((Continuation of this rp))

Antares cursed as she withdrew from the helping hand of Sigiriya. He hadn’t known his own name, that was a clear marker of someone who had never used that name before. The page really was a ‘baby knight’. A knight who had no understanding at all of what was going on. Great, just great. Her mental cursing got worse when the baby knight started to pull away back towards the bathrooms, muttering something about searching for ‘Dessie’. Antares made a prayer to god that he wasn’t who she feared he was but ultimately knew that this whole crappy situation would need to be dealt with later. “She is fine for now, I swear it. But we need to deal with those two first before things get worse or she will be in a really tight spot.”

Too late, the blonde silently noted when she spotted the corrupt senshi murmuring into what could have been a communication device. This night really was going to hell in a massive handbasket.

“What's the move lady? Can’t say as I’ll be a great asset but I have a feeling I’ll be better than this guy.” Antares asked the eternal senshi without really taking her eyes from the chaotic duo.

- - - : - - -

“Hey!” Sigiriya was not happy to be basically called useless. He also wasn’t happy that he was still there but if the blonde, if Antares, knew where Dessie was then he was willing to put up with a lot. As long as she was safe. Sigiriya might have wanted to refute the comment of not being such an asset, especially since she was visibly injured, he kept quiet because he also wanted to know what the plan was.

Besides, he was always taught growing up that it was better to shut up and listen then run your mouth and miss something important.

Sodalite glanced at the newcomer that had arrived on the scene as he stood slightly behind Fafnir. Judging by the feeling he was getting the newcomer was even stronger in power than Fafnir was. The toy that was his weapon was quickly inspected before he turned his gaze to Fafnir. From the attack that had hit the senshi he couldn't tell if the other man had sustained any injuries but now all they seemed to be doing was waiting: for reinforcements or orders on how to proceed.

He grinned mischievously at the damage that he'd managed to inflict on the pair that had gotten too close to his weapon but even he had not come out unscathed. He was winded and a would probably carry around some bruises as a result of this scuffle but he was getting hands on experience to be sure.

Using a moment Sodalite scrutinized the opposition. Three against two at the moment. He corrected himself as he caught sight of the cat that was riding on the eternal senshi's shoulders. Maybe four then but if they had reinforcements arrive the battle would even out.

----
Illyria was memorizing the names that had been provided by Antares and the other young man, Sigiriya. It was Sigiriya that held her attention though. Even as she remained situated fairly well on Ida's shoulder did the Mauvian stare unblinkingly at the Page. The color of his uniform and the symbols that adorned it were making Illyria believe that there was a link that needed to be uncovered, and fast. Even as she tried to tease out an answer did Illyria instead shift her position before turning to whisper in Ida's ear, "if the pair over there is indeed calling for reinforcements do you want me to lead anyone away to a safer distance or will we need all hands on deck?"

Illyria's tail switched back and forth. If she recalled correctly at least one of the owner's of the chaos signatures looked a little familiar but the battle that had been on the rooftops had been a chaotic affair but the young feline was worried all the same. Who would respond to the request for assistance?

Fafnir, requesting back up. Facing off against a super senshi, a page and the Princess, Ida, with Sodalite. Awaiting orders.

It was every excuse Faustite needed to eat a starseed, even if it only allowed him to feel normal for a few hours. That would be all the time they would have. Thus, it was all the time they would need.

"Send me your loc." Faustite responded into the prism tip of his tablet. If Fafnir had enough time to request backup, he might be able to pawn the attention off on Sodalite long enough to check a street sign. Fafnir wasn't one that Faustite worried about in a fight; while it may not be Fafnir's preferred means of countering the enemy, he would have had enough training through his former Generals to hold his own. It was Sodalite that Faustite was unfamiliar with — he knew the name from the prior Rift mission, but hadn't spent time with this one to ascertain their skills.

Once Fafnir responded with the approximate area of the burgeoning force, Faustite scowled. Last time they attacked Ida, she summoned a surfeit of enemies to her position as soon as Faustite pulled in his team. Their numbers were overwhelming enough to force a retreat — and that was while Faustite was hale. Now he was visibly weakened, and Ida had a couple targets — or supports — with her.

Perhaps, then, it was better to go alone. Let them think they had the advantage, that they matched or outgunned their opposition. Ida wouldn't be at her best, either.

