Lysithea knew that there was at least one of her…of her knights running around, and while she hadn’t had a chance yet to meet the girl, she was still keeping an eye out just in case as she went on a patrol.
Honestly, she wasn’t sure what to expect. It was her first patrol after…well.
After everything had changed…though, the only outward sign was the brightly glowing transcendence markings that adorned her arm, leg and forehead…but. Still…if the wrong person saw that, it could go poorly for her…if Faustite found out…
…well. She knew that it would go poorly for her. And him.
The thought made her want to cry.
Still…she couldn’t cry. Shouldn’t cry. Lysithea had the power to actually save him now…if he wanted it…with the court beside her…they could truly save Faustite…
But only if he wanted it…that thought made her want to weep again, but…
The feeling of an Eternal Negaverse Senshi had her stiffening, and Lysithea slowed in her steps, at least until who it was came into better view.
“...Monoceros!”
Speaking of saving...
“I’ve missed you.”

Monoceros shivered at the shout, initially, until he realized that she was exactly who he'd been looking for recently. He'd finally gotten his life in order, gotten to a point where... Look, he didn't feel entirely comfortable, just leaving, but he felt like he was probably the readiest he'd ever be. Just a little more time. But at least now, he felt like he could name a day. He bounced over to her, skidding to a stop so he didn't accidentally wrap her up in a hug. "Lysithea," he breathed, weak with relief. "I..."

Lysithea watched him and couldn’t help but smile slightly, moving forward and wrapping him in a hug since he seemed reluctant to do so. He looked like he could use it, regardless. “You what, you silly goose? You should be happy that Malus isn’t here with me, he said that the next time he saw you he was going to kidnap you until you were ready to purify. We miss you, Monoceros. We all do.”
She squeezed him gently and then pressed a kiss to his temple before drawing away and looking almost worried.
“...Are you here to tell me that you’ve changed your mind and don’t want to come home…? Because if you are, you better make sure if you see Malus to just…leave…because he was really determined to get you back…”

Weak with relief, he hugged her back, feeling safe and warm. He felt something, some weight in his chest, unravel, just from the soft hug. And then the following kiss to his temple, well. He relaxed fully, letting her step back and smiling crookedly at her. "No, not at all," he assured her. "Tell Malus I appreciate that he wanted to really kidnap me, though. No, um. I'm almost... ready... I just wanted to set a time. So I can wrap up. I..." He hugged himself, suddenly, looking down and trying to, but not quite succeeding in not shaking like a leaf. "I just don't know what to do about the man I love. He'll never purify. I mean, I have hope, of course, but..."

Lysithea sighed and reached out, taking hold of his hands and squeezing them. “Doesn’t mean we can’t keep trying with him. Tell me about him, if I can see him, I’ll do my best too. We can save him, Ceros. We can save everyone...at least. That’s my hope.”
It was something she was trying to do…something that she had a better chance of doing now that she had…well.
More of an option to do it.
“When do you want to do this? I’m ready whenever you are, we’ll go up to Lysithea and we’ll get you taken care of, you can come home...it’ll be so good.”
…Not that she remembered him from before but. Still.
Everyone spoke so well of him. It felt like she had imagined a good enough memory of what it must have been like.

He winced, squeezing her hands back. There was a reason he had just danced around Ashanite's name, after all. He was a feared General, and for good reason. Well. Bad reason. Uh? Bad actions, good reasons to not trust him or want to try to help him. "He's, um. A General," he hedged, "Very tall. Like, sooo tall. Sexy as all hell, long hair to boot and it's not even magical." He tugged at his own hair with an awkward laugh. "I, uh... Please... Don't freak out, if I say his name? I—I want to come home. I want to... take him home too, if I can, and even if I can't live with you guys, I..."

Lysithea frowned, feeling her skin begin to crawl just slightly. OF course it was a General, she had no doubt of that, who else would Monoceros be having a love affair with? But. the first worry that filled her, was quickly dispelled when Monoceros continued that he was tall...and had long hair.
…Okay so it wasn’t Faustite or Jet…
She relaxed slightly. “It can’t be any of the two that my mind went to, since neither of them are tall or have long hair so…I really can’t see myself freaking out, don’t worry about that, Ceros. Just tell me so we can get the word out and start trying to help him. He deserves it.”
She was quiet and pressed the tip of her index finger to the tip of his nose. “Everyone in Chaos deserves the chance to leave if they want it. And sometimes they don’t know that they want it until people try to help them…so.” Lysithea smiled. “Who is it? We’ll do our best.”

Monoceros sighed, rubbing his upper arm and sputtering his lips, very reluctantly meeting Lysithea's eyes. "It's Ashanite," he said quietly, bracing himself for any backtracking Lysithea might make on her words. He knew Ashanite... wasn't a good person, by many people's views on the White Moon side. And it made sense, for sure, but Ashanite was more complex than that. He was.... Monoceros's first love. And Monoceros knew so much more about him than the average White Moon senshi or knight. The way he laughed, giggled helplessly, really, when 'Ceros made a particularly bad pun in private, the way he kissed 'Ceros like it was something he needed to keep on living, just—there was so much more.

Lysithea nodded politely, wrinkling her nose for a moment, trying and failing to place the name. “Never heard of him, but I’ll be happy to do my best to convince him if I ever see him.”
Obviously he couldn't be that bad, or that important or she would have known…something about him…he was never in the circle that she had gotten caught in at the very least so…that was good.
“Tell me a date, Monoceros. Tell me a date and we’ll bring you home, and then we can all work together to bring him home too. I promise you.”
And she meant it. He would be the first one she would truly save...but she would. And hopefully he wouldn’t be the last.

He blinked, startled a bit by her never having heard of him, but... If her memories were that fuzzy, then... Hm, ah well. She'd help. And he adored her for it. "Monday, next week. Thank you," he said gratefully, wrapping her in a hug. "I look forward to it."

Lysithea nodded and returned the hug. “Monday next week then. I’ll see you soon, ‘Ceros.”
There was an edge of excitement in her voice and when she drew away and waved, turning to go home, all Lysithea could really think was that he would be coming home…and…hopefully.
Hopefully she would be the cause of it.
