Edit: I'll start off by saying we should do contests
Some contest suggestions:
- Cosplay Arena themed prizes
- Costume themed prizes (ex. 4 Seasons; Kimono; Swimwear, Hot springs)
- Screenie photo contests
The prizes could be funded thru announcements asking for donations thru the guild's account

SUMlRE I'll start off by saying we should have an account for guild donations, we can keep track of donations in another thread titled Hidden Leaf's Treasury and we can use those funds for arena/avi/screenie contests

Another suggestion;
Is to establish guild officers!
One in charge of keeping track of donations, like a Treasurer
And Vice Captain to help keep the guild active
Recorder/Historian (in charge of screenies)
Events Coordinator (in charge of contests/events)
Maybe when we get more members settled in, we'll have more volunteers
I am already eyeing a certain sensei

You're right... there are so many things we can do to offer a better experience smile In order for all of that to be implemented, we need more people involved to assign them some responsibilities, as you said. Let's remember that the entire purpose of having this guild is to have fun and enjoy a little Naruto experience during our day. We don't want it to become a source of stress for anyone. That being said, if anyone is interested in being part of the "Konoha Council" and taking on some responsibilities, I will open a thread where you can share your interest. I would like to mention two conditions: - we will be extremely careful about creating new sub-forums (because there is no way to delete them), so we would prefer to create special threads in the general forum. - Also, please note that the purpose of this guild is not for role-playing, so we kindly ask that you don't suggest a role-playing section.

THE H0KAGE I would like to mention two conditions: - we will be extremely careful about creating new sub-forums (because there is no way to delete them), so we would prefer to create special threads in the general forum. - Also, please note that the purpose of this guild is not for role-playing, so we kindly ask that you don't suggest a role-playing section. I am curious, if this will not have roleplay as one of the main focus point then that means this guild is not much more then a private social hub for Naruto nerds. How do you plan to keep the interest of the guild members if you are taking out one of the main aspects of what a group on Gaia strives for?

In the meantime for the guild owner, I would suggest putting *Not a roleplay guild* in the home page, just so people don't get the wrong idea, if they plan on joining for such reasons. Other than that, there are many ways to keep a guild active, such as the anime/manga discussion, cosplay discussion, sharing art, contests, prizes and building new friendships!

I agree with Sumire that maintaining a roleplay guild requires a lot of time. However, there are many things we can do to keep the guild active. Let's be honest, nobody really talks about guilds, homes, or clans anymore. Town servers are always empty. It's mostly the chatterbox that's active. Our intention was to use different Gaia features to offer Naruto-related places for fans to enjoy. For example, you can actually find a Gaia Home in Teuchi-Ichiraku Ramen's profile that's similar to Ichiraku. I appreciate your comments, and I hope you decide to stay. I'm sure you'll find it amusing and make great friendships.

Well... Madara left the village. I personally think there are many interesting things we can do without being a roleplaying guild, but I'm always interested in listening to your suggestions too.. biggrin