"Will rendezvous with you. String them along for now; once you see me engage Ida, double up on the Page. See if we can make her do something stupid to protect their weakest member. Over." As soon as he ended the transmission, Faustite was casting his thoughts back to the shopping complex that Fafnir had mentioned. It was easy enough to imagine its surroundings; he had been there often enough himself, of late.

Once he vanished from his office, the burning youth arrived as flame at ground level. As the fire built up into the shape of a person, Faustite scowled as soon as he caught sight of the Page Fafnir had mentioned. Then, with renewed venom, he turned his fiery form on Ida to encircle her and strike her from behind.

Ida reached up a hand to stroke Illyria’s side, acknowledging the comment about more incoming. She agreed… but there was no way she was going to leave these two behind. The super was hurt, she could tell that much, and the page barely seemed to know what was going on… and getting a good look at him, he was no knight planet she had seen before. That combination of purples was familiar and… was that orchids on him?

Was… was he an Idan knight?

A wash of heat, then cold, swept through her and every combination of emotions she could have. Amazement, pride, joy, disbelief, desperation, panic… An overwhelming amount of things she didn’t know what to do with just now. Her planet had knights. Yet another duty added to a never-ending stack of them, already threatening to swamp her and pull her under. What was she supposed to do with him?

“I’m… I’m Ida.” She said, her voice off-kilter as she glanced from them to the corrupt. “The two of you should get moving. Get out of sight and power down, it’ll be the easiest way to lose them. I’ll be right behind you. If he’s calling in more people, this is about to get… spicy.”

She half recognized the corrupt, actually. And if he was part of that team… then spicy was an understatement.

————

He faithfully relayed his position to his general, pushing down his own reticence. The orders he received were… neither encouraging or discouraging. String them along… He could do that. And with Faustite to take on the eternal, they could focus on the injured pair, as he commanded. Maybe they could take one, or both… it was a wild fantasy to take all three, when one was a princess.

“Yes, sir.” He said as he banished his pen to subspace, gathering himself. He hoped Faustite was smart enough to bring some back up with him if they were going to engage. He didn’t want to have to teleport all three of them out of here.

Darting forward brazenly, he skidded to a halt within range and drew breath again, blasting that dark, oily smoke again straight at the trio.

———

Ida saw the corrupt rush at them and she darted forward to meet him. He had some sort of breath weapon, and that’s what she was expecting when he suddenly halted.

Sweeping up her arm, she called her arrow again and loosed it at him, having the small satisfaction of seeing it impact and blast the smoke in all directions as it threw the corrupt backwards. Then the new signature appeared and before she could react, a curtain of fire rushed her, sweeping around her in a far too familiar way. Faustite. He struck at her back and she turned to meet it, hissing in pain as flames licked along her skin.

There were what seemed to be a few heartbeats of silence. The two groups eyeing each other, waiting for someone to make the first move but neither actually doing it. Honestly it felt a little like they were in a standoff, like the two groups standing in the park were rehearsing that one scene from West Side Story where the two gangs faced off against each other. Except neither order nor chaos would break out in song. She sure as s**t wasn’t that's for certain. The eternal, Ida, quietly told both herself and the page, Sigiriya, to scram. It was a valid plan but still Antares shook her head, “No man left behind. We go together.” Besides, she honestly didn’t think she could protect Sigiriya by herself right now, nor move as fast as they needed to get out of this building s**t show, and as much as she wanted the page to run for the hills alone he wouldn’t know what to do, he was way too new. The blonde opened her mouth, about to suggest they all back up and head out as fast as they could move as a group, but never got the chance because that uneasy stillness broke when the corrupt rushed towards them.

Ida pulled her arrow trick again and made the smoke that the corrupt created dissipate but before it was even gone fire had taken its place. “s**t,” Antares muttered before she hobbled as fast as she could towards the engaging combatants. Once she was within range of her magic she triggered her Sailor scout magic with a muttered, ‘Scorpion Sting’. The singular scorpion would hopefully be easily missed in the chaos of the fight, unlike the earlier trio, the singular arachnid wasn’t as strong but it would provide a distraction hopefully allowing Ida to disengage from the young looking man who was currently on fire… literally.

Sailor Scout Attack: Scorpion Sting

When the attack is called out a ghostly scorpion around the size of a rat or a hamster appears and advances upon the attended target. The scorpion can be touched, swatted, hit, and stepped on but it is not recommended since it is able to sting through clothes and armor alike. When it stings, it's target gets severe pins and needles sensation in the limb that was stung... as if their limb had fallen asleep and was just then waking up, this effect lasts 30 seconds. Any residual affects are up to the target if there is any at all.

