It was snowing, lightly. On her homeworld, Dagon would not have sat outside in it, but on Earth, and with her Senshi's temperature resistance, she was willing to take a seat on the edge oft he roof of a building overlooking a beautiful park, and watch how the snow dusted the world below her.
She was, frankly, rather lost in thought. There had been some kind of holiday, recently, celebrating love. Not the first she had seen; many places across the universe had such fetes and festivals, often around the coming of spring, sometimes to celebrate a goddess of love or life. But ti was the first one she had seen since losing the love of hers.
And, moreover, the first she had seen since finding her again.
The problem of Retzian thoroughly occupied her thoughts, more often than she wanted to admit. She wanted to find an answer, to save her from the Negaverse, but how would that work if she did not wish it?
Ugh, troublesome. She would have to find answers on her own, she supposed.

Fang wouldn't say he was unconcerned with a holiday about loving each other, particularly romantic partners. No, he was more concerned with the fact that with this holiday celebration around, and all the advertisements he saw, and the poetry, and everything about it... Made him finally realize just what the feelings he was having for Zac were. And he would like to never think about that again! Zac had gently let him down before, with the talking like Fang was simply afraid of Zac instead of desiring his touch. No, it was best to pretend it was never real, that he didn't understand anything about romance, that... he didn't wish for one of those cupid archers to pierce Zac or at least pierce Fang and make him fall in love with someone else, so he didn't have to hurt about this anymore. When he spotted the fellow alien, he nearly skidded to a stop and fell before he caught himself and headed her way. He could always make new friends easily just by talking to another alien, even if they'd never met each other before. "Hello!" he greeted cheerfully.

Dagon perked up when she heard a voice and felt a friendly aura, and turned, and took a moment to size this other person up. Distinctly nonhuman, wit those ears and that tail--ah, someone else like her. A refugee out of time, from an era long past.
She smiled, warmly.
"Hello," she said, and she beckoned him over to sit with her. "I don't believe we've met before. I'm Sailor Dagon. And you?"

"Sailor Fang!" he all but shouted, sitting next to her on the roof, tail thumping it behind him. He couldn't help being excited, ears perked forward and face all grins as he looked at her. She was... really kind of pretty. Not the kind of pretty he suspected people of his world might have enjoyed, but they were long, long gone. Ah, it didn't matter, not when his heart belonged to someone else anyway. Stop worrying about it so much, he told himself. "Of Chrysocyon," he said belatedly. "Friends?"

Oh. Oh, he was adorable. There was a cheeriness in this Senshi that had Dagon relaxing around him--and it was safe enough to do that anyway, since he was clearly not exactly dangerous.
"Sailor Dagon of Dread," she introduced herself casually, and she couldn't help but be entertained by the sound--and the sight--of that cute tail thumping in the snow dusting the rooftop. She'd met people like him before, in her time as a Senshi; it never really stopped being cute. "And I would very much like to be friends."

"Exse—eggs-uh—Um, good!" he stammered a bit, making a tiny face as his words were thwarted again. This problem would probably persist... forever, he guessed. He just wished he could vocalize exactly what he meant every time instead of having to dance around it, or just use lesser words when he wanted the bigger words for a reason. They conveyed so much more. "How long been on Earth?" he asked, tail swishing out a path in the snow behind him. "I been... hm, year? Earth year? Not seen many other aliens."

Ah, this poor thing had trouble with speech--perhaps his people had a very different tongue, or perhaps he had messier circumstances even than her. She still nodded, and considered his question.
"A little over that for me, as well," she said, and she smiled warmly. "I haven't met many like us either. I know they exist--the humans who offered me a home have another living with them, and we've run into each other, and I met a Sailor Alastor recently--but it seems that we are few and far between."
She sighed, softly. She didn't want o ask, in case the situation was like hers, but--she had to know.
"How is your world?"

Ah. He should have known that topic would come up. His tail stopped wagging immediately, ears falling in disappointment and sadness. He wished that he could have stayed in time about two seconds ago, when he was just happy to meet another alien and talk, but... This was necessary. "Dead," he said dully. "Chaos came. Slow. So slow. Sick. Watched everyone... sick and die. Family, gone. Fur family, gone. Village, gone. No food, no water... too long. Somehow, stayed alive. Magic... kept me safe-ish. Not others." He wanted to cry. "Then, poof, here, one day. Nothing familiar. Everything... alive. Bright."

Dagon nodded, and her eyes flicked off into the distance.
"It happened to my world, too. Invaders came, seeking our magic. They brought it with them, and it poisoned....everything. Left it all dead and dust."
He seemed so young. Perhaps he was, indeed, young enough to be her child, comparatively. (Then again, most on Earth were.) She reached a hand over, gently rested it on his shoulder, and squeezed.
"If each of us is the last of our people, then I suppose that means we just have to look out for each other, no?"

He leaned into her support as easy as breathing, feeling a deep, yearning sense of camaraderie that he hadn't felt with anyone else just yet. He liked her. "Yes. Fang and Dagon stick together," he said, looking to her with a gentle smile. This... was good. Very good. "No fear, together. No darkness. Fight Chaos. Keep safe. Good friends." He smiled a little wider, ears slowly perking up some; at the very least, not in the Totally Depressed Position. Things would get better, he was sure of it. The little blue orb thing that had shown up one day burbled at him, and he patted it gently. Hm. Things... definitely would get better.
