Oh no, oh no.

She had only taken her eyes off of the Deep Space Senshi for a second, she was sure of it. There was no way she could have gotten this far ahead of her, in such a short moment. Had she already run by Wezen in her panic to find her and make sure she did not get into trouble?

Sinistra came to a stop, puffing, though it was more out of fear than actually being tired. Being a Super Senshi had its perks, and that helped in her cardio. Her heart was thundering anyway, and she looked around again to try and spot the wayward alien.

For her own part, Wezen had not orchestrated any great escape. She did wander off, but she was often distracted by things and often wanted to ask about them when she and Sinistra were on patrol. She had simply seen a strange looking plant on a window sill, a spikey looking thing, and went to examine it further. By the time she returned, Sinistra was gone.

Having less common sense than a small child, Wezen decided to just keep patrolling rather than opting to stay put and wait for her roommate to come back to her. She could handle herself, when it came down to it, though she did not know Sinistra was always with her because of a need to play bodyguard and babysitter. She just thought they were partners and worked well on patrol together.

Now, though, she felt that strong pull of Chaos nearby. She forgot about Sinistra entirely, following that aura and hoping to find its source so she might snuff it out quickly. Chaos consumed everything, even the already dead, so she could only imagine in nightmares what it would do to this fairly lovely planet.

Diesel didn't like to complain about it, because that was pretty much all everyone did was gripe about what a tedious chore draining was, that barely felt worth the time and effort- And okay, yeah, that did seem pretty true. But he didn't like to complain about it, because the alternative might be having nothing to do and being a nobody, and as far as expenses-for-something-in-return went, this seemed fine?

It was fine. He didn't even really have to do it that often or for that long.

And there was always that extra chance of a side benefit of something more interesting happening, anyway. Like tonight, it seemed. It wasn't every night that some Order aura picked up on his senses radar. And even sometimes when it did, the owner of said aura seemed intent to avoid him, making for all chase and no resolution. Or sometimes he couldn't be bothered to chase it, if he was doing something else. As he had been just now.

He spared a few moments, draining this guy who'd gotten out of an Uber, probably to go to some restaurant for some meeting, and Diesel had ruined his whole night already, anyway, so leaving this dude passed out in an alley somewhere didn't seem like the worst thing he could do at this point. And it was only, only because he felt that Order aura coming closer that he decided to keep the incapacitated random stranger guy close. It wasn't, like, super often that the enemy would try and pull something on him if there was an 'innocent bystander' in between him and them. And he was going purely off how quickly that Order aura seemed to approach to clue him in on what sort of confrontation he might expect.

Couldn't imagine it was coming at him to 'talk things out.'

Diesel kept himself mostly out of the way, back to a brick wall down an alley, with his new, unconscious friend laying on the ground in front of him: a meager barricade for whatever rounded the corner. So when he saw the blond girl, saw how she was actively looking for him, saw her expression- This basic senshi? Out hunting alone? With intentions to accomplish... what, exactly?

"Coming in a little hot?" He offered curiously. "You, like, know this dude, or something?"

"I do not know him, and my body temperature is normal," Wezen assured, looking the scene over with colorful, yet oddly listless and calm eyes. She held up her hand, ready to use her magic if she needed to, though she was unsure if the human nearby the Chaos agent was dead or not. If he was dead, then it would make using her magic a foregone conclusion.

If he was not, then he was probably in for an even rougher night than he had already endured. His being there was not enough to temper Wezen's hatred of Chaos, and she was not well trained enough in human sentimentalities to feel bad for endangering a human civilian.

After all, she knew her magic would not kill anyone. It would just provide her an opening, if she needed one, to either attack or escape. At the moment, she had no intention of running. Distantly, she felt a familiar Super Senshi aura, but it was still too far for her to give it any real thought. If Sinistra wanted to come and help, then good.

"You are Chaos. This planet deserves one less of your kind on it."

Wezen was not cocky, so much as oblivious in her fearlessness. She came from a planet of pure silence and death, and her hatred of Chaos stemmed from that, when she was able to compare it to a planet so full of life like this one. If she was brought here for anything, it had to be to protect it. To chase away every ounce of Chaos she could, in small and large gestures. Anything she could do. But her lessons from Sinistra rang in her head. She always said to avoid fighting, when possible.

It probably did not apply when actively picking the fight, but still.

"I will give you a chance to leave, out of human courtesy. This is that chance."