The scorpion can be dodged and after 7 feet it disappears and it can only manifest for 30 seconds at a time. It does not travel in a straight line, rather it will head to anything moving so it could be tricked. The length of the scorpion and the length of the effects of the attack are separate, if you are stung in the beginning you have just as long as someone stung right before the scorpion disappears.

This attack can be used up to a maximum of three times in a battle. When the three scorpions have been used no more can manifest until later.

The lady in purple and gold told them to run, she used a few phrases he didn’t really get but the underlying idea was a good one. Things seemed to be at a stalemate for a moment so it was a perfect time to go. Then things went tits up. The long haired fellow was engaged by the purple lady, Ida he thought he heard her say. And before he could even blink, it at least seemed that way, there was a guy (?) trailing fire appeared in the park clearing. From what he could assume, the rapidly dissipating smoke was a pretty good trail marker. Human Torch over there likely came from the shopping center that they had come from… a few minutes ago? It felt like hours honestly. Lifetimes really. His head hurt and he wondered if maybe this was some kind of fever dream brought on by the horrid smell that was the park loo but the pain he felt across his back belayed that thought.

This was real. This was all very, very real.

He spotted movement out of the corner of his eye and, once again, before he knew what to do he watched as the blonde, Antares, hurried forward to do something. He had no clue honestly but she was doing something that was likely to help. Maybe. All the while he was at a loss. Sigiriya hesitated a second longer before turning on his heel and heading back towards loos. There had to be something there that he could use. Anything there that could be helpful. Maybe a fire extinguisher he silently hoped as he raced towards the small building.

The orders were to double up on a target and yet once the General had arrived on scene did Fafnir decide to spring at the entire group only to be blasted backwards by another arrow shot. Well that certainly hadn't worked out. The lieutenant watched as the page (and weakest member) of the group actually made his job easier by separating himself from the battle. Now where was he going in such a hurry? Was it worth the risk to follow the page in case he flagged down more support? Or should he stay and tag team the super senshi again with Fafnir? Surely the senshi could take a little bit more punishment this evening. Decisions, decisions. There were two directions that he could decide to move in and both would technically following the orders that came from General Faustite. But doing either would also be disobeying the edicts given out.

The unknown destination of the Page was lurking in the back of his mind and with a groan of frustration did Sodalite make the decision to follow the weakest member of the trio. "I'm going after the Page,"

At least with Fafnir engaging the injured senshi and General Faustite engaging the Eternal Senshi: Ida - those two wouldn't be able to call for help, or at least he hoped for that outcome. So he continued to stalk after the Page. He allowed his weapon to have a little bit of momentum before he noted the destination ucpoming. "Hey, don't think that hiding in the loo will save you at all. C'mon ... do you really think you can get away?"

----
The suddenness of motion both from Ida releasing yet another arrow of attack at the corrupt super senshi that tried attacking had Illyria's paws scrambling to keep purchase on her partner's shoulder. As soon as she found stability though there was the barest flash of another chaotic aura that was fast approaching from elsewhere and Illyria had the feeling that this was the reinforcements that had been summoned. The Mauvian swore there was more than just a half-cocked amount of recognition of the owner of the new chaotic signature and it was probably that brief blip of cognizance that saw Illyria push off of Ida's shoulders completely. As it was she felt the heat ratchet up more than a notch as she landed neatly on the ground. She knew this one for sure ... had seen him back on the battle of the rooftop; had actually managed to stun him with her laser. At first the compulsion to just fire again before things got out of hand was strong.

There was a marked hesitation before Illyria instead shifted to her humanoid form and quietly made a move to follow in the direction that she'd seen two figures head off in. One was the Page and then the other that she could see swinging his weapon was a lieutenant. On bare feet did Illyria ghost after the pair. She could help turn the tables in this small skirmish and make sure this new Page was taken care of ... and then she could get back to Ida's side. Biting her lip she turned to gaze at the other combatants before mentally promising to return as soon as she could get the Page to safety somehow. Hopefully her increased energy output would make the Lieutenant hesitant to attack.

Looks like Ida was paying attention now. Faustite smiled mirthlessly.

