Standard Roleplay Rules:

• Do not god-mode any non-god Faekat (Even with Deities please make sure the other player is aware of what will be happening). If your RP is going to include elements of god-moding you MUST clear it with the other player first.
• Respect all Deities if your character knows they are a Deity. If you disrespect a God, well, it would not end up well for your kat.
• This should be a given but no incest, rape or child abuse allowed in roleplay. Follow all Gaia ToS rules. If your roleplay is going to fall into heavy or darker themes consider a trigger warning in the title. If your Roleplay begins to slip into spicy territory, please fade to black at an appropriate time.
• Do not police how other people choose to play their Kats, even if you have given them a Kat. If something violates a rule and you have a valid reason for being concerned bring it to Management to look into. Do not take matters into your own hands.
• Owners cannot play an opposite alignment than the one granted to them. Ebil is Ebil. Good is Good. Special alignments must be approved by management.
• Your characters, your Kats, do not innately have the knowledge you have about ongoing plots that they are not involved in. Unless someone told them something IC'ly, or they are involved (directly or indirectly and have been IC'ly informed), they should not know about whatever is happening in every single plot in the guild/Discord or about other characters' personal/private lives. Just a reminder! (RP's, Plots, OOC convo's, etc. should not be common knowledge among the actual IC character/s if they aren't currently in the middle of it. lol)

Alignment Rules: Good, Ebil, Neutral

Good
• Good Faekats are what make the land of Faetasia thrive. There should always be a surplus of good Faekats in the world, or the balance will be thrown. The magic of Faetasia is generally love magic!
• Good Faekats generally try to get along with ebil ones, but it doesn't always succeed.

Neutral
• These races strive for balance in everything that they do. Of course, some lean closer to good and ebil than a true balance, but they're not extreme in any real sense.

Ebil
• These Faekats are more inclined to be bad or evil and often do not share the moral compass of Good aligned Faeakts.
• Ebil Faekats generally cannot stand the goody-two-shoes antics of good Faekats and avoid them except when trying to cause trouble and sow dissent.

Various Racial RP Rules:

Angelics/Dark Angelics
• Angelics are good. Dark Angelics are Bad.
• Angelics are only 25% the strength of an Angelique. They are roughly the same strength and power as a Methuselah Vampire. However, Angelics have divine magic which works wonders with undead. Even Dark Angelics can ward off undead.

Angeliques
• Angeliques are the mates of deities, and only deities. Demi-gods do not have angeliques as they are not true deities.
• If a God and Angelique split up, the Angelique returns to being an Angelic.
• Angeliques are fiercely loyal to their Deity and share an incredibly powerful and almost unbreakable bond with them. However, this does not mean they cannot have their own opinions, personality, thoughts, emotions, etc.

Deities
• Deities are no longer required to take an Angelic as their mate. However taking one as a mate is the only way to produce God children.
• If a Gen 1 or 2 Deity decides they want to partner with a non-angelic/dark angelic/Angelique they cannot officially mate to them but may, instead, become partners.
• Deities are no longer required to be monogamous. They can breed with multiple other kats if they wish.
• Racial Deities are inherently more powerful than Domain Holding Deities. This should not be abused between Deities, and there should not be any lesser respect shown from mortals/immortals toward Domain-holding Deities as they are still gods. But Racial Deities will have stronger magic/strength due to the magic of the races they have created amplifying their strengths.
• Deities are powerful but you should not godmode them.
• User Owned Racial Deities can no longer be claimed without the owner's permission.

Demi-Gods
• Demi-Gods are just a little over the normal strength of mortals.
• Demi-Gods do not come with any special abilities. They just have heightened strength, hearing, seeing, intelligence, and speed.

Demons
• Demons are naturally evil creatures who typically mate with evil pets. It is rare a demon would mate a good kat.
• Demons are natural tricksters and untrustworthy sorts. Don't be surprised if you end up double-crossed at some point. They are dangerous allies.
• Demons and Vampires are enemies. Demons and Werewolves are enemies. Nobody likes a Demon, not even other Demons.

