Fang needed to distract himself. So many things were just... just piling up in his head, and he didn't know if he had any more room in there to hold it all. He didn't want to hurt himself again—not after Zac had expressed that he would prefer it if Fang didn't do that anymore—but finding other outlets was difficult. He didn't like the idea of keeping some silly squeeze toy in his subspace... He was supposed to be horrible and intimidating like this, right? To defeat Chaos? He shook his head, snarling under his breath. Too many thoughts. Too much to deal with. He needed... Ah. The dark miasma of a Negaverse aura flared and he prowled towards it, ready to sink his claws into whatever idiot dared to be out taking energy or starseeds tonight.

Valjean exhaled. It had been a fairly good night for draining, all things considered, and he'd amassed quite the good sized haul. Things were winding towards their resolution with Faustite, but that didn't mean that he was slowing down--they had to keep him going until the 23rd. Ensure that he survived.
So, extra energy it was, to keep his General from turning to dust before they had the chance to save him.
He'd long since walked away from his previous draining victim, and tucked his haul into subspace. But he could feel the approach of an Order aura, and sighed. Someone was going to cause him problems tonight, it seemed.
"We don't have to do this," he called. "You can turn around and walk away. You're too late to stop me, anyway."

Fang snarled again. "Maybe not tonight, but can mess you up for future," he hissed, launching himself at Valjean and calling out his magic. "Slash!" At the same time, he kept swinging his arm forward, just in case the magic he called on, that he needed in this moment, didn't appear. If his magical scratches didn't work, there was always a solid punch to the jaw on the follow through. Noir Songbird Fang swipes once at his target, and the ghostly paw of a Chrysocyon with claws extended springs forth, causing the appearance and sensation of shallow scratches that burn slightly if it hits. This lasts for about thirty seconds, has three uses, and has a range of ten feet. This can tear through clothes or can cause lasting damage at player discretion. DSS magic can flub up tho

Ah. This was one of those inhuman Senshi, Valjean was fairly certain. The ones mentioned in the database. He was huge, taller even than Valjean, which would be a feat for an ordinary human, and the ears and tail he was sporting didn't look fake, or like a part of his Senshi uniform. Definitely not human, then, and not one that Valjean had seen recorded in the database, which meant a full unknown.
And he was very angry.
Well, ******** dodged the swing of his fist, but not the swing of magical claws; they ripped into his arm, and Valjean hissed, drawing his fist back to punch. He aimed an uppercut for the oversized Senshi's chin; often, a solid punch there could leave someone dizzy and willing to get the hell out of the way.
Valjean really, really hoped it worked this time; he wasn't exactly interested in tangling with someone bigger than him, with aggressive magic, who was clearly all too happy to square up.

Fang snarled again in vicious triumph as his magic worked and sent claw marks down Valjean's arm. Good. At least something hit. He wanted to do more, to mark the man up further, make him regret ever coming out at night to steal energy, to be a thief of life. Fang wanted to make this man suffer the way he made others suffer, and not even the way the man was fighting back would stop him. The knock on his chin hurt and he stumbled backwards, jarred, but he shook his head vigorously, eyes lighting up with more fire as he held his ground, feet firmly on the ground. "Now you make Fang angry," he said lowly, launching himself at Valjean again. This time, he didn't bother risking his magic—it was rare that it would work twice in a row, and with how riled up he was, he doubted he'd get that rare luck. No, this time, he was actually going for the jugular, mouth open wide to bite, hands reaching out to grab Valjean by the shoulders to pin him in place.

Oh, this was not going to be fun. Usually a hard punch functioned as a deterrent, but apparently not for this big, angry dog. Worse, Valjean's arm burned where the claws had hit.
And he fought like an animal--launching like a literal predator, mouth open, and Valjean did not want to find out what teeth attached to his neck, ready to maul, could do. No, nope, absolutely not. He dove out of the way--inelegant, and ending with him having to roll over to get back to his feet, but at least he wasn't getting <******** bit.
"Sorry, don't let just anyone put their teeth on me."
The good news was, he had more information. Fang. That was good for the database. Might not be a full name, but it was worth shoving into the entry.
He shifted his weight, aimed a kick at Fang's back, hoped the momentum was enough to let him land a solid hit.

Fang yowled in anger when he missed—when that accursed Chaos Senshi dodged out of the way! The anger boiled deep in his gut, clouding all of his rational thought, narrowing the world down to prey and predator. Unfortunately for Fang, this prey was smart, and with a kick to his back, brought Fang sprawling forward, asphalt scraping him up. He stood on wobbly legs, the pain lancing through him—s**t, that had really hurt. "Go. Home," he snarled, snapping his teeth at the Chaos Senshi again. He knew he wouldn't be able to fight much longer, so hopefully his fake display of dominance and strength would scare the other into going home instead of continuing to commit evil acts.

Good. The kick worked, and this snarling beast of a Senshi was down, at least briefly, which meant there were no more teeth aimed at vulnerable parts of Valjean.
He inhaled, tensely. This was not a fight he wanted to continue, and as loathe as he was to follow orders from someone not his General, the best he could do was smile, wave, and then disappear into the night.
