Hey people I havn't played coM yet but I have played and beaten kingdom hearts 1. Will I understand KH2 even though I havn't played CoM? Also in KH1 is there a way to get back to monstro after you've beaten it cause I havn't everything needed to unlock the bonus concept video, except for two groups of puppies in montstro and then ultima weapon.

Also how do you get gales to make ultima weapon? And is there a way besides for the bouncing mushrooms to get mystery goo since i'm terrible at bouncing them.

I would HIGHLY suggest playing COM before KH2, otherwise you are going to be confused beyond all reason. As for Monstro, he shows up randomly - if you head to where you found him, sometimes he's there and sometimes he isn't. The key is, sadly, patience. Sooner or later he'll show up. No, I always thought it sounded stupid... it's just that it actually seems to work... My guess is though that it's just faulty interperitations, and wishful thinking.

Lol, I always go to the Hotel for Mystery Goos. ^^ The mushrooms there only know three spells, and one can just circle around for hours. :3
...Except I think the game caught on to what I was doing, because I've noticed that it doesn't work nearly as well as it used to. sweatdrop

Now that doesn't seem right... I don't think the game has variation-programing in it... Unless you did something big, like lock the Traverse Town keyhole...
Come to think of it, isn't it kind of funny that both Traverse Town and Twilight Town have he initials TT? I mean, it probably doesn't matter, but it's a bit odd. Feh. Irrellivant...

No, I don't think I did anything...I actually went back in a new file, tried the Hotel trick, and it still wasn't working very well. D:

Strange... I'm going to assume you've never used any cheats, right? At least not permanently?
(I used a cheat disk to make Sora immortal once, so I could watch Sephiroth's attacks in first person... It was really funny... lol He was throwing EVERYTHING at me, and I'm just sitting - er, standing there humming... perfectly fine... hahaaa... I NEVER use a cheat to progress in a game though. I didn't use it to beat Sephiroth - that would have gone completely against my gaming ethics. I didn't save after I beat him, that time.)

Using cheats for progressing the game is for losers. I will only use cheats for fun, like make a character dress in a mini skirt, there was one game that let me do that, I forgot what it was called. XD

Yeah - that stuff's okay (though I STILL refuse to save a cheat), but using it to level up your charecters and things like that? That's just... low.

Actually, for your KH:CoM question, I don't think you would be TOTALLY lost. You'll miss out and you'll be lost on some parts, but they do provide some explanations as for what happens. Plus in the journals they tell you about some of the characters you won't see make a return on KH2. I think you'll be fine-- but I DO recommend going to play that first. Actually, I had the hardest time ever finding the white mushrooms, and I couldn't get the bouncers like, at all-- if you want to attempt that, try going for the ones on the ship in Neverland. If neither of those mushrooms work, just look for the normal Mushrooms (or w/e they're called, the purple ones). It may take you a while (it took me two hours to find three Mystery Goos) but this is like a plan C. The two places I found where they show up is the Moonlight Hill in Halloween Town and the Agrabah Bazaar (I believe the Bazaar-- correct me if I'm wrong). Good luck getting everything... by the way. heart