Demoniques
• Demoniques can lifemate with gods (babies would be gods, same as with angeliques). They are pretty much the demon form of angeliques, except that they don't need a god to sustain their powers while an Angelique cannot be an Angelique without a god as a lifemate. Demons be rebels, yo.

Freaks and Freakazoids
• Freaks are just that. Freaks. They are considered unnatural and strange to normal Kats and generally are anomalies in the Faekat world.

Faeries
• Faeries have illusionary magic. They are masters of illusions.
• Faeries must choose either a good or ebil alignment. There are no neutral Faeries.
Faeries have a 25% chance to have Faerie offspring even when breeding with other Faeries. All other offspring are regular offspring though some may have decorative wings.

Holykats
• Holykats must always be played as good, pure, and religious in manner. They are nice and kind, even to their enemies. They attack their enemies only because they are sure that they need healed and just fail to see that. Holykats are never mean, never insulting. Think Paladin.
• Holykats can only mate with good pets. They do not breed unless they have a mate and then they only breed with that mate.

Unholykats
• Unholykats hate mortals. They will never socialize with them unless it's out of sheer necessity. If an unholykat is found befriending a mortal, running a mortal business, or adopting some aspect of mortal life, they will most likely be turned mortal.
• Unholykats have no heart. None. It's gone. It's dead. It's withered up inside and most likely dust. Therefore, they are mean to everyone. They tolerate each other because of their god. The only one they are nice to is their God. They cannot question or show disrespect to their God.
• Unholykats can breed with any evil pet that they see fit but they should not, absolutely should not fall in love.

Vampires
• Vampires grow in strength as they age. So naturally if one vampire fights an older vampire, the younger one will lose. Respect your elders. They can kill you.
• Vampires may take mortals as mates but ONlY if it fits their character and ONLY with the permission of an Elder.
• Vampires can breed with any other evil pets without being in love. Babies do not come out half-vampire. Half-vampire is no longer a race. Babies come out mortal.
• Only non-elite/non-special races can be embraced. Freaks, Angelics, Angeliques, Holykats, Unholykats, Gods, etc cannot be embraced. They are already special.
• Offspring with parents in Vampire clans do not get an instant membership to the Clan. They are indeed Clanless unless they petition to join and the elders in the clan decide to let the offspring join.
• Roleplaying with a Vampire will not get your mortal Faekat Embraced or in a clan. Getting embraced is special, and your Faekat must fit the clan to even be considered.
• Ghoulship is now allowed if approved by a clan Elder or above. However, ghouls require a lot of time and effort, so if you turn a kat into a ghoul be prepared to care for them like a pet.
• When you feed with your vampire, it is recommended (unless you are of the Sabbat Sect) to lick the wound so that it disappears. Make sure the owner of the pet you fed off of is aware that their pet will not remember being bitten, it will not have been a painful experience (unless clan information says otherwise) and they will not ruin the masquerade by running around screaming "Oh my god, I've been bitten by a vampire". They should not even know your kat was a vampire. Again, Sabbat excluded. The Sabbat are violent. If a Sabbat feeds off you, I feel sorry for you. Live with it. You still shouldn't know it's a vampire unless they specifically say they were one. You can, however, have your kat claim to have been attacked.

Werewolves
• Males or Females may be dominant in a werewolf pack.
• Males and Females do the pack's hunting, attacking, and child-raising. The alpha often assigns these duties.
• Werewolves should be cautious when choosing a mate outside of their pack as it can cause problems. A Werewolf must always be in the same pack with their mate. So if they mate with a member of another pack they leave to join that pack or their mate joins their pack.
•Werewolves naturally hate vampires, demons, zombies, unholykats and other undead.
• Werewolves are highly territorial. Invade their space, you're in their face.

