Demeter felt much better about patrolling on her own after that lesson in self-defense from Murikabushi. She felt more fortified, more prepared. Like she could actually take on someone of her own size that tried to come at her for yelling at them to stop, y'know, trying to kill people. She couldn't just sit idly by when people were dying (or even just being drained), not now that she could do something about it.

So when she sensed the Chaos Senshi aura flare up nearby, she ran headlong for it, not a single thought in her cute little brain. She wasn't so harmless anymore, not like before. She wouldn't take any of this laying down.

Guinevere was determined to keep going. She'd had so many setbacks recently as a Senshi, but she needed to prove herself. She needed to be like Tristan, earn her wings, be good and valuable for the Negaverse.

Oh, she was so desperate to be good and valuable.

So when she felt an Order aura, one that was weaker than her, she grinned. And stormed off toward it.

Without an ounce of hesitation, as soon as she saw white bodice, she blew a little, magical kiss.

"Tormenting Obsession!"

Demeter squawked, backing away quickly, but the fog enveloped her. She coughed and hacked at it, but... Within moments, it had affected her. She sprinted towards the Chaos senshi, screaming wordlessly for a moment.

"Give me Lete!" she shouted, forgetting everything that Murikabushi had taught her and just going for the tackle.

Ooooh, Lete sounded like a name. That was kind of cute, apparently there was a person living in this sweet little girl's head rent free! So much so that Gwen's magic had latched into it basically immediately!

How absolutely precious!

Guinevere grinned, dodging the Senshi's awkward, clumsy attack, and brought her fist around to aim at the girl's gut. A little scrap was, really, always a good time.

Demeter flew back, staggering and hitting the ground. Shoot! No, she couldn't give up now, not when she was so close to saving Lete—this stupid, awful girl was hiding bun somewhere, and Demeter could not, would not, allow Lete to come to harm. She didn't care about Chaos infighting crap, she only cared about Lete.

So she kicked out viciously, aiming for Guinevere's ankles. "Let! Bun! Go!" she snarled, rolling to get up immediately after.

Oh! Yes! Lete was definitely a person! And Guinevere's magic had clearly convinced this empty-headed little thing that Guinevere herself was....holding bun prisoner? Oh, how precious.

"And what if I don't want to?" Guinevere asked, skipping away from the kick. She twisted on her foot, and brought her leg around for a roundhouse kick of her own. "Or what if I don't know where she is anymore?"

Ah, this was fun! She could work this girl up, and then knock her down. And when it was done, maybe she'd go looking for this Lete, and find out exactly what the nature of her relationship was with this pretty little thing.

"Or maybe she doesn't want to be rescued."

Demeter got knocked back down by the kick and she snarled viciously-- but Guinevere's last words got to her. She felt gutted at the very idea. That Lete wouldn't want to be rescued, especially by Demeter. Her stomach twisted. Her heart weeped at the idea that Lete wouldn't want her around, that Demeter was just bothersome...

The fog cleared and she coughed, staring up at Guinevere. Why had that idea bothered her so much? Why did her heart quiver when she thought about not having Lete's attention?

"Oh," she said in a tiny voice, sounding shell shocked. "I think I'm a little bit gay."

Absolutely fantastic time for this.

Guinevere twirled and bounced, after her kick connected and her enemy went down. Oh, this was the best part—the part where she got to go for the kill, to strike her enemy and end this little dance. She was a predator on the hunt, and she had her prey in her sights.

And then, her prey had a realization.

And Guinevere stopped.

“….Oh, honey, are you just figuring that out? Because yeah, it’s not very heterosexual of you to get all obsessed with some pretty person like you just did. So obsessed you get violent over it.” She poked her cheek with a finger, sighed heavily, and came to a decision.

“Tell you what. I could totally kill you right now, or bring you in to get corrupted. It’d be mega easy, you are completely outclassed. But because that’s so cute, and I want you to have a chance with your cutiepie, I’ll let you walk away. But maybe, if you wanna live long enough to do anything about the big gay revelation you just had, like….don’t go attacking Chaos people who are stronger than you? Because that’s how you get dead, Pumpkin Spice.”

It was stupid. She shouldn’t spare someone for such a ridiculous reason. But….also….who was gonna know, anyway? And she wanted to. That was the important part.

Demeter cleared her throat, blushing and leaning away from the poke with a pout. Okay, so... Whatever. She'd think about this later, when her heart wasn't racing from the threat of murder.

"Th...thanks," she managed to stammer out, blushing hard at the thought of doing anything about... Thinking about Lete like...

She stood up and fled, trying not to do something stupid like cover her red face with her hands when she needed to see to run out of here.