He panted smoke as soon as he had begun to summon a handful of youma from the Rift. None were Headache, nor was he stupid or desperate enough to call the youma into action against a princess here. If the others forfeited their lives, his consolation was that he likely didn't know any of them. The Rift was vast enough that spending a couple of years down there only scratched the surface of known youma.

Five had begun to emerge from the space between spaces, but he hadn't witnessed the creatures that crawled into their side of reality. Faustite had felt a p***k at his ankle, through his boot, and turned to see a large scorpion. Turning, he tried to squash the bug, and the magical creature dissipated without a satisfying crunch.

He stumbled when he stepped, owing to how his ankle had fallen asleep. It spread down his foot, up his calf, and teased its way into his knee. "Stupid ******** senshi," he muttered to himself, exasperated.

When he turned and spotted the one who wasn't Ida, the one more likely responsible for that awful bug than the one whose power was petals and flowers. She was near enough that Faustite wouldn't have to move to burn her alive. Shame that Ida's cat went running off as a human before he could take out the three of them on one attack, but it wasn't a complete wash. So he opened his arms outward, his smile violent, as flame had begun to erupt outward from his grate.

Quote:
There's a bit of a time delay to his attack to allow people to escape if they don't want burns, but for simplicity's sake, I am condensing the build-up and activation to one post! The only people who should be in range are Ida and Antares!

Meltdown ;;
Range: 1o' radius around user
Duration: Up to 3o seconds
Use Count: Up to 2x
Miss Chance: Escaping range at or before the buildup stage
Effect: By expending some of his core, Faustite can whip up a firestorm on a local area, prefaced by dancing cinders seconds before the burst. Inferno gusts orbit clockwise, burning anyone caught in their whorl. Friendly fire possible.

Faustite arrived and Fafnir felt his confidence grow, pushing down the little voice that whispered his General was in poor shape for something like this. He had to trust that Faustite knew what he was doing, and had come himself rather than send someone because he felt confident in his own abilities. The shining arrow had ruined his attack, but he still had the weaker form of it. It would not do as much, but as he broke away to follow Sodalite, he figured it would work just fine on a simple page. That other eternal would have to follow them if she wanted to keep him safe, and that would leave the senshi girl to face Faustite alone.

The page and lieutenant were no match for his superior speed and Fafnir used that to his advantage to reach and then pass them, cutting off the retreat to the concrete building.

“Why don’t you take a break? You look pale…” He quipped, before drawing breath and blowing out another cloud of that sickly purple smoke aimed right for the Page.

Ida was not happy that the other eternal refused to leave her. She looked worn, where Ida was fresh, and if they both stayed, who was going to make the escape? She saw the page take off running from the corner of her eye, but without protection, he was going to be an easy target. Plans were going to have to change… but at least he would have Illyria, as she felt the cat leap from her shoulder and run after him, her power signature flaring on her inner senses.

Youma began to pop into existence around them and Ida felt her brows pulling into a frown that darkened her face. Cheap trick… but not surprising. Of course the Negaverse would do whatever it took to win. She certainly would call in whatever help she could get, in return. Hemmed in by the growling, snarling monsters, she tensed as she saw the bits of flame flickering in the air about them. Her eyes flew to Faustite and she knew what was coming from the way he smiled. She’d felt those flames before.

“Jump!” She shouted as she darted to the side, throwing an arm around the blonde’s waist, gathering herself, and jumping straight up into the air. If they both jumped high enough, maybe they could clear the blast radius… and maybe Faustite would fry his own beasties. One could always hope.

He had nearly reached the building when the first fellow who accosted them rapidly approached, there was still some distance between them so rather than engage in his chest beating Sigiriya just continued on his rush. Slower now since he was doing his best to keep the plastic mace wielding guy in his general sight, this was the only reason he spotted a cat-girl following them both. Now that made him pause, more like stumble a bit. Where did she come from? Was she friend or foe?

That stumble, both the literal one and the mental one, cost him since he wasn’t prepared for anyone to just seem to appear behind him. The sound of voice had him turning, right into the cloud of sickly looking smoke that formed from nothing. “Wha-” He started to say something before coughing took over. Chest aching coughs, hunched over hacking out a lung, coughs. Ones that had him struggling to breath but Sigiriya still kept his wits about him. What few there were remaining. Keeping logic in mind he tried to make his way out of the cloud of noxious smoke, moving sideways from his currently ‘sandwiched’ spot between the two fellows. Guess that would make the cat-girl a garnish?, a small snarky part of his brain noted. His steps were unstable and he staggered free of the cloud still coughing. “********’ Tosser,” he spat out in between gasps.

