bbno$ and Y2K's "Lalala" began to play out of the speakers garnering a mixed reaction from the crowd that was still split a bit after Wrestlemania on whether or not Better Than You. earned the right to say he wasn't the worst member of the WWF:G roster. He had defeated DJ Killa Kyle in a Hollywood Backlot Brawl that culminated in a run in during the return match between Hiro and Brantley Summers, and while DJ Killa Kyle at moment looked more impressive, the victory still went to Better Than You. The Canadian would step out from the back in an ALL NEW #8 New York Jets Aaron Rodgers jersey -- garnering him a massive pop from the same Jets fans who would have happily stabbed him in the parking lot just a month prior. Better Than You. was an unwilling babyface in multiple ways right now, but still had that same edge he always did and was more than prepared to win tonight after expelling his demons at Wrestlemania. He was once again convinced he was BETTER THAN YOU...and that it was more than just a catchphrase.

Better Than You. would reach the ringside area and hand his jersey off to some fat guy who excitedly squeezed into it, ripping the threads around the neck as he did so. BTY. looked incredibly disgusted at the sight, but even more so he was disgusted to see his large German opponent standing in a corner.



BTY. would slide into the ring under the bottom rope and pop up to his feet with a little extra pep in his step. He was prepared to fight, but just wasn't happy about how he got roped into a match against his big oaf. He adjusts his tights and quickly shoos away the referee who thought to check him for any potential weapons, or anything of the sort.

Better Than You. look at the arm of the larger man, scoffing at the idea of going test of strength with him. Better Than You. knew he was at least better than his opponent at everything but being large, sometimes you gotta learn to let others have a win every so often, it was part of BTY.'s attempts at understanding others a little better. He would look up at Reich's arm and back out to the crowd with his hands on his hips, debating just what to do here. Finally, a twinkle in his eye --



BTY. would try to slam down hard on the foot of his opponent out of the distraction of his words, hoping to leap up and catch him with a lifting knee to the shoulder if he leans down a bit to sell the foot stomp! Even if the fans were coming around on BTY., he wasn't going to make it easy for them to turn him.

BTY. barked at Reich who hardly sold his offense, but as he was stating the issue to the man who'd just been in a tag match earlier with Salem Croft, he was cracked right in the jaw with an uppercut, dropping him down to the side and causing him to roll out of the ring and to ringside where a group of Puerto Rican Jets fans happily showered him in praise. BTY. would begin to complain to the group that wrestling logic was being thrown out the window tonight just like in his match against DJ Killa Kyle at Wrestlemania, and that this wasn't going to be pretty -- but being Jets fans, these folks were all fine with the idea of paying to watch something horrible and not worth the price of admission.

Better Than You. finally wrapped up his quick seminar for the fans at ringside on wrestling psychology when he turned around and saw Reich running towards the ropes, looking like he was going to leap out of the ring...but, instead, the 300 pounder springboarded a perfect backflip and landed in center ring, dropping down into a seated position. BTY.'s heart about burst out of his chest at the idea of this large man careening into him and crushing him against the barricade -- but thankfully his worries were quickly dismissed. As if Erynys was merely a create-a-wrestler in a video game, he was pulling off crazy athletic maneuvers that perhaps as a man of his size, he really shouldn't be doing. Really kills the mystique, you know? Erynys should be seen more like an attraction, a wrestler you bring in every so often like an Andre the Giant or a BOOM -- someone that the fans won't get all the time but will pay like crazy to see. Could you imagine seeing the Great Khali do a plancha and then get back in the ring and do it again? I'm sure he could do it, we've all seen the gif of him running to the ring and hopping over the top rope...but should he be doing it? Of course not, just like Erynys shouldn't be doing what he is -- as to not break the mystique of his character as a larger German with a good look that was to appear spooky as a way to push merch and look good as a counter to his own tag team partner.

Better Than You. would pull himself up onto the apron slowly and enter the ring while demanding that the ref keep Reich far away as to give him a fair chance of getting back into things -- all while favoring his jaw.

Better Than You. stepped back into the ring and slapped his chest a couple of times while pulling up on his tights, getting them back firmly onto his first set of abs before trying to get in close at the seated opponent, flicking his arms out like you would with a mysterious animal sitting in the middle of your lawn that you're not so sure is friendly or not, so you're pulling your hand away quickly as it not have it bite you but for it to maybe get a whiff of your scent. This was going to be the only way that the Canadian would know if his opponent tonight was also capable of springing up from the ground in an impossibly quick fashion.

Better Than You. was getting nowhere by trying to goad movement out of Erynys, so he decided to start running in circles around his opponent, picking up the speed as he did so while maintaining his equilibrium -- it was honestly quite impressive. BTY. figured, hey you know, why not try and dizzy his opponent or at least drive him nuts with the constant shaking and cracking of the wooden boards under the canvas and the random wind hitting his body from the quick circles. The fans were completely dead, save for some Jets fans cheering on Aaron Rodgers' little buddy.

Reich wasn't going to pull off his move this time as Better Than You.'s reaction time was unnaturally quick this time, able to leap over the attempt at a drop toe hold, presuming it came from the angle of Erynys sliding his body across the ground slightly and using just his own legs to basically trip BTY. into the drop toe hold. BTY. would quickly turn and rebound off the ropes, looking to crack his opponent with a dropkick to the FACE.
