Lete had also learned that you didn’t want to tangle with the Negaverse if you could avoid it. They had not personally gotten into any hijinks of that nature, yet? But they’d seen a few of the Negaverse’s people out and around, plus the youma they commanded, and Lete really had no desire to get their starseed ripped out and eaten or used to fuel the Negaverse’s war-machine or whatever all the Negaverse liked doing with starseeds that did not belong to them. For that matter, Lete really didn’t want to learn what the Negaverse did with said starseeds. Having vague sorta kinda idea-shaped concepts floating around their head provided them more more than enough nausea, and Lete felt positive that the truth would only make things worse.
They were getting used to peeking up at the feeling of someone else’s magical aura while out in town, letting a Mirrorwraith get to work for them. But tonight, out in one of the parks near DCU’s campus, Lete felt a distinctly different aura than usual: one from their own Court!
Although they waited for their current wraith to get back from draining its fill, once it had gone back into the Mirrorshard, Lete struck out in the direction of the other Dark Mirror aura. Offhand, they thought it felt about the same as their own aura—definitely unlike the aura they’d felt from Tantalus, which had oozed power as much as Tantalus had oozed charm and charisma—which most likely meant that the other Dark Mirror out here tonight was on Lete’s own level. Another basic senshi, trying to figure out the ropes of this Dark Mirror gig and how it worked. Maybe they could help each other out with that.
Maybe they could even be friends!
