Langite was on a patrol, a chai latte held in one hand as he walked, and paused when he felt another aura that was the same as his.
Well, it was always good to network, and he supposed he should network now that he had been given more responsibility, not that he didn’t know that he could do things on his own very well, thank you…but. Still.
If one was seen, the chance for growing stronger would normally happen faster.
So, with a sigh and one last sip of his drink before he had to socialize, Langite headed towards the aura, and paused when he saw that it was someone that he had seen before.
“Suzaku. It looks like congratulations are in order. You’ve grown as well, I see.”
He didn’t know her well...yet he had liked her when they had met, and there was an obvious hint of pride in his voice. “You look beautiful in that new fuku.” It was fiery, just as she was, and it suited her.

Suzaku had been out, taking full advantage of the attention her new fuku brought her. Energy gathering had never been easier...
She pocketed the small orbs when she felt another other aura, heading in that direction. A smile grew on her face as familiar white hair and familiar shades of blue came into view. "Well well well.... Look at you. And here I thought you could get any more handsome." Guess he'd proven her wrong.
"You think??" She asked, picking up the skirt and giving him a small twirl. It feels like such a change from the last one... But this feels more... me." She hoped that made sense. "Thank the stars, my hair is up now though."

Langite chuckled softly and reached a hand out. “You look much more comfortable now, like you’re actually you instead of being a stranger in your clothes. I love it.” The twirl had been wonderful, and he had to agree, her hair being up seemed as though it would be a gift. That was the one…the largest issue with all of this was the hair.
Granted, Lonnie had long hair regardless, with it nearly to his waist, but…having it trail the ground while being pulled up was just…
It was too much hair, and thank goodness it didn’t get or stay tangled when he went back to his normal self…perhaps that was the best benefit of the magic.
“Are you on a patrol, and would you like some company?”

"I mean... The last outfit was cute...ish but I definitely prefer this. It uh... It kinda reminded me of you when I first saw it. You know, just swapping your blue colors for my red ones. I am glad you like it though." She had been, admittedly, a little worried he wouldn't like it. "I hope I'm just as impressive to you as an Eternal."
Suzaku nodded, reaching into her pocket to pull out a few of the energy orbs to show him. "I was! Er. Am. I am! I was taking advantage of..." She glanced down for a moment before grinning at Langite. Use what you got, right? "If it's you, I would absolutely adore some company right now. How could I say no to such a pretty face anyway?"
She couldn't.

Langite couldn’t stop the smile that crossed his face and he snorted with soft laughter. “Well, between the two of us there are no prettier faces in the whole city, I’d say.” Offering her his arm, the Negaverse Senshi took hold of hers and crooked their elbows together. “You’re doing your work so much better than I do mine, Suzaku. I’m a little jealous of your work ethic, I must say.”
After a moment he leaned closer, speaking in an almost conspiratorial whisper. “I don’t…patrol as often as I should. I know that, but that is our secret, do you understand?”
The wink he gave hopefully would drive the plea home. “Where should we go on this patrol? And should we bother with actual people or just go for a walk with us two?”

Suzaku grinned. "I would have to agree with you there." She said, linking their arms together.
She snorted, waving her free hand dismissively. "Can you really call it worth ethic... when you're taking advantage of what you're given? I'm sure you're pretty little face does plenty. Besides, think of it like this. I couldn't let you have all the fun." Admittedly, she had wanted to catch up, to do him proud. He really was her only friend here.
"And rat out my bestie? Never. Your secret is safe with me." The female corrupt patted his arm reassuringly. "I get it though. Just patrolling can get pretty boring. Yeah grabbing some energy here or there or a starseed switches up the pace, but just patrolling?" She hated it. "It's much better with someone else in my opinion." Suzaku made a noise in thought. "We could bother with other people, however as you said, between the two of us there are no prettier faces so we can keep to ourselves and make others jealous about it."

Langite chuckled. “Then, shall we, my friend?” He began walking, placing his other hand atop of her arm as they walked. Well, at least they had grown together, it was good to have someone on his level, someone he could talk to, patrol with. Someone to simply be a friend with.
Everyone needed a friend, after all.
…It was simply a pity that she wasn’t a guy. This could have been just perfect if that had been the case. Alas. He would make due. And perhaps it was best to keep personal life separate from work anyway. That could just make things…
…Messy. In more ways than one.

Suzaku giggled. Company was always better, especially Langites. "Do not ask to see how strong my magics gotten. I simply won't do that to your hair again." All that heat couldn't be good for it, magical length aside. "I can, however be bribed to show you on someone else so, ya know. Whenever you feel like watching me harass someone." She shrugged. "For now though, time to make the city jealous with how pretty you are."
