It was a good lazy day for their family. They had decided to tell stories in the living area in a sea of pillows. She was quite comfortable even if her family was all lying in a heap together.She rested her head on Aki's belly and was in turn a pillow for one of the girls as well.
"Who's turn is it to go first with story telling and do you all have your snacks handy?"
She loved family days so much.

She was using her Mother as a pillow. Nothing felt cozier than family story day. It was so good. "I can't remember who's turn it is." She shrugged it was beyond her help. She sighed a most peaceful sigh. What would her story be about? She thought really hard but hadn't come up with anything yet. "Not me, I am not ready."
Her thinker was trying to nap on her.

Akiliano was leaning against the sea of pillows that his family happened to throw together. He let out a soft sigh, while he was still partially recovering from carrying their girls, he still was enjoying the family time. He lightly stroked Akea's hair and planted a soft kiss atop of her head. He definitely enjoyed their family time and it was one of many that He and Akea would share with their kids. "Well, I'm no good at story telling; even though your mother and I had our share of adventures" he said chuckling at the memory.

Auali'i was resting her head on her sister's belly, she enjoyed their family time together and she couldn't say they didn't get much of it, her parents always made they made time for family moments. The family moments gave them chances to strengthen their family bond. She looked up at her sister and her parents before looking between her father and mother, her mother had told her a few of their adventures before they were born. She nodded her head as her mother asked if they had their snacks ready "I know I have my snacks ready" she piped up.

She smiled and launched into a story about pirates looking for stolen princess seashell treasure. She thought the theme might put Aki out before the girls they would probably be at rapt attention. He had done a lot of work bringing the kids into the world and it had been hard on him as it was on all mothers. She was wondering how it would hit her one day when it was her turn. For now she was more than content to learn how to take care of the two they already had. Kids were a lot of busy with not a whole lot of sleep but it was still fun.

It was a good actiony story, she liked those and the romantical ones. She wanted a prince to come sweep her off her feet too.
She sighed, might not happen and what if he chose her sister? They would need two princes then one for each. Or a princess, whoever they chose.
"Good story mom," she whispered in a pause in her Mother's speaking. She popped a grape into her mouth and chewed in bliss though she sat up a bit while eating.

Akiliano listened to Akea tell the girls a story, before shifting ever so lightly and then settling his head down on one of the pillow backings. Normally, he would have the energy to be present when it came to family time, but this time around he was partially awake and partially asleep. The girls were definitely a handful when they had a lot of energy to expend. "Akea, honey you should teach the girls to garden one day," he told her.

Auali'i listened attentively to her mother's story before popping a grape into her mouth. She looked at her mother "What sort of adventures did you and dad go on mom?" she asked out of pure curiosity. From what she had over heard their parents were the adventuring type, and her mom had mentioned they had also met on an adventure together.

"Yah might burn off some of the extra energy hey? Why do I not remember having that much energy?" She felt like she had had it once, when no matter how you moved you didn't pull a tendon, you could run for forever and nothing ached at all. Not even for a little bit.
She ruffled Akiliano's hair, somehow both the girls had gotten her hair instead. But they had gotten Aki's beauitiful eyes. Now when she called them to attention the whole family looked at her with these pale cyan eyes and she was just entranced. They were the perfect mix of her traits and his.

Her eyes were half lidded and she was impossibly comfortable where she was, lulled to indolence by the steady rythym of their mother's beautiful voice. Now she and Daddy were talking and she yawned not being able to help it. She could just close her eyes and drift off to a dream land full of fancy pets that she got to take care of and they had magical abilities and she dropped off into a doze.

Akiliano shifted his body weight to a more sitting-up position before looking at the twins "mm...I think it's time for you two to go to bed" he said looking at Vaia and Aua'lii. The girls seemed to be dozing off during their family time, he looked at Akea "Think we should put them to bed?" he asked her.

She let out a yawn as her eyes and body were telling her It was bedtime, but she was trying hard to fight it. She looked at both her parents with a sleepy expression "Do we have to?" she asked. She wasn't ready to go to bed but her eyes and body were saying otherwise. After all, her parents plus pillows surrounding them made for a comfortable spot to fall asleep in.

Akea tilted herself up to also survey their children. “Sure look like it is bedtime to me.” she confirmed.
“You girls did have a rather long day today, with all of the activities. It would be good to get a good nights rest for tomorrow don’t you think?”

“Aw Mom, Dad, we like staying out here with you.” She protested rather weakly as she was also tired in truth. She was so tired she couldn’t hide it but she and Aua’lili had been at play all day. Running along the long beach and playing in the sand itself. She hadn’t even read today.

Now that he was somewhat recovered from birthing their twin girls; he needed to catch up on some one on one time with the love of his life. Now that they were a family of four he needed to think about some other important things. “Come now girls, we can do it again tomorrow” he told them with a smile.
