(A brief text intro, the font and music strongly indicating, murder mystery.) The screen transitions to a young woman sitting at her desk, likely in a bedroom studio. Everything looks very clean and very soft around the edges, including the girl with her light make-up, oversized knit sweater, and lightly fluffed hair.
"Hello, my friends, it's Emily," she greets the camera in a clear, gentle voice, like someone who knows you had a bad day, offering a warm drink. She glances to the side as an on-screen livechat scrolls with a series of greetings and emojis. "I'm glad you all could join us here today. We'll have some time later to answer question from the chat." She leans forward a bit, her expression loosening into a confiding smile, "That's always my favorite part."
Suddenly another body slides in next to her, a bowl of glistening popcorn and can of soda plunked down onto the spotless desk. The young man gives a sloppy, "Yo!" as he settles in.
"And you all know Dwight, my editor-"
"Manager, personal assistant, stylist, cameraman, and advertising agent." Dwight adds smoothly, clearly used to listing off all his many, many jobs. He looks to be the around same age as Emily, a little taller with a distinctly Asian cast. Though dressed casually there's a sense of brands about him for those who know what to look for. From his glasses to his haircut, to his watch and windbreaker. He's clearly someone who pays attention, and money, on how he dresses.
"What's up y'all! looks like the chat's already going hot, but save the good questions for later. This is gonna be our post post-cringe episode."
Emily smiles politely and it's clear she doesn't understand what he's saying, but she's happy for him anyway. "One of the reasons Dwight's on camera today is because-"
"I'm good looking."
"-this channel actually got started on his twitch channel," she finished smoothly. "Some of you have been with us since day one, and are familiar with it. I see you in the chat, queen-up-queen, as always, thank you for taking such good care of the subreddit! And uwereamagazine, I hope you're doing well with your current project."
"Oh hey, it's uwubabywaifu28?" Dwight leans forward and there's a brief clattering of keys before he sits back again. "Please enjoy your 29th ban, buddy! Okay now, let's get the party started, Maidens."
"Dwight, please stop trying to make Maidens happen," Emily hisses sternly.
He leans forward and immediately a poll shows up in the chat, asking if the fan group name should be Maidens or not. From the chat response, this is a regular occurrence. As the chat scrolls on, the live video shrinks down into a corner of the screen and another video takes up the center stage. The quality difference is almost jarring.
Dwight explains, "This is the OG, may I introduce you to, the funny, the zany, the studly...ProDiddy on twitch dot tv!"

ProDiddy on Twitch 10-22-2013 The video is dark and grainy, and it soon becomes clear that it's being taken by people currently hiding in a closet with the lights off. There's some rustling sounds and the camera's night vision comes on, revealing a Dwight, younger and immediately more awkward. "Hey there, Diddlers-" The twitch video is paused, and Dwight calls out, "I can explain! I can... definitely... explain." He slowly begins to slide down in his seat as Emily simply stares into the camera without expression. After a moment, she picks up the bowl of popcorn and hands it to the man, now fully off camera and on the floor. She's clearly used to this. "He's always thought it important for media followings to cultivate an identity," she explains solemnly, like a doctor giving bad news. "Though I'm still not sure what a ProDiddy is." "He was a rapper, P-Diddy was a rapper. I was trying to be cool," Dwight's muffled voice adds, the embarrassment and offense clear even without seeing his face. "He was a very cool rapper," Emily continues soothingly, and starts the video again.