- - - : - - -

Antares felt a smirk start to form when she saw the General stumbled, the appearance of the youma wasn’t great since it really outnumbered the ‘good guys’ but it still made her momentarily happy to see her attack land. Two more ‘shots’ of senshi magic, one more of super were all that she had in her arsenal at the moment. She didn’t know how much Ida had under her belt, eternals were some scary senshi if Maia was any gage. Still… the sooner they got out of there the better.

Any jubilation rapidly faded when the sparks started to fly. She had no idea what was coming but it wasn’t good. Years of fighting screamed at her to vacate the area immediately. The question was, could she move fast enough?

She did her best, turning on her uninjured foot Antares started to move as fast as she could away from what would likely be the blast zone. She hadn’t gotten far though when an arm wrapped around her waist and Ida practically screamed in her ear to jump. And jump she did. As best as she could… just as a gout of flame erupted from the Negaverse General. It was hot. Hotter than anything she had experienced in a loooong time but that wasn’t what had her crying out. No, what drew the scream of fear, laced with quite a bit of pain from the fire, was the sight of Nat- Sigiriya being enveloped in the cloud of smoke. It felt like her heart stopped. Her world just froze. Logically she knew he was ok, he had to be ok, but mentally… It was a worse blow than a bat to the head. The thought she could lose him…

- - - : - - -

“Hello?” Pause. “Yes, I would like to report a fire… I think.” Hesitation. “It smells like smoke and I swear I see flames but… its in the park. Like who would set the park on fire?” An eerie cry echoes from the darkness. “Hurry.”

“Don’t worry, help is on the way.”

Sodalite had the good sense to stop his advance on the unknown Page as Fafnir's reappearance cut off the man's escape route and the sickly-looking cloud that was Fafnir's magic once more emerged to ensnare the Page's attention: except this time the magical attack seemed to have been successful in hitting their opponent. For a moment Sodalite stood to the side to simply watch the Page react to Fafnir's attack before he caught sight of a young-ish looking girl with cat features that was giving off a powerful order signature. What was this sorcery?

The best idea was to keep at wearing down the opponent they had cornered even as the Page tried to slink away using the concrete wall as a barrier. Sodalite's brow creased before tsk-ing softly, "won't do you any good to try to get away. You are corner-"

Sodalite's words broke off with a yelp as he was struck in the back by a significant amount of momentum. He stumbled; attempted to regain his footing before he felt small hands shove hard against his back ... knocking him off balance and face first into the facilities concrete wall. The impact left him reeling and he swayed before finding himself on the ground.

Even as he clutched at his aching head did Sodalite had the presence of mind to swing his weapon towards the cat-turned-human before feeling the pleasing impact that his weapon had against her side. It cost him to manoeuvre as much, but at least he got in that retaliatory strike.

----
Illyria hadn't known exactly what she was going to be able to do in order to help Sigiriya out. All she knew at that moment was that one of the two negaverse agents that had the poor man cornered had to be dealt with and fast. Taking perhaps what was a great risk, even as that strange cloud dispersed did Illyria silently rush the owner of the weaker chaotic signature before ramming herself into him. The initial impact seemed to have caught him off guard and Illyria hesitated for about two seconds before she stretched out both arms and, placing her hands on the agent's back, shoved as hard as she could.

It perhaps was the sound of the impact with the wall that made Illyria flinch from what she'd done but she needed to get Sigiriya out of danger. He hadn't asked for her help but she chose to instead to help him. Ida and the other senshi, Antares seemed to be holding their own but she needed to get Sigiriya to a safer place.

Her eyes left the reeling Lieutenant before she attempted to grab at Sigiriya's outfit. "C'mon. We need to get to a safer place. I got lucky with that one stealth attack but it can't be duplicated."

It was that moment of distraction that led to Illyria experiencing the sensation of being walloped in the side with a hardened plastic toy. She yelped in surprise before she danced out of further reach of the lieutenant, who, still seemed out of it, but yet dropped the toy he'd hit her with before clutching at his head. "We need to go now Sigiriya, before they can regroup."

