Having to talk to a Saturn Knight hadn’t been in the plans of Celadonite, but when the stipulation was given, he agreed. He got to the spot that Necro had told him to go to early and sat down on a bench, his one leg shaking in an effort to get rid of some of the pent up anxiety that just kept building.
There was no reason to be afraid. This was just another opportunity to speak to someone. Another chance to figure out if he could be saved or if he would just have to suck it up and watch himself slowly turn into a monster…
Perhaps that wouldn’t be so bad. Maybe Faustite would get rid of Headache and keep him instead…at least he’d be wanted that way.
Sighing softly, Celadonite rubbed at the bridge of his nose, trying to chase away the headache that was slowly building there. He had to talk to Faustite…and soon. Had to figure out if there was another path that…well.
The answer was no, obviously or Faustite would have done it himself…but. Still.
The jacket he had been working on was almost finished and it was without a doubt the best one had ever done.
The aura of a Knight broke Celadonite out of his mental wanderings and he sat up a little straighter, glancing towards the area where it came from, and drew in a breath when the blonde haired purple clad male came into view. “You’re the one who wanted to speak to me, I’m assuming?”

The agent was either anxious or excited, judging by his body language and posture. Michel didn’t care enough to scrutinize it and find out. He’d shown up as a civilian first, so he could see who he was dealing with. He’d done a little walk around the perimeter to make sure there was no one hiding in the bushes.
And then, he’d powered up, and walked straight up to the man.
“Yeah.”
He didn’t seem too enthusiastic, but there was something stern and unfriendly about him. Michel wasn’t a fan of Chaos by any means. He held the clock hand tightly in his left hand and, when he was standing just before the Captain, he held out his right hand. “Give me your communicator. Whatever device you’re using to keep in contact with everyone else. I want to make sure you’re talking to me right now, not anyone else. You can have it back when we’re done.”

Celadonite’s eyes narrowed and he kept himself quiet for a moment, mulling over if he should give up the device or not, and finally he pulled the tablet pen out of subspace, placing it into Michel’s hand without complaint. “I will need it back though. I can’t have people knowing what I’m trying to do. That would defeat the purpose of doing it.” He swallowed and moved to sit on his hands, looking up at Michel with a hesitant expression.
“You’re a Saturn Knight, like Necro? He’s been trying to help me out. What is it that you wanted to talk to me about?”
Obviously, all of it but. Still. It was worth it to be friendly. Ish? Right?
…Right?

“You’ll get it back,” Michel assured, watching him as he accepted the pen. He kept it in his hand, where it was visible, but out of reach. He didn’t make any more of a spectacle out of it.
He remained standing and propped the tip of his clock hand into the ground so he could lean against it.
“Lot of Knights are gullible. Lot of Senshi, too. Good people, trusting too much. I’m not gullible like them. I don’t trust anyone.” He shrugged. “I want to know why you want out so much.”
He watched Celadonite expectantly, but he was unreadable himself. Celadonite didn’t look confident. Didn’t look smug. He seemed oddly vulnerable–but he had handed over the pen. He’d trusted Michel with that.
…He still had a long way to go before Michel trusted him with anything.

“I ******** up. Plain and simple. Hot guy corrupted me, I decided to become a half youma for hot guy, everything was roses and sex for a while and then he started losing to his youma side and I don’t want that happening to me. I had a great life before I threw it away to be this. I was making a name for myself and in fashion, and then. You know it was worth it. He was so excited but then. I wasn’t enough. And I ******** sleep all winter anyway. I can’t handle the cold. My quality of life is s**t. And I just. I don’t want to turn full feral. I’m not made for it and I wouldn’t be a very attractive snake man if it came to it.”
Running a hand through his hair, Celadonite sighed. “Will I miss the sexy hypnosis? Absolutely. And the venom? Eh. Kind of. But. I know it’s going to suck no matter what, but I know that if my team ever wants me back, they can get me back a lot easier if I’m a full human again rather than just a pet youma. I don’t really fancy trying to eat all of them or being on the leash of one or more of them.”

He shifted positions a bit and squinted at him. “See, that last part. That’s not what I want to hear. I don’t want to hear ‘If my team ever wants me back’. There is no going back. You can’t dream of a future where you might get to keep them. If you want out, you stay out. This isn’t some shortcut to get you to a different place in the Negaverse. You think they’ll trust you after you leave for–what, for vanity’s sake?”
He shook his head. “That Chaos is going to eat away at all of them as time goes on. You’ll either be a pet monster or a traitor, and no matter what you’ll be under someone’s heel. You get that, right? If we help you out, I don’t want a ‘when I get back to my team’–you make a new team, here. People who will support you and encourage you however you need. You get people who you rely on, and who rely on you. Hell, go find some other d**k to ride. But if you even think about going back.”
Michel’s grip on his weapon tightened. He forced himself to relax.
“I will kill you. I’m not losing anyone else to the Negaverse.”