Zombies
• Zombies do not feel love.
• Zombies are evil.
• Zombies feed off the flesh of the living. No, you cannot feed off other faekats. Go kill a deer.
• Zombies may occasionally give birth to a mortal child if the other parent was mortal. However, the zombie parent will discard them so they will need raised by the mortal parent.
• Zombies can only breed with evil pets.

Various Racial RP Rules:

Baddies
• Baddies cannot be good unless permission granted in the form of a special edition.
• Baddies are natural bullies.
• Baddies are natural candidates for evil things such as vampirism and unholykat status.

Buck
•Bucks are territorial. No two male bucks should get along. Tolerated on occasion yes, but not get along.
• Bucks find themselves superior to all females. They often assume a female is theres even if she really isn't.

Cosplays
• Cosplays do not acquire every attribute that the character it is based off of has. If you do that, it will be seen as godmoding and you could end up banned, especially if the abilities are not 'of the faekat world'. The only way for it to have special abilities like the character is for them to be specific ones and for the race to fit with one of the Faetasia races that could possibly have that ability. Same with features. If a character has exceptionally large wings it may need to be an Angelic or Dark Angelic Cosplay OR if it is a character with Vampirism it will need to be a Vampire Cosplay.
• Cosplay Kats may be redone if the owner of the original goes inactive.

Draekat
• Draekats do not need a partner to breed. They can summon an egg through the will of their magic. Magical reproduction is not needed. Because of this though, Draekats only have one egg at a time if alone.

FaeBear
• FaeBears are naturally lazy and peaceful. You should never roleplay an aggressive bear unless the bear feels threatened in some way. An aggressive bear is a force to be reckoned with.

FaeDragon
• FaeDragons are a honorable race. They are seldom ever mean, to them honor is the most important thing they have.
• FaeDragons believe that they should take care of a females every need and that the female should not have to do mundane chores such as hunting or fighting.
• Every FaeDragon has a magic breath of some kind. It can be Fire, Smoke, Acid or Ice.

FaeElves
• Unless a special edition, FaeElves must come from a group. The options are Aquatic, Sun, Wood, Moon, Dark, and High. Each elf has a unique belief and/or alignment.
• FaeElves should play similar to the beliefs their race is a part of. A Dark Elf should be evil for example. Cold, uncaring, etc.

FaeFox
• FaeFox are sneaky tricksters. You should always try to play your Fox as slyly and cunning as possible. They also may be inclined to steal things.

FaeRabbits
• FaeRabbits don't feel their life is a success unless they settle down and have a large family. They are the only race that is family oriented.

FaeSkunks
• Yes, FaeSkunks can spray. Yes, it stinks. Yes it's unavoidable, pets cannot dodge or avoid stinking for a short time. However, such sprays should only happen defensively. You simply should not mess with a Skunk. XD

FaeSquirrel
• FaeSquirrels are attention whores. They especially love attention from female races.
• FaeSquirrels are not aggressive races. Try not to pick fights with them. They like to avoid such confrontations as they don't want damage their 'good looks'.

Felicorns

Female Felicorns (Just as a reminder)
These unicorns have the ability to heal themselves and others that are injured. They can run so fast that they can appear to fly, running through the air. They leave a trail of rainbow color and sparkles behind them as they run, which fades a few minutes later. They love colors and will often surround themselves with it so you are more likely to find a unicorn in a field of flowers rather than a cave. They are very trusting and full of love, so hurting a unicorn is a grave thing. They will defend one another with a fierceness you would not expect of such a gentle creature. Their magic can be used to protect them as well, so if you end up zapped with a lightning bolt or trapped in a bubble for awhile, don't say you weren't warned. All female felicorns are good.

Male Felicorns
These felicorns are based a bit on the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Each one comes with a single domain (War, Famine, Pestilence, or Death) and can have strong magical abilities and attacks based on them. They absolutely must be evil.

