Hiro was stunned by Cartwright dropping such a bombshell, he didn't know he'd be actually wrestling again so soon, but after that initial rush subsided he would probably surprise the man in charge. The World Champ Drako Damone vs Hiro Shin-Mozas, live at Judgement Day...it's not what Hiro ever thought he'd be doing, but after what happened to Nuke, he was fine with it.
"You know, I'm going to pretend that wasn't a thinly veiled threat. I don't care what Drako brings to the table with his boys -- I've always respected the Damone family but after tonight, it looks like a reminder needs to be made to you, them, and the universe at large -- I didn't come back here to be pushed around Cartwright. I wanted to bury the hatchet with the people who wronged me, but now I am going to bury a very special hatchet thanks to you. I never lost that championship Drako's got over his shoulder, I merely gave it up. I'm gonna beat him regardless of what he tries to pull, and then I'm gonna sit down and have my talk with Nuke. Don't be too excited, because you're not getting the outcome you wanted out of this, Cart. If anything, you just moved our private meeting up a few weeks."
Hiro would get in Cartwright's face with that final jab, staring him right in his tired, aching soul. These two knew each other incredibly well, so regardless of what Cartwright showed in his response, there was definitely another level of this knowing that Hiro was for sure going to be seeing him once again. The Ethnic Enigma stormed past Cart as the Englishman was presumably ready to head to the ring for his Trent segment...a Trentment, if you will.