Celadonite stared at the Knight and slowly held both of his hands up in a gesture of surrender. “I didn’t say that I’d go trying to get back. But they don’t really take kindly to people vanishing. Even if there is a good reason. I know I’ll be hunted. I’ll figure it out.”
His lips twitched slightly. It wasn’t funny...not really. None of this was funny...but. “...I will miss that aspect of myself. I have two dicks right now so it does make life quite interesting.”
Not helping. He was not helping but. Humor was so much easier to deal with than threats, and…he wasn’t sure what to think.
“...Are you saying that you don’t want to lose me? Already? I’m not sure if I should be flattered or scared. Or. A bit of both. Necro, yeah I could see him saying that. But you’re.”
Celadonite wrinkled his nose. “Kind of scary, if we’re being honest.”

Michel looked at him for a minute and tried to decide if he was being serious or not, but it didn’t take long for him to decide he didn’t care what was in this guy’s pants anyway so it didn’t matter.
He could imagine Necro saying it? What was that supposed to mean?
“I’m threatening you and you’ve got the nerve to be flattered?” God, the Negaverse made all of these people crazy in the head. “I don’t know you enough to care about you. I care about making sure the Negaverse doesn’t get you back. It’s not good for anyone. It’s a waste of time and effort for us, and you’re screwed at the end. You might get lucky, they might not even recognize you. Are you willing to give all of them up to save yourself? Are you willing to start over, to leave them all behind? Can you do that?"
Was he willing to try?

“If that’s what it takes to make me human again, yeah. If it keeps me from dying and turning into a stupid cold stunned snake, absolutely. If I have to make a new life for myself, bring it on. It’s not the first time and I doubt it’ll be the last but.” He shrugged. “Look. Your threats seem more concerned for me than for anyone else, and that is flattering. I came into all of this fully prepared to just drag Necro back with me but. Whatever s**t happens. Plans change. And caring that they don’t get me back seems like you care at least a little about me. And I think you should just admit it.”
Celadonite grinned now, fangs glinting in the light and looked rather smugly at the Knight. “If you admit it I’ll be able to promise all the better. If I know such a strong guy is worried about me, how could I ever falter?”
He wanted to make something for this knight. Something with fangs. Something that screamed deadly. Maybe he'd have time before it all ended. And maybe he'd remember that he wanted to after everything began again.

Michel wasn’t a living lie detector but the agent didn’t seem completely untrustworthy. There seemed to be something of a truth behind his arrogance. He didn’t seem shaken up by all of this, and he supposed the point made enough sense. He was talking about Necro again and it made him wonder just what his interest was in him.
They lived under the same roof, he was close to Evan. Of course he couldn’t help but want to know what was going on.
Even if he wasn’t the best at showing it all the time.
He didn’t let himself get riled up by the man but he didn’t let down his guard, either.
“Leaving the Negaverse is a better idea than trying to drag him back in. I got a lot of people who wouldn’t take too kindly to that and would probably make your life, and the lives of everyone care about pretty hellish just to get him back. When do you want to do this? How long is it going to take you to be ready to leave?”

“Look, just tell me when’s best for you and I’ll get my s**t together by then. This is all in your hands, I’m not going to push for anything. Give me a date, time and place and I’ll be there. I’d like at least a few days to finish up my latest projects and figure out what I want to do with my house and whatever but…” He shrugged. “That’s not too important.”
“If you want to discuss it with your friends or whatever and get a message to me, I’m happy with just meeting here every few days to wait, if that makes you feel better.”
He hesitated and shrugged. “I’m not going to drag him back in. He said so himself. I’ve had more than enough chances and I didn’t bother to take any of them, so. My loss. Or gain. I don’t know. Anyway point is he’s safe.”

Michel didn’t know if it was enough, but he was at least somewhat satisfied with the answer. He considered this for a moment and then nodded. He held out the pen he’d taken from Celadonite when he’d first arrived.
“Fine. You have a few days. I’ll send you a message when it’s time. No tricks,” he warned. “I’m not playing around. Too many people have already been hurt. If you want out, you’ll be at the time and place I message you. Alone. If you’re not there when I say to be, find someone else to help you out.”
It wasn’t the scariest warning he could give, but it wasn’t even a threat. It was a promise. He wasn’t going to let anyone hurt Lysithea. He wasn’t going to accept another ambush.
She’d been through enough.
They’d find a meeting place, they’d find a time that worked.
They’d go to Lysithea so no one could stop them.
“So just stay safe until you hear from me. Got it?”

Celadonite took his tablet pen back and nodded. “Got it. I’ll be there with bells on. Or. Whatever.”
He hoped that it wouldn’t take too long…and hoped that his nerves survived whatever wait it would be…but.
He’d be safe when this happened. Safe and with no risk of becoming a full monster…it…
He supposed that would be worth what he was going to give up…
But then again…if all else failed. If he forgot everything…perhaps Faustite would just. Bring him back anyway. Or, perhaps not. He had no idea what the future was going to hold, but nodded at Michel. “...I’ll await your message then. Thanks.” Slipping the pen back into subspace, he nodded at the Knight and vanished into the darkness.
Something bright. Like a poison frog. That would look good on him, he was sure. Something that just screamed. ‘I’m totally deadly stay the ******** away.’
It would suit him.