Meeki's Male Felicorns
They are known as the Apocalypse Felicorns, the jack of all trades when it comes to the males. While the "normal" males are based on a single domain (War, Famine, Pestilence, or Death), the Apocalypse are a mix of all four. This means they have magical abilities of each one and are a force to be reckoned with. Because of the combination of domains, they are unstable and can range from simply eccentric and/or insane to being completely sociopathic.

Elite Male Felicorns
They will be slightly edited to fit one of the domains. They will be three times stronger than a normal male felicorn! So they are considered the elites. Male felicorns don't have elected leaders. Their "leaders" are the strongest of the strong, the baddest of the bad, and the elites definitely fit the bill.

Special Note: Despite being evil/twisted, no male felicorn can harm a female of their race. It's physically impossible for them. This is largely in part to the magic and pure love of the females.

Kryenae
• Kryenae are perhaps the most powerful of the regular and common races. The depths of their telekinesis powers are undefined. Definately use telekinesis to your advantage. You can have your kryenae fly with it, move things and such with the power of their mind.
• Never roleplay a stupid Kryenae. They are intelligent beings naturally.
• Never roleplay a mean Kryenae unless permitted by me through a special edition. Kryenae are naturally gentle.

Lizards
• Only the Virtue Pirate lizards are pirates. All other lizards have to be servants, slaves, or workers of some kind.
• Lizards should always consider the Virture Pirates their elders and accept a submissive role around the original seven.
• Lizards are naturally submissive due to their upbringing. They often do not act out or speak out against anyone.

Lothfera
• Although lothfera are distant relatives to the faeelves they do not have the same racial groupings as them so much. However, they do tend to associate based on common alignments.
• Lothfera live off the land, and prefer more natural settings to those of the city, but can and do live there as needed. Many still prefer forms of nature about them.
• Lothfera tend to not to get into fights unless provoked - even the evil ones tend to prefer not instigating a fight, although there are a few exceptions. Lothfera will however fight if threatened or someoen else attacks.

Maedra
• Maedra are a mischievous race. They should play tricks whenever possible.

Majerae
• Old Majerae are the powerful ones. New Majerae have about 25% of the true Majerae's power. Yes, the old Majerae are bald and pupiless, but that is merely because of the raw magical energy that flows throughout their body.

Meanki
• Meanki are a violent, narcissistic and egotistical female race. Please do not play your meanki nice, naive or innocent and definately not 'good' unless she came by that alignment from me in a rarer and/or special edition type meanki.

Nymphae
• Though not physically as beautiful as the other races, Nymphae ooze natural charm so they can get what they want anyway. It's very hard for a race to refuse a Nymphaes charm. You might have to remind some owners of that in OOC brackets. Rarer or stronger races can ignore the charming effects of a Nymphae though.

Pures
• Pures are nice in all aspects. They dislike evil races with a vengeance.
• Pures are the best candidates to become clerical type pets for good races, as well as holykats. Pures are naturally a step above the other common races when it comes to good intentions.
• Pures cannot be evil unless special permission granted in a form of a special edition.

Rabbits
• Only the Sin Rabbits can become pirates. All other male rabbits have to be servants, slaves or workers of some kind.
• Rabbits are naturally mean. Unlike their female FaeRabbit, these rabbits are wild and untamable. Think fearsome bunnies.

Regulars
• Regulars are the best candidates for vampirism.
• Regulars must stay true to their alignments.
• Regulars believe in love above all the other races. They should not breed without a mate if possible. MILD flinging is ok, but it must have some love there. They will not breed without love..

Sirens
• Sirens can only leave the water for very limited moments. No more than twenty minutes a day.
• Sirens only keep female offspring. Male children often go to the fathers and look like their fathers.
• Sirens only care for males to flirt with or breed with. Often they get their enjoyment out of making land-based females jealous. Sirens do not really care for males in general.
