The command had been made and Heliodor had stepped up his energy game. Draining extra energy each week wasn’t a problem. Helio would do whatever was needed to help sustain Faustite as they worked to figure out the answer to his youma trying to gain control, but it was definitely mentally draining for himself. Not that he was going to complain. Again, He’d do anything for Faustite, but his time sleeping had shrunk to maintain the new requirements and the work involved to keep a roof over his head. Toss in that him trying to keep track of Waru and Faustite both to help out when he could and…well, he was leaning on old habits ingrained into him by a woman who intended to make sleep deprivation as a way to break him down.

Just keep moving, don’t ask questions, and do what needs to be done.

Helio was doing just that while yawning his exhaustion into a robed sleeve. The last dregs of energy hovered above his hand. The ‘gracious’ donor lay at the super’s sandal end feet, unconscious. Once upon a time, Helio would have chosen drunks and junkies for his victims but he didn’t have the time to donate to finding said people. Now, it was whoever happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The man, dressed in a suit, had slipped into the alleyway yelling at whoever was on the other line when Helio had found him.

The phone lay just out of the man’s reach, having been dropped as consciousness was lost. The person on the other side had continued their return tirade before the phone eventually went dark. Whatever had been going on, Helio figured a long hard nap hap to be better than arguing over the phone. He certainly thought so anyway.

The energy was banished to the negaverse to join the rest gathered. His quota was close to being completed for the week. Perhaps he could allot himself an extra hour or two of sleep tomorrow night? That was a pleasing thought. Perhaps Faustite and Waru would care to wile away some time curled up together in sleep. Helio hummed at the thought. Knowing the other two, they needed it as much as him. Maybe more.

Likely more.

Energy vibrated through Ida, and when she felt the sickly aura of a corrupt senshi, it seemed to thrum almost discordantly against her senses. Wrong. But also weirdly attractive? She hated it, but couldn't stop herself from seeking it out, letting her restlessness carry her across the rooftops. It took a little effort to pin point where it was coming from... things were never so straightforward that she could bee line to the source of trouble, and every false start built the tension and frustration higher.

By the time she finally found the right alley, Ida found wound tight and the victim was on the ground. She didn't think about it then, her frustration boiling over. She murmured as she threw her arm up, and petals followed, forming the shape of her familiar bow. Without warning, she draw back the string, formed the arrow and loosed it, straight at the corrupt. It roared as it passed between them and as the bow she held burst into sparkles, she moved to follow. With the arrow for cover, she dropped to the ground and rushed the corrupt, letting the explosion that followed burst outwards before she closed.

Hoping for the corrupt to be disoriented, she came in swinging for him, putting all her force, and all the days of built up energy, behind it. She gave no warning, and part of her reveled in that fact. In the feel of her body in motion and the anticipation of her fist connecting with flesh.

Helio had felt the aura of the eternal nearing. He had expected to come face-to-face with another of those self righteous types. The ones who would vocally berate him for his affiliation and actions were the most common Helio had come across, so it was the type he anticipated. So, the aggression that came with the Eternal as she appeared and began to attack was a shock to the super.

He narrowly dodged the arrow, the explosion both blinding and distracting. He caught sight of the senshi and teh fist headed from him just in time to turn himself and attempt to dodge. It was a failed maneuver as he felt the fist collide his his chest. It packed a doozy of a punch and Helio grunted loudly as he staggered away, the alley not allowing him to put too much distance between them.

Of course, the damn victim caused him to trip as he moved away, hands bracing against the brick wall that was whatever house or store they were nestled between. "The ********." He growled out as he spun, his magic already being summoned as he flung it at the Eternal that he was only now beginning to recognize.

"Roaring Cascade!" He watched as teh golden ring surrounded her feet.

"You would think a princess would have better manners." He ground out, as his side complained at his heavy breathing and movement.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Roaring Cascade
Visual: An opaque wall of hot water shoots up around the target before cascading inward and slamming down on the target.
Duration: Immediate effect lasts 35 secs
Effects: The pressure of water is great enough to make it difficult to move away and could knock the target off their feet. It can cause the sensation of severe bruising, up to second degree burns or drowning with lasting damage at players discretion.
Area of Effect/Range: Anywhere from Heliodor to up to 13 feet away from him. Can be used 2x per battle.
Preparation/Incantation: Snapping his fingers, a ring of small golden spheres appear around the targets feet just before the wall of water shoots upwards.

The arrow missed, but it had the intended effect to distract him and her fist connected, even if he almost dodged that too. Ida was not necessarily the best fighter, but years of experience had taught her some things. Add that to how keyed up she was lately and her attention was riveted on everything the other was doing.

He called out something and she saw the little spheres appear in a ring around her. That was all her warning and she jumped straight up, seeking to put distance between herself and whatever magic he was casting. She landed a few feet back as the water shot up where she'd been, steaming as it hit the air. Ida's soft face scowled, her lips curling. Coward. He'd drain a helpless civilian, but wouldn't face her head on?

The eternal lunged forward again, dodging around the fountain of water to rush him again, getting in close where magic would be hard to use. She had the advantage in strength and speed for this fight, and she fully intended to use it, pressing him with sharp, fast little punches to drive him backwards, maybe trap him against the wall. She had no response to his catty comment, but what would have been the point of responding? She didn't have to prove anything to his kind. What did she care if they thought her mannerless?

