Happy Easter, Guildlings! This year, as an homage to Spain and the recent games in Paldea, we are hosting a festival for everyone! From now until July 1st, there will be a 'week-long parade and festival. Enjoy floats and balloons of pokemon, vendors walking around with their stock, stalls for games, and even an egg hunt!
Games?!
-Bun-Ear-y Ring toss! tab Throw rings towards the bun bun shaped targets. Ring around one of the ears?! Score! You win a small prize! Manage to get 3 rings in one go?! SCORE! You win a medium prize! Manage to get ALL your rings?! OH MY ARCEUS! You win a LARGE prize! tabtab There are many Buneary shaped targets along the back wall. The vendor hands you 5 rings per day. Roll a d10 per ring thrown, anything over 6 is a score!
-Psyduck Water guns! tab Squeeze the Psyduck to shoot water at a target. The longer the water is hitting the target, the faster the bar fills. Race your friends to fill the bar to the Torchic Balloon. First person to fill their bar wins a Medium Prize! Second place wins a small prize! tabtab There is a booth with 5 psyduck 'water guns' in a row. Pressing along the side of the psyduck shoots water. Aim at the target to fill the bar. You can play against NPCs, or other players. Roll a d20 to aim. 12 and better hit the target. There are 3 'levels' to the Torchic balloon. Each level needs a new roll. If playing alone with NPCs, you may have a mod roll for them or depending on what you roll you will get either first or second. 3 successes will equal a first place. If playing with other characters, rolls will decide who comes first. This game can only be played once per day.
-Chansey Egg Race tab Take one of Chansey's eggs and run wild! ON A SPOON! Race against friends to see who makes it to the end of the race with the egg still on the spoon. First place wins a Medium prize! Second place wins a small prize! tabtab A vendor and his Chansey set the racers with a spoon and a matching colored plastic egg. Race along the small 10ft span to see who wins. Roll a d20, the higher number wins the race.
-Marbles tab Don't lose your marbles; throw them instead! Using large marbles, you'll have five chances to throw them into a table with holes, each with a different value. You'll earn a prize based on the number of points you rack up. Generate a number 1-50 five times to determine your score.
1-100: Small prize 101-200: Medium prize 201-250: Large prize
-Egg Hunt Float tab At the beginning and end of the parade are large, interactable floats. Join the fun and find an egg! Who knows, you may win something super cool. tabtab Once per week, roll a d20. Depending on what is rolled, that's the egg you find! You may exchange points for prizes at the Egg Hunt booth on the float. tabtabtab 1-5 -Regular white egg: 1 point! tabtabtab 6-10 - Speckled egg: 3 points! tabtabtab 11-15 -Stickered egg: 5 points! tabtabtab 16-19 - Golden egg: 10 points! tabtabtab 20 - Platinum egg: 25 points!
Activities?!
Make Your Own Float tab Largely for fun, this art-and-crafts class has three phases of preparation to make a portable float! Each phase requires a certain number of posts to complete, and in the end, your masterpiece will be judged and given a score. You'll get a nice reward for your effort, depending on how well you do! For each post, please make note of what points were added or lost, link to your rolls, and keep track of your total score!
Step 1:Cover your float! (2 Posts Minimum) Measure out your wrapping paper and wrap your cardboard box. Roll a 6-sided di for each post:
1: Whoops! Your float isn't supposed to look like that, is it? Go ahead and try again, adding an additional roll to this phase. 2-6 = Congrats! You can measure and tape with the best of them!
Tally your total between the rolls, and record it in your post!
Step 2:Decorate! Decorate! Decorate! (3 Posts) Roll a 6-sided di for each post:
Post 1: Tape your axle, wheels, and tape to the underside of your float. There's nothing complex about this step.
Post 2: Grab your stickers, pipe cleaners, construction paper, etc.! It's time to start decorating. If you rolled a 1, your decoration skills don't go as planned, -2 from your final score.
Post 3: A float's not a float without glitter! You'll need a deft hand as you toe the line between too much and not enough. If you roll a 1, it's not enough; -2 to your total score at the end of this activity. If you rolled 2-5, you did well. If you rolled a 6, it's PERFECT! You get an additional +2 to your score from this phase! Add both negative and positive values to your score from Phase One, and record it in your post.
Step 3:Add your final details! (2 posts min.) Time's almost up; give your float a few last-minute touch-ups! Roll a 6-sided di for each post: Post 1: Roll a 6-sided die
Post 2:You may choose to roll a 6-sided di for final points OR risk it all with a 12-sided di:
1-3 = Things didn't go so well—you only get the value of your previous post to add to your total score. 4-10 = Add the number you rolled this turn to your first roll from this phase, then add them to your total score. 11-12 = Add an additional twenty points to your total, along with your first roll's value.
Prizes: (tbd)
Egg Dyeing tab Join the stall to decorate your own eggs. Afterward, you can keep or donate them to the floats for egg hunts! The more, the merrier! This activity only takes 3-4 posts and yields small rewards. But rp wise, it's cute and fun!
Step 1: Prepare your dyes Requires: 6 points to accomplish. You may roll one six-sided die per post. Once you have obtained 6 points or more, you may progress to step 2.
Step 2: Dye your eggs Requires: 12 points to accomplish. However, if you roll a 1, you must subtract 2 from the number of points you have, even if it goes negative Once you have obtained 12 points or more, you may progress to step 3
Step 3! Decorate your eggs Requires: 7 points to accomplish. If you roll a 6 on your first post, you get an additional +1 point to finish early!
Prizes: If donate the egg, you recieve (tbd)
Hedge Maze Don't let its cutesy appearance fool you. This elaborate, egg-shaped maze has more than a few ways to get a participant lost. Not only are you in search of a way out, but you've also heard rumors that it's a good spot to go hunting for prizes, so keep an eye out while you wander! Be aware you can only go through up to 4 times!
How to Play: To make your way through the maze, roll a 12-sided die. 1-8: Progress 10 ft. 9-11: You find a Togepi plushie. Keep hold of it! You may find more. Also, progress 5 ft. 12: You don't make progress at all but find a coupon. Good for one small prize.
You must make it at least 30 feet to reach the first checkmark, where you can leave, gain a prize, and exchange your Togepi plushies for a small selection of gifts.
