Now that Retzian had the idea to try to bring someone into the Negaverse against her will…she wanted to actually put that plan into motion, and she had thought when she felt the aura of someone who was (thankfully) weaker than she was, that this would be an easy trial. It wouldn’t be hard to talk around them and just…get them back to Negaspace and…boom.
Easy peasy. Then she could observe them and see what issues arose and try to do better with Dagon when the time came.
Grinning, Retzian closed the distance between herself and the Senshi she was targeting, seeing a blonde in blues that all seemed to blend together in her eyes…still.
Blue was a pretty color as she could vouch for herself…Dagon was blue after all, so it was obviously her favorite color. “Good Evening. I hope you have time to answer a few questions for me, Senshi?”
Maybe if she didn’t just start out with kidnapping him…the experiment could go in a complete other direction and she could convince him. Whatever. The only requirement for tonight was that it had to work.

Quinn was getting restless. It wasn’t so much staying in the condo, because he was free to leave and take Roxy for a walk whenever he wanted. And he could explore the city as well, and if he got lost he could just call either Jack or even Devyn or Paris or Lucasta to help him out.
No, it was not being able to sense the danger around him that sent tingles up his spine. Dangers that he was told not to underestimate, and yet there was no way of telling what he would come across.
Movement out of the condo window had caught his attention. An animal, maybe a youma, was lurking in the park. He knew better than to power up in the condo, so he made sure Roxy wasn’t going to eat anything she shouldn’t, and he made his way down to the park and powered up when he knew no one was around to see him.
Whatever creature had been roaming around was gone, but there was another aura close by. The same power level as the mousey little Captain he met when he first arrived on Earth.
The good evening was enough to pull a sneer to his lips, eyes narrowed on the woman’s dark clothing and untrustworthy grin.
There was no hesitation in his movements, a flick of his wrist and water began to form around her. He had absolutely no time to answer questions from anyone Chaos.

Not much of a talker, okay. Well, scratch the plan for trying to convince him…
As the magic began to pool over her, water...interesting.
Retzian’s eyes narrowed as her vision grew blurry and she summoned her cat o’ nine tails to her hand, fingers running over the round top of the jellyfish as she waited for the magic to end…it had to end…he was weaker than her, and all magic ended eventually.
Though, it was magic that would suck for someone who was afraid of water. If she had this happen a few years ago, when her dreams of drowning were fresh, and hadn’t morphed into something that was almost comforting, this would have been quite uncomfortable.
Reaching her free hand up, she tried to wipe at her eyes , smirking as best she could behind the rippling water that surrounded her.
As soon as the magic ended, she was ready.

Enceladus knew what his magic did. He knew it was being strange and fluctuating the time he had to wait between attacks. This woman looked relatively young for Earth standards, which meant she was several decades younger than he was, even without factoring in the thousand year time sink.
He just looked barely any older than a human teenager.
He could see the water dissipating, could see that she seemed to have drawn out some kind of weapon--
Again, he didn’t wait. He used his magic once more, watching as the water formed around her. Her and her stupid smirk. He wanted to wipe it off her face. So before the second engulfment of magic disappeared, he made for a running jump with the intention of kicking her anywhere -- torso, shoulder, stomach, he didn’t care -- through the water of his own magic.
It would certainly end the magic prematurely, but he didn’t care. He wanted Chaos off this world.

The bravado that Retzian was working to project slipped slightly as the Senshi once more cast his magic. It wasn’t…ideal, and the sudden knowledge that she had to hold her breath even longer made her need to take a breath now.
The human mind was so fickle.
The smirk hadn’t completely died away when he kicked her, shoving her backwards as his foot collided with her chest, causing the Captain to stumble and fall onto her a** as she gasped for air, pleased that his action had at least gotten rid of that damn magic.
“Not one for talking? Fine. You little s**t.”
Getting to her feet as quickly as she could, Retzian held her weapon tightly, and teleported, appearing behind the blonde Senshi. “It’s a pity, I just wanted to have a friendly conversation. People like you are why this war keeps going on.”
She swung the cat o’ nine tails at the boy’s back, uncaring about her questions. Uncaring about anything but providing him with a little pain…and then leaving.

One moment she was there, and the next she was gone.
Enceladus stared with wide eyes at the place she just was, his senses on high alert for her energy. But he wasn’t quick enough to avoid her attack, and he hissed in pain as the whip cut across his back.
“That’s bullshit,” he finally spat, writhing from the pain as he scrambled back to his feet and turned to face her. His hands were up in a defensive position, ready to fight if she tried anything again.
“You’re dripping with Chaos. You’re the reason there’s a war at all! We’re trying to defend what is good in this world, and all you care for is pain and suffering,” he hissed through gritted teeth.
“Only a coward would attack from behind,” he seethed.

“Only a coward would attack when all someone asked was if they could ask a question. Dripping with chaos or not, who’s the one that started this fight?”
Her blood was up and for a moment, Retzian thought about hitting him again. Thought about ripping his starseed, draining his energy. Tossing him off of some building or into a pond but.
She drew in a breath and shook her head, taking a step backwards. “Just forget it. I’m not going to keep this fight going. I hadn’t wanted to fight with you in the first place. Maybe talk first before you just try to drown someone. Asshat.”
It was a petty insult, she knew it but. Damnit. He was rude.
After taking a moment to figure out just how much a second teleport would take out of her, Retzian did it, giving a sarcastic wave and a bitter. “Bye now. Maybe next we meet you’ll have some manners.”
She doubted it though.

But the coward seemed to have managed to teleport away before the water could have engulfed her once more.
Next time, he would be sure to not let her attack him from behind.