Its not like he'd shown manners, draining the poor man on the ground how he had. She doubted he'd stopped to introduce himself and ask for the energy he'd taken. And what manners said to leave the man like that? This corrupt would have just left him laying there, victim to the elements and anyone who happened along. Hypocrites.

Tight lipped. Goading and conversation weren't going to be a route out of this. The woman was ******** determined that was for certain. She moved with precision and sheer intent as she pursued Helio. Bypassing his attack to push against him with very physical based fighting. Not his forte, but if there was one thing he was, was quick on his feet. A benefit of dancing. So dodging was a viable plan but it meant she was able to push him in a direction of her choosing.

His back hit a wall. He dodged to the right, twisting out of the way, but a fist connected with his shoulder, slamming it and him back into the wall. It ******** hurt both the initial impact of her fist and the brick wall as his shoulder blades connected with it.

All of this over some energy. Crazy a** woman! It wasn't like he ripped the mans starseed out. What happened to the White Moon's interest in conversation before aggression. That was the norm he expected from these people.

To gain himself some distance, Helio dropped down along the wall. His impacted shoulder groaning in protest as he braced himself on the ground. Adrenaline was an incredible hormone, because without it he knew he'd be struggling more so. for now though, he was able to brace and swing his leg around and out to try and trip her up, or even better, force her to give him some space.

He dropped unexpectedly, her swing impacting brick rather painfully, crumbling it a little from the force. Taking a quick step back, she brought her knee up hard, uncaring what she hit as long as she hit something.

Never, in her whole career as a senshi, had Ida ever fought this way. She'd dusted hundreds of youma over the years and she'd gone hand to hand with a few officers, but always she was looking either to flee or drive them away. Not tonight, not with this man. A fierce sense of justice burned in her chest, mingling with the self-loathing and anxiety. It felt good to let it out this way. To direct all those bottled up feelings towards a focused point. He deserved this. He deserved even more than this!

He kicked out at her and she stumbled as he hit her ankle, making her slap her palms into the stonework to steady herself. That made her angry and she grabbed for him, searching for cloth or hair or limbs to wrap her fingers around and drag him back.

If she hit him enough times, maybe she'd stop feeling this way. If she hit him enough, maybe she'd find some peace.

<********!” He cursed when a knee collided with his forehead, slamming his head back to the brick with enough intensity to have his vision black for a short moment. A terrifyingly long moment for him.

Thankfully his next attack hit and she stumbled while he made a move to get out of easy range of her. He knew he needed to put some space between them. At the rate this fight was going, he began to worry she’d escalate it even further. And if that happened he damn well knew he’d be on the wrong end of a crystal. There was just so much anger and violence radiating from her. He wasn’t used to such aggression from an order senshi.

He was at a disadvantage being on the ground. He damn well knew it, but she’d forced his hand. In fact, this entire battle had been to her favor almost from the beginning. It was time to make an exit cause at this rate things weren’t going to end well for him.

As he scrambled away from her, he felt her hand graze a shoulder as she grabbed material. He felt the tug backwards, nearly went flat on his back from it, but caught himself. One hand grabbed at the offending hand while the other reached higher on the arm before he attempted to pull her down and over her shoulder. The intent was to lay her flat on her back, maybe even knock some wind out of her, but he wasn’t in the best of position, half turned toward her the way that he was.

Just a little bit of space and time. That was all he needed to make his escape.

“How about you piss the ******** off.” He ground out.

She got hold of him, but he pulled her off balance, sending her to one knee with her hand fisted in his clothes.

He deserved this for everything he'd ever done, and everything he might do in the future. She thought, with what thoughts were left to her. He was such a tiny bug of a man... if she squashed him, the world would be better for it. She'd bring some real justice, for all the people he had hurt. For all the people he had likely killed. Anything she could do to him was too light of a punishment.

She disentangled herself with a jerk of her arm and grabbed the front of his fuku with the other, surging to her feet with a burst of glowing petals and falling fabric. Her princess form gave her the strength she needed to haul him up bodily and throw him back the few feet to the brick wall. She felt powerful when she did it, like an avenging angel. She'd never call herself that, of course, she was nothing to pure or perfect as an angel... but the power was intoxicating.

"How about you think about every person you've ever killed for the Negaverse? Every person you've ever hurt, and tell me you don't deserve it!" She shouted back, nearly shaking with reaction.

Helio was well aware he was in deep trouble. very deep trouble and he had one of two things he could do as he struggled against the Eternal. It didn't help that he knew this was merely the tip of the iceberg when it came to the woman's power. One thought and she could have him cornered in a way that was catastrophic to his health.

She just wouldn't let him go! The wench was pushing such a close combat battle and she was doing a damn good job of it to Helio's chagrin. But then, she did the unexpected.

While she grabbed the front of his fuku, he very much expected a punch to the face, but instead found himself hurled away from her, back hitting the brick wall hard enough to clench teeth. She unleashed her rage like a venomous viper, spewing out all of her hate at him verbally. But she'd done exactly what Helio had needed to save himself.

"We'd be here all night ad I'd not recall half of them." He remarked, a hand roving to his shoulder. "So excuse me for not indulging you and your need for superior with your self-righteousness."

Helio wasted no more time and teleported away.
