Stirling wasn’t sure that she should be doing this alone. She had met Lysithea, and the woman was quite kind, but…that was to be expected. She listened to Stirling’s plea and said that she would help but…that it would take a little time…that there was something that she had to do first and needed all of her wits about her for it, and, that was fair!
Still, the Squire hopped up onto the rooftop she had last met the corrupted Senshi on and pulled a bag of cheese curls out of her subspace pocket, yanking the bag open and beginning to shove the puffed snacks into her face.
They had been bought honestly, but…she was hungry..and though she should have saved them for later…she wasn’t.
The sudden flare of a Chaos aura had the Squire looking up, dagger in her hand before she thought about it…
No matter how much you planned for a simple talk, being prepared was good. Just in case.

It had been a week, and Lilith was antsy. Everything seemed to be coming into place to save Faustite, but the whole plan was so.....
Well. Risky. So many chances for things to go entirely wrong. So many ways for things to go entirely wrong. She was, truth be told, afraid. For herself. For her brother. For Faustite. For their whole team. But there was nothing she could do for them. She could only, at this moment, in this time, help herself.
Secure your own oxygen mask first, and all.
So she appeared on the roof where she'd met Stirling, and put up her hands when she saw that pretty unicorn horn dagger.
"It's me," she said. "Just following up. As promised?"

“Just checking!” Stirling nodded and let the dagger fade away, reaching in and taking another cheese curl before holding out the bag. “Want one? I have some news, I talked with Lysithea and she’s happy to help you but it has to be after the twenty third, she says she has to save her brother first and she’s not willing to do anything until then, if you’re okay with waiting?”
She hoped that the woman would be okay with waiting…because if not…well.
Stirling didn’t really have much of an answer so.
“She seemed happy to be asked though.”

It was almost automatic, Lilith reaching out and taking a cheese curl. But then, turning down a snack would just be rude, right?
"Thanks," she said, taking a bite. Admittedly, she couldn't be too upset about what she'd heard from Stirling--funny, that Lysithea's date was the same as her own. But then, they probably both wanted the same thing. "I'm fine with that. I....there are some things I need to tie up, and some things my disappearance might interrupt."
If one of Faustite's team members went AWOL, it might start investigations. Might raise suspicions of the plan being leaked. Might lead them to modify it, delay it--and any of those could lead to Faustitie's demise. That was unacceptable.
"Honestly, I'm just relieved to be properly in contact with a Princess. Those aren't easy to find, and that's sort of been the big rub in this whole...get out of the Negaverse. Plan."

Stirling nodded and took another cheese curl, looking thoughtful. “Well, good! Then I’ll keep in touch with you or whatever and when she’s ready I’ll help get a meeting together…but…mm…”
She looked thoughtful and held the bag out again. “You’re really actually sure that you want this? That this isn’t you trying to trick me because I’m nothing more than a stupid teenager that should shut my mouth and listen to adults and blah blah blah? Because, I do mean what I said before, the dagger will meet your eye and I’ll put more than enough force behind it that your eye won’t survive the meeting…but…if you’re really sure that you want it…mmm…”
Scuffing her foot on the rooftop, Stirling shrugged. “...Would you maybe want to come up and see my Wonder? I haven’t shown it off to anyone yet, and I really want to go back there…I miss it. And…you’re here and my Princess is going to be saving you so…I guess I should start trying to be your friend.”

Lilith nodded. "That's fine with me," she said. They could reconvene after everything with Faustite was done. After he was saved.
Or, well, she hoped that he was saved.
The threat made her blink, for a moment. She already very much knew that she was dealing with someone wholly unafraid of violence, and that was....weirdly encouraging, if she was entirely honest. At least she wouldn't be the only one willing to ******** a b***h up if it came down to it, so to speak.
"I promise. I'm serious. No need for the stabbing out of any eyes. I've been trying to figure out how to leave for months--my team's a mess, my boss is dying and he's the only thing holding this ragtag bunch of feral bastards together, and if they find out that I'm in love with a girl on your side, they will absolutely, one hundred percent, no hesitation kill me. As I don't want to die, I would really like to not be in the Negaverse anymore."
Maybe that wasn't a sincere belief in her heart. Maybe it wasn't noble. But it didn't have to be noble.
The offer to go to space, though? That made her excited.
"If you're serious, though," she extended her hand, "I'd love to see your Wonder. I've seen my girlfriend's planet, and it's gorgeous--I won't lie, that's one of the things I'm genuinely looking forward to."

Stirling blinked and tilted her head slightly. “Oh? I want to hear all about this girl you’re in love with…I…”
Her cheeks heated up and she glanced away though put the cheese curls back into subspace so they could eat them later. “There’s a friend of mine who I think I might almost kind of not really have a crush on? I don’t know. She’s way out of my league so I know I shouldn’t even bother trying but…you know.”
Reaching out, the Squire took the hand of the Corrupted Senshi and gave it a little, reassuring squeeze before closing her eyes and murmuring the phrase that would take them up to Stirling, the place.
