The camera fades-in to show an angry looking Cartwright marching around the backstage area with Staff Member Russo.
Cartwright: "TRENT!
TRENT!
TREEEEEEEEEENT!
YOU'RE LATE, TRENT!"
What could Trent have been late for?
Cartwright continues to storm around the place.
Cartwright: "How many chances do I have to give this guy...."
Staff Member Russo: "Bro he's going to love my idea for him bro.
I swear to God man if he doesn't like it I will eat my post it notes bro."

Cartwright would continue to march around, obviously in a foul mood as of everything that happened at Wrestlemania. He wanted Trent, but what for exactly? Where was everyone else?
Finally, all of Cartwrights cries and moans would be answered as Trent would be shown walking around one of the corners of the backstage area. Meeting face to face with Cartwright.
"What do you want?"
Trent would ask, much more casual than their last exchange. Despite everything that happened, including the end of his match at last night which resulted in another loss.

Cartwright slaps Trent across the face.
Cartwright: "Put some damn respect in your tone of voice when you talk to me!
First you are late for Backlash and now that?!
'What do you want, sir?!'
I would also accept 'My Lord' and 'The Greatest WWFG Captain Since Jed'!"
Cartwright must be in a terrible mood.
Cartwright: "Incase you somehow missed the remainder of Wrestlemania, after you got knocked out by Salem Croft in your match with him, you were needed in Salem's tag team match after my henchmen were all attacked by someone!"
Cartwright overly dramatically waves his arms about in the air.
Cartwright: "Who could have possibly done this?!
I'm sick of everybody sticking their nose in to MY business!
I'm the boss, not them!
Everyone involved is going to be severely punished!"
Cartwright pauses his tirade as he waits for Trent to explain what happened at Wrestlemania.

Trent would be struck, and it took everything in him not to snap back at Cartwright. After soaking in that moment, he would look back at Cartwright and give him a smile.
"My bad, sir. For the disrespect and my disappearance after my match. I would have never expected something like that to happen to your motley crew."
Trent would then raise his hand in excitement.
"Hey, you know what would be a great idea. We could do an investigation and at the end of the night, reveal all further information together. I am not doing anything tonight and would love to be by your side once we figure out who attacked everyone!"
Trent would give a big smile.
"How about it? That way I can make up for Wrestlemania and get some revenge for everyone else. What do you say, boss?"
Trent would await to see Cartwrights reaction in anticipation.

Cartwright observes Trent as he smiles away, he must have an idea.
Cartwright: "Alright, since you look so happy to do this, you can lead the investigation and report back to me later with all the information that you have gathered!"
The art of being a good manager is putting the right people in the right place.
Cartwright: "I'll give you until the show goes off-air and then we will meet in my office!
I hope for your sake that you are a better journalist than you are wrestler!
This is your last chance to impress me!"

"I do like that idea, but lets make a show of it. Why not go in the center of the ring at the very end of the show, and publicly out the person! Good ratings, plus the person who did it may never come back because of how scared they will be to deal with us after!"
Trent would smile while bringing a fist down into his other hand showcasing how much of a good idea he thought that would be.
"At least, I like that idea. It is all up to you, of course. Boss."

Cartwright thinks about those ratings.
Cartwright: "Wow!
You must be very confident if you want to see this done in the ring!
For the whole world to see!
If you can't get me any answers by the end of the show, it won't just be me that will be ripping you a new one out there, so you better get it right!"
Cartwright walks away, allowing Trent to concentrate on the job.

Trent would smile, and as the big boss walked away.
"Thanks boss! I won't let you down!"
He said with confidence as he had some work to do!
