To say he was displeased would be an understatement, he was so far beyond that he wasn’t sure there were words to describe it. He was hurting, his whole damn side was surely bruised, and he knew something was broken. That damn knight…he was going to beat him to death with that bokken next time, and there would be a next time. He would make sure they crossed paths again.

Right now though he was focused on pulling out his communicator in the hopes of finding himself help. He knew of a general who had medical training, he’d run into him once in the past, a little bit of research had told him the other was a doctor of some sort. It was enough to have him calling into his communicator for the general.

“This is Miyamoto, looking for General Arsenopyrite. I could use your help if you are available.” He was hoping the other was available to help, because he needed it, but he wasn’t going to plead or let it be known that he was injured. He wasn’t about to let others, who might be listening in, hear that he was injured and needed help. He’d sooner rip his own earrings from his ears, tearing his ears in the process, than let anyone know he was in such need.

Arseno, for his part, had been in the middle of fixing up the office/lab that he once called his within the castle. It was surprising that no one had claimed it while he had been preoccupied with medical school and subsequently residency. He surmised that they hadn’t touched it because he was a General and had some sway. Not as much as a General Sovereign, but some.

He had been moving some books around on the shelves when his tablet notified him that he had received a message. He quickly opened it up, assuming that it was a general message to all Agents and was surprised when it was directed at him and from a Senshi. “Miyamoto…” He muttered. He remembered briefly meeting the Senshi once. If the Corrupt was asking for him, then it was most likely a medical emergency.

“I’ll be there right away.” He responded and put the tablet away into subspace. He looked over at Ödön who had been poking at some bones that he had yet to clean up. A rare appearance by the Youma who usually hung out in the Rift, but he supposed the trumpet bird was happy to see him in a way. “Come on Ödön. We’re going to meet up with a Senshi. I want you to help find him and keep an eye out for anyone who may be coming if we’re distracted.” The Youma looked at him and then the bones, and then at him, and then the bones… “Ödön.” Arseno emphasized and if the Youma had shoulders they would have slumped in defeat. The bones would have to come later. It flew over to Arseno as he was grabbing his medical kit and they both teleported out of there to the area that the message had come from.

Immediately Arseno could feel the Corrupt’s aura. “Time to keep a lookout Ödön.” He said as the Youma flew from his arm up into the sky. Arseno made his way to where the aura was coming from the most and found the injured Corrupt. “We’ll need to take you back to the Castle as soon as I’m done giving first aid.” He said when he saw the corrupt and immediately set on checking him out to make sure that an ambulance wouldn’t be needed.

“Thanks for turning up.” He’d taken the chance and hoped the other would get the message and respond to it, though they didn’t know each other well. He also didn’t know if the other would get the message if he was powered down, especially if he was busy. “I got into a fight with a knight.” He really hated admitting that he’d taken such a beating…especially from a knight who was equal in rank to himself.

“He hit me in the side with a bokken….” He hit him hard, more than he thought the knight possible of striking him. “A wooden sword…if you didn’t know what a bokken was. I felt something give when he struck.” And he really didn’t like how that sounded, he didn’t like the idea of what it meant for him. “It hurts to breath…my whole side ******** hurts.” And he was going to find that knight and kill him next time, he would cover the pavement in the knights blood and make sure he gave a message for others to see. Anyone who ******** with him would die - painfully.

“Can’t really explain at a hospital how I got hit that hard with a bokken.” So he’d gone with the best option, plus he disliked hospitals anyway.

“I understand.” Arseno said as he made sure to look at the other’s side. “We’ll have to get this outfit off of you. Doesn’t seem like anyone is in the area so we can make a clean escape to my laboratory.” He said with a signal to Ödön. The Youma made it’s way over to them and soon enough they had been transported to Arseno’s room within the castle. He carefully set the injured Senshi on an examination table that was padded. This one was for actual injuries and examinations and not… his experiments.

He quickly ripped open the middle of the Senshi’s uniform and frowned at the bruising. “Bad bruising. Probably a few broken ribs as well. Unfortunately I don’t have an x-ray here, but there wouldn’t be much we could do with that anyway in terms of casting. That means letting yourself rest for a bit, whether it’s in civilian form or powered. No bandages around your chest, that will just make it worse.” Medicine was always evolving.

Ödön made it’s way over to the perch and watched over the two of them, patiently waiting to see if Arseno might remove a bone. “The bruising is making it a bit harder to diagnose, but you might have internal bruising as well. I don’t believe you have any internal bleeding. However, I suggest you rest here for a bit to make sure. If the pain gets worse or you start feeling dizzy then we will have to take you to a hospital. I can make up some BS story there. Skateboarding and then falling on a set of stairs would do the trick.”

“I’d always thought people wrapped their ribs when broken…” Was that not the case? He’d seen it on tv at least once, he was certain of that, he felt like that was the case anyway. “Or are the tv shows and movies lying to us?” He questioned from where he lay letting the other look him over. Thankfully, for them both, he trusted the other enough to get him in such a vulnerable position and with his uniform cut open. He couldn’t wait till he could get himself to eternal so he’d be less vulnerable - less weak. He’d be able to hold his own better in a fight.
“That’ll be fine. I don’t mind staying, I actually feel like I could use the rest. I assume you’ll be close at hand in case I do wind up needing a trip the er?” Since it wasn’t likely he’d manage to get himself there if it did become a need. Honestly Miyamoto was hoping that wouldn’t be needed as he disliked the place immensely, too clean and sterile. He didn’t like being around the old and dying either…both were uncomfortable things for him.

“I’ll even let you check on me in a few days.” After some rest, to see how he was handling things after the bruising started to clear. But he really was going to track down that knight, when he was healed up, and break that bokken over their head.

“Modern medicine. While it’s not terrible for the rib, it would restrict breathing and could possibly internally damage you and give you something like pneumonia. Not something you want to be dealing with. Just make sure you don’t get hit there again before it’s healed.” He said with a nod as he cleaned up any blood that could be seen with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab to make sure he hadn’t missed anything that could lead to serious trouble. “Yes I’ll be here. I won’t let you stay here by yourself, especially with Ödön around.” There was a trumpet of indignation.

“Or someone else. Just make sure you do a follow up with A doctor at least. I’ll have more of an idea of what happened so it would be better for me to look at it.” He took one last look at the Senshi before nodding. “All right, I’ll get you some blankets to stay warm, but go ahead and relax on that bed with that pillow. I suggest not sleeping on your side, that’s just going to be painful.” He moved back over to his books. “I’ll be reading until you wake back up.
