Everything was bright again, though the ringing in his ears from the night before was gone. He groaned quietly, curling into the warmth at his side as he tried to ignore the light and go back to sleep. His name was called and he opened his eyes, staring off for a moment as if he didn't recognize where he was. After a minute or so he blinked, fixing his gaze on Lonnie. "Hi." He said sheepishly. He sounded so small, felt small.

"I'm... okay?" Judas said softly, though he was unsure if he was telling Lonnie or asking him. It wasn't a total lie. He definitely wasn't in any immediate danger anymore, but the adrenaline had long worn off, leaving him beyond sore and stiff. Judas tugged the blanket around him tighter, just to do something with his hands, too keep them from shaking if he thought to hard on the events only a few hours ago.

"I might... pick? If that's alright with you. I honestly don't want to risk too much, too fast."

Judas flinched at the initial touch, before sighing and tilting his head into Lonnie's hand. "I don't know why you're asking. I know you won't let me get out of bed without checking me over at least once." Judas mumbled in defeat. "I feel gross, crusty." He tentatively touched his lip, and immediately regretted the action.

"Do... you remember what I did with my phone? Should probably tell your favorite person in the whole wide world I might be out a day or two." He said with a cheeky grin.

Judas snorted, rolling his eyes. "Down killer. We can call him. Unless you want the mental debate on wether you want to leave me, alone, to go harass my boss, or not. Cause I sure as hell ain't getting in the car to do it." Too many eyes. He wasn't ready for it.

Op welp. Guess he had no choice in the matter. Lonnie was gonna go anyway. Judas pouted as Lonnie pucked his phone from him. "I'ma remind you of this, when the two of you are actual best buddies and can't live without the other." The brunette sighed, letting Lonnie do as he pleased. "...Don't suppose I get brownie points by saying I feel better cause you're here? With me? And not fighting with Harker?" He paused before adding. "I'd pout my lip at you but Im pretty sure it will split open if I try."

Judas just sighed. "Fine. Have it your way, but that wasn't the point.". Judas tried to sit as still as he possibly could for Lonnie. The occasional flinch or shakey breathe aside, Judas thought he did pretty well. "Oh hell no. Have you seen my nurse? If I bleed for twitching, so be it. I'm milking this for all it's worth." He laugh, which quickly turned into a small coughing fit. "...Okay so in my defense, I might have forgotten about getting stepped on." He said sheepishly.

Judas let himself sag against Lonnie, thankful for his help. "You're right on that one... Harker will probably help. Knowing him, he'll probably have Jean and Enfys to keep tabs too. So that's... a sizable army you have there." He wrapped his arms around Lonnie's chest, giving a small squeeze. "All I ask is you wait till I've fallen asleep again before you go." Just so he didn't have to dwell on being alone. "That or help me find my giant a** hoodie and I'll drag my bruised pride to the car... Even though I said I wouldn't..." Damn Lonnie for being so cute.
