With the crowd all ready and pumped for the Backlash, having been through two thrilling matches already, their attention was all taken aback as the lights turned off with an audible 'Doof doof doof' around the arena, a big logo popping up on to the titantron.  A loud voice came over the PA system as a spotlight hit the stage.. "Rooooooooll for initiative!"Wizards - GloryhammerHigh in the Cairngorm Mountains
An ancient war still burns
A magical missile shoots and fireball explodes
These are the spells of the wizards
Fighting the demon horde
A secret battle for eternityWalking out from the back came the adventuring party who had debuted their promo segment not too long ago. All dressed in their adventuring attire, they stood on the ramp and looked out across the crowd, this time to a loud pop and cheer - and a little chuckle from some of the members, too.
The four of them then turned and looked as a member of the backstage crew brought out a gigantic D20 dice! Aeyre took a microphone from the stage hand and addressed the crowd again. "My name is Aeyre, and I am part of the world's best adventuring group.. The Murder Hobos! Right now you will bear witness to the greatest party .. rolling for initiative!"The party each takes turns rolling for initiative, to see who would be competing in this match. Aeyre rolls .. a 14! Gruk rolls .. a 2! Noko rolls .. a 9! Zayliss rolls .. a 2 as well! The stage hand takes the giant D20 back with him, as Aeyre picks up the microphone again. "The dice has spoken! Tonight myself and Noko will face off against The Syndicate, in a match for the ages! Now.. it's time to fight!"Aeyre drops the microphone and gets ready for the fight, de-robing alongside Noko as they make their way to the ramp, with Gruk and Zayliss following behind. The titantron logo switched again as their theme continued.  High in the Cairngorm Mountains

Guardians of timeThe four men circle the ring as they did earlier, but this time only Aezyre and Noko entered, to a small amount of applause from the crowd. They turned to face the stage, as Gruk and Zayliss stood back from the side.

The lights dim down as System begins to play over the PA. Smoke rolls in and rolls down the ramp. On the titantron, video begins to play, showing highlights of Marcus gaining wins over the likes of Goldberg and his father, mixed with images of a cabin, a figure in shadow screaming, and a cabin in dark woods. Now there's the added image of his new partner You fell away
What more can I say
The feelings evolved
I won't let it out
I can't replace your screaming face
Feeling the sickness insideFlames spring up on the stage just before two figures step out on stage, Marcus followed by Blaze Damone. The two stand on the stage, the flames continuing to spout up in spurts around them Why won't you die?
Your blood in mine
We'll be fine
Then your body will be mineFinally the two step forward, beginning the trip down the ring "Making their way to the ring, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at a combined weight of 580 pounds, the Syndicate!!!" The two reach the end of the ramp and stop, their gaze focused on their opponents in the ring. Finally Marcus turns and heads up the stairs, smoke blowing up and obscuring him from view almost completely. Blaze, meanwhile, grabs the tope rope and steps up onto the apron, then into the ring over the top rope Why is everything so ******** hard for me?

Keep on trying I'm not dying so easilyThe lights come up as Marcus steps out of the smoke and onto the apron to enter the ring through the ropes. Now in the ring, he removes the coat and hands it to an attendant outside, with Blaze following suit I will not die...

The two Murder Hobos play a quick game of rock-paper-scissors to decide who goes first, with Noko getting the nod. He stays in the ring as Aezyre leaves under the rope.
Noko, the silent monk, steps forward and watches his opponents in preparation.

Marcus and Blaze look back to each other. The two don't really need to speak, as they simply settle on who's going first by Marcus stepping out of the ring and onto the apron. Blaze, the masked newcomer, steps forward to meet this Noko in the center of the ring

Noko puts his palms together and bows deep to the referee and then to Blaze, as the ref rings the bell to start the match off.
On the outside, Gruk and Zayliss have moved to the announcer's side and have taken residence by removing the WWFG covering and are sitting on the edge of the table.

Blaze's eyes focus on Noko. Once the bell rings, the big man moves forward, attempting to quickly grab and overpower the other man into a neutral corner

There's not too much that Noko can do at first as he's pushed back towards the turnbuckle. Once his back hits it, however, he attempts to duck and slide out through the ropes.

One can't see Blaze's full face, so the annoyance that crosses his face as Noko ducks out of the ring. Blaze drops down and follows him out of the ring, willing to slowly stalk him

Noko looks all too pleased with himself as he walks around the ring a little, putting his palms together and bowing to the crowd. He then turns around to see where his opponent might be at that point.

Blaze finally puts on a burst of speed, looking to catch Noko as he turns around with a clothesline

Noko turns and almost has his head taken off by Blaze, as he flips in the air and lands hard on his front. The crowd around all cheer on, happy to see such an explosive start to the match already.
Aeyre stomps his feet on the apron and claps for his ally to get up, willing him to not be down and out after that brutal clothesline.

Blaze reaches down to pull Noko back up and attempts to roll him back into the ring, then slide in after him, so on the plus side Aeyre doesn't have to worry about his partner being down for too long

Noko is easily grabbed and rolled in to the ring, and will end up face down again, breathing in to the mat. That clothesline knocked the wind out of him.
On the outside, their barbarian Gruk started to laugh at Noko's downfall, actually finding it funny.
Zayliss sighs and nudges Gruk to stop laughing at Noko being down like this, but chuckles a little himself.