Sigiriya was rapidly wiping his watering eyes, that smog had faded as quickly as it appeared but it still had caused him to try to hack out a lung. It still didn’t stop him from yanking away from the barely there tug on his sleeve. He didn’t know who did it but at this point he didn’t trust anything. It took him a second to actually pick up what was being said to him, that someone… the cat girl… was talking about leaving. Regrouping to a safer place. Honestly that sounded good but he still felt peeved. He still wanted at least one lick.

As much as he wanted to sink his fist into that long haired git’s face he suspected that that trying would end badly for him. The knowledge that he had a newborn that he had to return home to had him nodding at the girl but with one final burst of speed he threw a punch into the downed guy’s gut, muttering a ‘stay down’ comment as he did so. Honestly he wasn’t trying to do more than vent some of his anger and make sure the guy who started this all wasn’t going to go after them again. If he hadn’t interrupted the date Sig wouldn't have ever been in this situation in the first place. He wouldn’t be here in a brawl that was filled with fire and smog and magic. He wouldn’t be wearing some strange get-up or have a cat girl urging him to run. He would have been at home, with his girl and his baby. He would have been doing his best to woo Dessie not here freaked out of his mind.

His goal was met — the White Moon had begun a retreat, away from Fafnir and spurred by the youma that had gathered from the Rift. Faustite couldn't maintain so much fire for long, naught more than a few seconds, after which he heaved a tired, fire-laden breath as he doubled over. Had he been well, Faustite would have seen the chance to give chase and taken it. Better that they were rid of a Princess and her compatriots as soon as possible. Given his dwindling energy, however, he had to let them be.

When he had recovered enough that he could speak, Faustite summoned his tablet. "Fafnir, rendezvous with me. Bring the Lieutenant. Better we —"

He paused, cut off by the distant wail of a siren. Faustite spared a lidded, unamused stare in the direction from whence the sound came. "Change of plans. We'll debrief in the Dark Kingdom. Want to hear what started this — what brought a Princess."

And why that Page's decorum looked so like her orchids.

Everything seemed to be going well. He'd caught the Page straight on with his attack and it had sent him into a coughing fit, his skin turning sallow. He just needed to grab him, grapple him into a immobilizing hold, and they'd have all the leverage they needed against the two women. He highly doubted either would resist once they had a hostage, but those hopes were dashed as a cat of all people tackled his lieutenant and slammed Sodalite into the wall.

That effectively reduced their advantage, since now she was grabbing the Page and making a run for it. He had only moments to make a grab for them, but his reach stopped short was his communicator went off.

Change of plans.

Fafnir hissed between his teeth. For a moment his face twisted into an ugly expression, his lips drawn back to bare his teeth. Then the neutral mask was in place again and he turned to grab Sodalite's arm, not even bothering to say anything to him as he hauled him to his feeth. He might have a concussion, but the medics could deal with that. His duty was to get him out. Concentrating, knowing it would exhaust him, he pulled the two of them back to the Dark Kingdom, leaving nothing behind where they had been

Ida had firm hold of the other senshi as they cleared the blast of fire, balancing both of them as they came down to earth again a fair distance away from the charred ring Faustite had left behind. He still stood there as she turned back, ready to face the youma that had raced after them.

"Go help him. I've got these." She said as she released her, making sure she was steady on her feet before she fully let go. Turning, she released her power and felt it flood her, a curtain of petals suddenly falling around her. Ida stepped through them and now cloth brushed the ground beneath bare feet, wings rustling at her back.

Her full princess power washed through the clearing as she faced down the youma and the General behind them. With greater speed now, she rushed at the beasts, delivering blows that hit harder. One, she picked up and threw bodily back the way it had come, some small part of the back of her mind hoping the lizard-shaped thing with spidery legs slapped Faustite full in the face. She kicked another, punting it into the fellow beside it.

Sodalite's head was spinning. He made a valiant attempt to get to his feet and stand when all of a sudden the Page that he'd tried to detain earlier was pulled away from his immediate vicinity. It was the cat-girl of all people who had gotten the jump on him and he made a note to remember her appearance. If anything, he would pay her back two-fold. Almost as soon as he got to kneeling did the Page swing a fist at his gut and Sodalite hunched over, trying to draw in the smallest amount of air possible. His eyes tracked the retreating figures before he felt like the world was turning askew.

Even as the duo backed away did Sodalite register Fafnir's nearness and with no warning whatsoever was the lieutenant whisked away from the scene by the other.

