[Drako and Snypa Rifle] vs Theta and Pineapple

The following is the first tag team match of 2023! Introducing first...

 

[Cartwright]

Battle Cry by Little V begins to play, the crowd loudly booing as Corey 'Theta' Cartwright skips and prances in to the arena.

He is eventually joined by Pineapple 'Carter' Cartwright, who slowly and casually strolls in to the arena to join his tag team partner for tonight.

Theta points towards the ring with a gun motion and runs towards to enthusiastically while Pineapple continues his leisurely stroll.

Announcer: "Introducing first, weighting in at the combined weight of a sissy boy and exotic fruit....CAAAAAAARTWRIIIIIIIIIGHT STRRRRRRRROOOOOOOONG STYYYYYYYLE!"

 

[Drako Damone]

Ain't About the Money begins to play as the lights dim down. As the beat kicks in, blue and white lights begin to flash while a thin layer of smoke comes across the stage and down the ramp. Flames spring up along the set, a new addition.

"Making his way to the ring, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 200 pounds, he is the WWFG World Heavyweight champion, Drako!!!!"

An opening appears in the stage, and slowly the champion rises up on a platform, dressed in black with a hood covering his head. Black pants covered by a black hooded, sleeveless trenchcoat, and with matching gloves but shirtless underneath as always. The World championship belt is clutched in hand as looks down to the ring for a few moments before he finally begins to walk down the ramp, throwing the championship over his shoulder.

Drako stops at the end of the extremely long ramp and looks around the arena for a few more moments before he turns and walks up the stairs and into the ring, taking the championship back in hand as he does. He walks across the ring and steps onto the bottom rope, one foot on the second rope as he raises the title to the cheering fans. He steps down and walks to the opposite side to do the same.

Woke up this mornin'
Yeah!
You got yourself a gun!

The lights dim down once.more and flash red and normal as a white Chevy Corvette pulls into the arena. Out of the car comes the champion's tag partner. This is an interesting occasion: Snypa and the Damones train together and even beat the living hell out of one another for kicks, but this is new. Never have any of them actually teamed with him.

"Introducing his partner: from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 256 pounds, the Snypa Rifle!"

Snypa reveals the signature shotgun for his entrance, but being in no mood for the dramatic flairs he's used to, elects to fire the single blank round loaded in said weapon, trigging a wall of flames going down the aisle. He drops the weapon and sprints, ending with a slide under the bottom rope.

Snypa removes the sleeveless duster he's known for and tosses it to the outside as he joins the champion in the corner. He hopes Cartwright Strong Style have recovered from their injuries fully, because the Sadistic Snyper and the Soaring Dragon are going to re-aggravate them.

Theta and Pineapple appear to have a one way discussion about who is going to start the match, as Theta is doing a lot of finger pointing towards himself and the opposition while Pineapple shrugs and exits the ring to stand on the apron.

Theta bounces up and down, psyching himself up as the bell rings!

 

[Drive Type Wild]

Snypa moves to the apron. He's got plenty of time to demonstrate what the patriarch of the Cartwright Family has in store for him. He's also interested in the first time meeting between the champion and the self proclaimed Best Wrestling Artist in the world.  

[Drako Damone]

Drako tightens his gloves and walks up to the center of the ring. He gestures for Theta to come at him,  

[Cartwright]

Theta looks excited to compete against the World Heavyweight Champion.

Theta believes that he is the greatest living wrestling artist in the world and he gets to prove it right now.

Theta bounces around the ring as he looks for the perfect angle to lock-up with Drako.

 

[Drako Damone]

being that Drako is currently the best wrestler in the world, wrestling circles around Theta sounds like fun. Drako accepts the lock up and quickly looks to catch Theta in a side headlock  

[Cartwright]

Drako wastes no time in getting a hold of Theta, clamping his arm around Theta's head.

Theta looks to relieve the pressure by grabbing the arm and turning it in to a wristlock!

 

[Drako Damone]

Drako wanted to see what Theta could do. He wisely manages to counter the side headlock into a wristlock. Interesting, but Drako has been doing this chain wrestling thing since Theta was a pimply skinned teenager spending his days on DSL internet at the advent looking for "culture". So the Soaring Dragon ducks under his arm to relieve the pressure, then looks to twist Theta's arm behind him into a hammerlock  

[Cartwright]

Drako isn't going to be outdone that easily, twisting Theta's arm and getting behind his opponent.

Theta already starts to struggle, as he never completed his wrestling training, so he looks to take a shortcut with a back elbow to the head!

 

[Drako Damone]

Drako is caught with an elbow to the side of the head, forcing him to release Theta. Drako takes a step back, his head turned to the side, unclear if he's dazed or irritated  

[Cartwright]

Theta looks at Drako and decides to take aim with one of his infamous running knees, looking to strike the side of his head while he isn't looking!

 

[Drako Damone]

Fortunately, Drako was just irritated. as Theta rushes in for one of his stupid knees, the Soaring Dragon sidesteps while attempting to catch him in a rear waistlock, then launch him across the ring with a German Suplex
