Raina had thought about the bank information for a while. The first person she told? Her brother. She didn't know what kinds of things he got invested in--or invested in--or whatever with him being almost thirty-one. Seemed best to advise him to maybe just keep a distance. She ignored his remarks that he knew not to trust anything newer. Presuming that her brother would handle the rest of that, next, she talked to her mother, with an advisement of she not worry about why. A friend had a bad experience. Don't ask. Now who? Ah! A name bubbled to mind immediately, and she powered up to take her senshi phone out. Just in case the Negaverse had eyes on their civilian phones, somehow.

The buzzing of her phone was a welcome distraction. The night was quiet, but Cybele had been walking for a while. The scars on her feet were starting to ache. Now she had an excuse to sit down on the curb, and summon her phone while she typed out a response.

Seiana_ZI Not just for this ambush. I tried to talk to him, before, and and he burned my feet off. Left me to die of infection. He deserved to burn to death as slowly as humanly possible. I’m sorry Encke was hoping for a different outcome, truly, although I won’t ask if it’s his story to tell. What’s your news?

stari_maga I get the whole mantra of everyone deserves a second chance, but I don't know. might've burned that bridge with your feet. Anser didn't quite get her brother's thing with that, but she also accepted that she would never know what it was like to be a youma. Thankfully. stari_magax well kinda my bro-in-law's fam formally adopted her so she's like my sister-in-law? but it's Nikki Anser knew that her relationship with the former Sylvite was dicey at best, but Anser didn't lie about anything. Cybele wracked her brain. She didn't know if the name was supposed to ring any bells. There were more pressing matters at hand, anyway. Seiana_ZI Even if it's a smaller bank, it's still very serious. Can we confirm this? If we can, we're going to have to do something about it.

Oh. There was another pause as Cybele realized that Anser's adopted sister was Sylvite. That was someone else who she wouldn't have minded seeing burned to death instead of purifying, and while she realized that likely wasn't the healthiest thought processes, it was something that was taking time to manage her emotions about. She wasn't going to think about it right now. Seiana_ZI That's a very valuable lead. We shouldn't talk to the team. They'll know we know. I might try to stake out, see if I can get more information that way? Or you can see if you can get details from this Fulgurite, if you'd like. If it's true, we can't let it happen. The Negaverse is shaken right now. We saw them disorganized with what happened with Faustite. I think we'd have a chance with sabotage.

stari_maga yeah, talking to them seems like a bad idea. he's on Faustite's team or whatever, so I get the feeling they aren't too friendly but they got a leak so 💯 But maybe she could figure out where Nectaris was meeting her boytoy...
