Race: Shifter/Wind
Gender: Male
3 Base Traits: patient, energetic, self-indulgent
Personality:
- + cultured
Ilistoh was raised in what amounted to a compact museum filled with Tendaji's quirkiest trash. He has seen a lot of random items from across the realm and has heard a ton of stories about the people who created and used them, but as he grew he realized that not all of the stories he heard were true. He has made it a mission to correct those falsehoods, and even though he has yet to leave home, he now knows far more about the world and its customs than he did when he was small.
+ patient
Between his mother's agoraphobia and his father's physical disability, Ilistoh was raised to always have one eye on his family and to be prepared to take his time. He is very good at tolerant calm when he needs to be and tends to go into a bit of a meditative state when most people would fly into a rage.
~ energetic
Rather than simply displaying the hyper side of this animated trait, Ilistoh's energy can manifest in many ways, from lively and lengthy conversations to bouncy acts of exertion to sleepless nights. He isn't always active, but when his body demands movement he must eventually give in.
~ neat
Likely due to the fact that his parents and older brother were extremely sloppy earthlings as he was growing up, Ilistoh's preferences ran counter to that, and he emerged as the family's tidiest member. His room is the textbook definition of organized and he always knows where a thing is when he needs it. While not terribly picky about the crispness of his clothing or how dirty a day gets him, he starts each morning as put together as possible and has a habit of straightening up other people's spaces when left alone in them.
- self-indulgent
Ilistoh is quite the caring and empathetic young man, but that doesn't mean he never thinks of himself. In fact, he's quietly thinking of himself most of the time, unconsciously looking for ways to expend his energy that don't involve spontaneous jogs. He has flirted with gambling most often, and while he has always kept himself in check, there will likely come a time when his more extravagant pursuits get him into trouble.
- competitive
Okay. Ilistoh's older brother is hot, athletic, and seemingly good at everything he does. Ilistoh's inclination toward competitiveness started when he was a kid and is a direct result of his belief that Gyrr had no flaws. At this point, it has extended to many facets of his life outside of familial jealousy.
Description / Clothing / Accessories: He's adoptable #017!
History: Ilistoh grew up in Tinerr, the second son of Lys, a Wind woman who lacked her people's wandering tendencies, and Oeku, a Shifter with a sense of adventure greater than his body would accommodate. They met as members of an explorers club—both unable to do much exploring on their own—and became fast friends, getting together outside of the club to discuss the foods and trinkets they picked up from traders who regularly passed through the crowded city. Their romantic interest in each other took a while to spark and grow, but seven years later they welcomed a son, Gyrr, into their crowded home. He was everything that they were not—gregarious, vain, active—but he loved them fiercely anyway. He was joined by an unexpected brother eight years later, and from the moment he could form coherent thoughts, Ilistoh was forever certain that Gyrr could do no wrong. Gyrr loved his baby brother too, but the elder hybrid grew quickly, and by the time Ilistoh was seven, Gyrr had one foot out the door. He left their parents in Ilistoh's care, and the boy remains at home to this day, mostly happy to keep on living the life he knows best.
But sometimes, he sees a trinket that his mother has collected or hears about some new technological advancement from Belrea and he gets an itch in the back of his mind. Maybe someday he will try to scratch it.
