be wise to introduce themselves. "Oh and by the way I'm Osiris, Senshi of Justice. I look forward to seeing your skills in action and showing you a few of mine." With that he decided he might as well make the first move, and he decided to advance towards his opponent as soon as he got close enough. Then, he tried a slide with his left foot in an effort to knock him off balance. Or so he hoped anyway.

How charming. How civilized. Introducing himself before a fight. That was, for Siegenite, sort of a boon; certainly it meant he had a name and sphere to go into the database. It was with a polite nod that he brought up his weapon.
"Captain Siegenite," he said, because he doubted there was much value in that, but returning the courtesy was sort of amusing.
And then, he swung with force, aiming right for the Senshi's center mass.
When he introduced himself, he thought it was pleasant to have a name for his opponent. But that pleasantness didn't last long. Osiris suddenly felt himself knocked back. He used his legs and arms to brace him as best he could as he flew backwards. He managed to slow his momentum and eventually came to a stop but not without some physical damage. He lay there, panting heavily from the strain of trying to stop himself and he wiped his mouth a bit. His opponent was definitely a formidable one, and strong as they looked. But he wasn't about to stop fighting even if it meant he got hurt.
As soon as he could stand up again he decided now was as good a time as ever. It was time to unleash the handcuffs. "Authorization Transaction!" He whispered under his breath. He quickly moved his hands in circles in front of his chest and from them came a black-colored light in the shape of handcuffs. The handcuffs automatically begin to head towards his opponent ready to lock onto its target. All he could hope for was a hit, and maybe just maybe if it did he might stand a small chance. A chance where he could maybe take the Captain down a peg.
The handcuffs will automatically head towards his opponent in an attempt to lock around their wrists and stop their attempt to escape or run very far. The downside of this attack is at times the black-colored light will not form or will miss the opponent completely. (This attack is meant to be where the justice being served is served to the fullest potential. The transaction will be justified in its means.) This attack will last for 10-15 seconds in the battle.

There was always something satisfying about landing a solid hit on a smug opponent. And anyone who played courtesy games like introductions before a fight had to have some sort of smug confidence in them, even if it was just of the variety that insisted they had to be right, all the time, every time.
The worst kind, in Siegenite's mind.
He'd managed to knock his opponent away. Good. But that was never a guarantee, not with Senshi. Not with magic.
So he was getting ready to move closer for another hit, when he saw the strange, blakc magical lights coming at him--and it was in a quick second that he made his decision.
No, not today, he did not want to find out what that magic did. Anyway, he had his energy, so he did not need to hang around.
In a moment's breath, before the magic could catch him, Siegenite vanished.
Osiris watched his opponent disappear, and while he didn't know where he ended up. He figured it was for the better. After all his ribs were a little sore after just that one attack, who knew what more could of done. As he stood there, he couldn't help but feel relieved.
So as he gathered himself he rushed off towards home. He was exhausted from the battle, but he felt a sense of accomplishment. He had faced a powerful enemy and while no one really won, he still felt accomplished. As he headed home, he was looking forward to the rest and relaxation he deserved.
