Yomi took a deep he had been trying to psyche himself up for a while, he decided that tonight would be the night he finally visited his Wonder, a trip he had been putting off for nearly a year now. He knew he couldn't keep delaying it, he had to visit the domain for which he had his name. He didn't know what to expect, he supposed if he was honest he was scared, he didn't have much experience with space and he was worried he would mess something and he would damage his Wonder and he would loose his knighthood somehow but he knew he was being irresponsible by putting off his trip so fighting through his anxiety he found the determination to go. Taking a deep breath and giving himself one more silent cheer, he spoke the words to bring him to the planet of death and silence.

As he opened his eyes he found himself in a forest in front of a cave that had a large stone blocking the entrance. The stone was larger than the young the man and was covered in what looked like seals, tied around the boulder was rope that resembled shimenawa that he had seen at Shinto shrines, however the rope had strange black, blue, and purple crystals tied to paper. He moved to touch the boulder wondering if he could move it with his enhanced strength when the seals began to glow and then burn away, the stone then rolled out of the way on its own as if recognizing him as the master of whatever lay ahead of him in this cave.

The cave was dark and there was a stale odder in the air like that of a tomb that had been sealed away for centuries. Yomi covered his nose with his kimono like sleeve. Soon enough his eyes adjusted to the dark cave and his could see enough to make his way through. It was a disturbing place, Yomi decided but at the same time he did not feel wholly unwelcome. It was a strange feeling but he felt like he belonged here like the darkness offered him a reprieve from the stresses of his life.

He began exploring the cavern he found more of the rope he had seen on the boulder at the entrance tied around various stalagmite and stalactites but he couldn't tell if there was a reason for their placement. As he went further into the darkness of the cavern he felt a chill like many eyes were watching him. He summoned his weapon just to be safe. He felt like there was danger here not the same danger he felt in the presence of an Officer or a Youma but still it felt like there were malicious presences surrounding him. That was when he spotted movement in the darkness, at first he thought it was people but then he realized they weren't people but merely people shaped shades that were closer to ghosts. But even then these were not spirits it was as if a spirit had decayed as a body did to the point of unrecognizability. The shades were shambling towards him getting closer and closer.

He raised his sword preparing to call on his magic when he spotted another figure this one lighter than the rest. It seemed to motion for him to come to it and figuring anything was better than staying with the shades he ran past the advancing spirits towards the other figure. As he got closure he realized this figure was also a spirit but more humanoid, more of a proper ghost. The undead woman wore a veil over her face and a Victorian dress but with sleeves that resembled his own. Wordlessly she motioned for him to follow her. Yomi knew enough about Knights to understand who she was, he had heard of ancestral ghosts still haunting wonders. He knew this was his ancestor, the former Knight of Yomi-no-Kuni. She led him through the cavern past more of the shades deeper into the planet. She led the young squire into a hidden side passage, as soon as he entered a slab of rock descended to cover the entrance. His ancestor turned to face him and began to make strange hand motions that Yomi recognized as sign language. It was no human sign language that Yomi recognized however he found that he could still get the meaning of the gestures perhaps due to some sort of magical connection between the two.

The woman signed "I have waited for you for so long, beloved child of entropy. I am the last caretaker of this solemn place. I'm sorry I cannot speak to you but I surrendered my voice to the darkness many cycles ago." He nodded. "I had gathered as much, I'm sorry I didn't come sooner." He said feeling guilty. "But what where those things and what is this place?" He inquired.

The ghost nodded as she continued signing. "This was once a prison for some of the worst criminals of the Silver Millennium. They were brought here to be left to rot away until their very soul was degraded to nothing more than a harmless shade. The knight was to stand watch over this prison and to ensure the shades remained imprisoned here. However since my passing they have grown restless and more bold. They are dangerous to the living it now." She motioned over to a small wooden desk with a box and scroll on it. Yomi guess they had survived this long by being sheltered away from the elements in this alcove of the cavern. "Take those, what little inheritance I can give you. They are the signet ring of Yomi-no-Kuni and a spell from the ancient days I was able to save." Yomi gratefully accepted the gifts he took out the ring and like magic it fit perfectly to his finger. Next he examined the scroll as he did so the scroll seemed to be absorbed into his weapon and he could since a new magical ability. He suddenly heard groans coming from beyond the entrance of the alcove. "It is not safe here, you need to leave we will speak again next time." The ghost signed clearly urging him to teleport away. "Ok I'll be back soon." Yomi promised grateful to his ancestor before teleporting back to Earth to think over all he had learned.