Here one moment and gone the next ... Sodalite was relieved to see the familiar outlines of the Dark Kingdom but he had to wonder just how badly things had gone with his first real ambush. Somehow he didn't think it'd gone well.

Illyria was pleased with herself and the Page that she had helped to 'rescue'. They'd both been able to subdue at least one half of the pair that they'd been facing off against and she smiled a little before glancing to Sigiriya with a cautious expression. Her hands lingered at her side as the two negaverse agents suddenly disappeared and she made the motion to grasp once more at Sigiriya's uniform. Her gaze swung to the melee that was still occurring between Ida and her opponent.

Glancing to where the other senshi was located Illyria gently pushed the Page in the direction of where Antares stood, "we should regroup and see if Ida needs more hands to take care of what she's dealing with."

With that spoken Illyria debated keeping going back to her smaller feline form before feeling the smallest amount of pride in her senshi. The Mauvian was hopeful that more Idan knights would appear in the near future but hopefully their awakenings would not be as chaotic as this Sigiriya's was.

Antares didn’t need to be told twice when Ida let her go, she saw that he was standing, she saw that he was moving, she saw that he could still fight apparently but that didn’t mean that she knew he was ok. It didn’t matter that she wasn’t certain that the Page was Nate, she knew in her heart he was and that's all that mattered. The blonde stumbled and nearly fell on her face when she felt the power spike behind her, a glance over her shoulder nearly made her pause since Ida was now standing there in full Princess regalia, capital P and everything. Antares could count on one hand, with many fingers left over, the amount of times she had encountered a royal before. But that didn’t matter right then, as her rather toasty legs helped point out to her, so with a quick shake of her head she focused on what she needed to do; get to Sigiriya. Her legs hurt, her ankle was burning, her whole body practically hurt but she had to make sure he was fine. Her injuries were nothing she hadn’t dealt with before. Antares had dealt with worse honestly so she powered through until she stumbled up to the guardian cat, which she ignored, and Page who she promptly and practically man-handled to check him for any significant damage. “Stupid man,” she practically hissed. “You should have stayed where I put you.” When it became apparent he wasn’t in any real physical danger Antares just sighed in relief. Finally taking the time to really look around she realized that the first two negaverser’s had disappeared. That left just Ida facing off against the General.

That match up was a bit like a truck against a tractor trailer… the tractor trailer will win but both are going to get damaged, just one more so than the other. Antares turned towards the guardian cat while mentally trying to plan out their next move even as the distant sound of sirens became distinct. “Thank you for helping him. We should probably bug out if those are heading towards us.” A blonde head tilted slightly towards the sound, indicating the apparently rapidly approaching emergency vehicles. “Do you want to call your Princess?” She turned to the page who was starting to demand answers, “I’ll explain when we are not about to get caught ok?” Quietly adding, ‘I hate being a superhero’ under her breath. It always ment that answering questions became so much harder, especially when they needed to move and fast.

People were just disappearing now! First they were appearing and now disappearing like it was some goddamn magic show. And to add insult to injury he watched as the lady in purple did a quick change and was now in a different outfit with wings that would put Victoria's Secret models to shame… not that he ever watched that particular fashion show of course. His thoughts were dislodged from his shock when the blonde lady started to tug at his outfit and twisting him around and just randomly messing with him until he pulled away with a, ‘excuse you’, which she ignored. He absently frowned at what she muttered, implying that she had stashed him somewhere when she hadn’t been the one to do anything. The only one who ‘put’ him some place had been Dessie. His frown became more like a scowl as he tried to put the mental puzzle pieces together but it wasn’t fitting. “What do you mean? What is going on? Where did Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dumb go? You said earlier that Dessie was ‘fine’ but where is she?” He was being ignored! He disliked being ignored when he had important questions that needed answered.

“Pardon me but I believe I deserve some type of answer here! It is the least you can do.” He was not happy in the least. Nor was he any happier with the few answers he got. Answers that didn’t do much other than assure him that the duo were truly gone, leaving only the cat lady, the blonde, the winged woman, and the fire-man in the park. His question regarding his significant other just earned him what amounted to a ‘not now’. An answer that made him grit his teeth but the off handed comment about superheroes had him biting his tongue. He was starting to get an inkling of an idea and if he was right, now was not the time for that particular conversation. “But aren't the emergency services the good guys?” He asked rather uncertainty at this point.