ProDiddy on Twitch 10-22-2013 "If you were watching our stream earlier, then you already know what's... up." An excessive amount of eyebrow waggling follows. There's a couple of nearby groans and one, very long sigh. Dwight cracks open the closet door, and the camera peeks outside into the living room and then pans up. "That's right, we did it! The classic." The furniture was attached the ceiling. Even the decor on the tables and walls were hanging upside down. For a prank cliche, it probably took a lot of work. "Our roomie, the cleanest-freakest cleaning freak imaginable, is about to come home. Today is her day on the weekly chore list..." He held up a laminated chore chart, tasks painfully detailed and listed in every column, in tidy girlish writing is: Emily."Yeah...she doesn't really trust us to do anything. And it was nice at first, but last week she sat us all down and gave us a two hour lecture on laundry." "She made us take notes!" Someone pipes up in the background. "So we're getting revenge!" "The chats says you were a bully," Emily comments, turning to give Dwight a concerned look. "Bullying won't help you achieve your goals, Dwight." "It was just a prank! It was a college dorm, Everyone does...you know what, you got a whole career out of this!" "That's true," she agrees gently before turning back to the camera. "Friends, if you're bullied, just remember that meeting and beating their challenges will be another step toward reaching your goals even as they fail to achieve their own." Dwight stares at her, wordless. ProDiddy on Twitch 10-22-2013 Suddenly the camera is pulled back into the closet admist a flurry of shhh SHHhhs and choked off laughing. "She's coming!" Someone hisses as the camera is adjusted to peak through the small crack of the closet door. At first, there's just a petite black silhouette, standing dramatically in the doorway. The living room light switch is flipped, revealing a much younger Emily. From her haircut, to her expression, right down to her clothes, the girl looks so much sharper than her more current self.

ProDiddy on Twitch 10-22-2013 Emily stares into the empty living room for one long, silent moment before dropping the shopping bag onto the floor. She takes a deep breath. She takes another deep breath. Breathing complete, she turns and walks outside of the camera's view for awhile, reappearing with a bucket, a duster, and a little white apron. The girl's expression is stoic as she first ties the apron around her waist, then tightens up the red ribbon in her hair. Emily tilts her jaw up in a come-at-me stance and begins rolling up her sleeves. "I feel like I'm watching an action flick montage..." one of the closet lurkers whispers. "Dude, she's like this every single time." "She's still like this." "Yes, I am." ProDiddy on Twitch 10-22-2013 Suddenly, the girl on camera blurs in a burst of motion, lightly kicking off the wall and spinning in the air, arm stretched out and duster in hand. She became a whirling, twirling dusting machine and when it looked like she was done, she exchanged the duster for a cleaning cloth and can of ******** don't know what I thought would happen but like...?" "Why is she like this?" Dwight finally commented, defeat clear in his voice. The grown up Dwight now has Emily in a brotherly headlock, whining and shaking his head. "I made a video series explaining why. A series you recorded and edited," Emily responds into his armpit. ProDiddy on Twitch 10-22-2013 Soon, the spectacle is over as the girl begins to vacuum the carpet, a task made extremely easy through her roommates' efforts. Unplugging it, she pushes it past the closet and abruptly opens the door, jump scaring both the occupants and some of the chat. Emily looms over them, expressionless. "It's all yours." The old twitch video closes out, bringing the livestream front and center once again. "Though Dwight's audience was small-" "There were over 200 viewers!""Although Dwight's audience was somewhat moderate," Emily graciously corrects herself, "...a few people clipped the stream and shared it. What resulted was a..." trailing off, she turns her head to stare at Dwight expectantly. "A challenge meme. And one that got a lot of traction less through people succeeding, and more through the hospitalization from all the failures." He looks more than a little chagrinned by this fact, "Yes." Emily turns to the camera, "House cleaning of any kind is an activity that merits thoughtfulness for your own health and safety, as well as that of others." She's so solemn, it's almost like listening to Smokey the Bear ask you not to commit arson and kill all his forest friends. "After that, the ProDiddy Team gave into requests and started featuring Em & M here-" "Dwight. No." "...and eventually she just got more popular and had stuff to say that people found really interesting! But more on that in episode two!" "Okay, and now for some viewer questions," Emily smiles at the camera, her expression brightening as she reads the chat. What follows ranges from proclamations of affection, a question about the current drama that erupted in the lifestyle vlogosphere, a request for some music recommendations, a complaint that a coupon wasn't working on her website, the usual ask about her relationship with Dwight which garnered their usual looks of pity and disgust and one another, and a few questions explicitly about The Cleansing Way.Those were always kept for last because they make the best segueway into promoting her video series, her new book, and a new coupon code for 15% off. "If you liked this video," Emily begins the final youtuber ritual, "then be sure to like and subscribe to the channel. She smiles at the camera softly, intimately, "And remember, my friends, the path is yours."
