It had been happening slowly over the years, almost unnoticeably with how little she had done to keep up with things. That little tingle in her ear, the devil on her shoulder saying what she was doing was fine. At first, she didn't want to put any effort into this whole thing but now... now she had goals and something she strived for. She had obstacles to knock down, in this case, starseeds to rip and drain from. When had people stopped being people to her and just targets for rent money and draining? She didn't even know really at this point and part of her didn't care either. It had bothered her at first and each time she did it things just got easier and easier to the point she was enjoying it now.

Pulling out her own starseed, she looked at it with a weird sort of fascination before putting it back where it belonged. What did she want to do now, she could feel that soon she would be able to rank up and keep progressing towards her own goal. But... was it really her goal at this point or just that little tingly feeling guiding her that way. She really had no civilian life or connections in Destiny City and had no other goals before being brought into the Negaverse. Yea she worked at a 7/11 but that wasn't something to be proud of, even if the boy she worked with was pretty cool and had cool stories to tell.

Looking out at the cityscape she thought about all those she had met in the recent months that really got her motivated to do anything with her powers and skills. Chrysocolla really cared about her in a way not even her own parents had after being absent for so long. She had checked up and made sure things were ok as well as answering questions and providing an actual guide and viewpoint into things. Not that she had run into a knight yet or anything other than a few dark mirror senshi and that one colorful order senshi. Opportunities were endless now but at least she had others to call upon if she needed them. Crocoite would definitely be able to help if she did run into a knight with a weapon or magic stuff, as the guide had told her they had. The best part of meeting all these new people was that she learned a lot of new things.

At the thought of this, she smiled and remembered the help she had gotten from the panda boy, Kiuchi. Now she knew about the subspace and had filled it with the random things she needed while out and about draining. For now, she kept her cell phone, iPod, and a small first aid kit in there. It wasn't much but some things that she would need to get in contact with the non-agent allies she had at this point. She could always shoot them a text and even now, things would be easier as she had finally scrounged enough money from her thefts to afford a brand-new phone. Luckily she got to keep her number when she upgraded, which shocked the worker at the store when she brought in her broken and sad excuse for an android. Now she had one of those flip phones with a little screen on the outside so she could see notifications without opening it. The camera was way better now too so she could take photos of enemies if she could get a drop on them or while she was in civilian form so she could report the info to someone in the intelligence squad thing.

She still wasn't sure exactly where she fit in but she would figure it out as she went with the flow. That tingly feeling that let her know what she was doing was ok felt good, it soothed much of the anxiety she had from being left to the wolves from the start. She didn't even remember the name or face of the general that had brought her in after she had been caught out after a concert. In all honesty, it didn't matter much to her anymore and part of that scared her. That feeling though crept into the back of her mind, which helped again to smooth over the fear to make it fade into the background. This was the right path, she would get stronger and be better. She could help people and be appreciated for the work she did and that was nice for a change. Making her way down the fire escape, she began to look at the poor stupid souls that wandered drunkenly through the city. This was her hunting ground and she would lie in wait for her targets.

Breathing deeply she used her magic, looking deep into the fog at the silhouette that lurked within. It lashed out at the nearest drunkard that stumbled by the alley she stood in. One day she would see it in all its glory, that was what she would focus on. Her duty to drain and help the negaverse was a mantra she kept in her mind as the quiet screams of shock and fear came from her latest target. They stopped as she reached into his chest oh so carefully and delicately, before violently ripping the seed from him. This was her goal, she would feed the negaverse energy and take steps to see her monster. She would be praised by Chryscolla for all the seeds she had gathered, the upgrade in her magic would be useful to Croconite's research and goals.

After their seed was safely tucked away, she rifled through his pockets and just took his whole wallet. She had all the time in the world to actually open it and see what prize she had gotten from him. It was funny, these drunkards were inconsequential to her now other than their money. She smiled a bit and walked off looking for her next target of the night, once she ripped their seeds there would be no sound to alert the others. An old idiom came to mind about trees falling in the forest and she smiled thinking of how this felt sort of similar.

She felt good about this path and it was the path that would rock if she was on it.
